I've driven by Femi's many times over the years and finally stopped in for lunch. They don't have their own parking so I found a spot on a side street. The inside is small and set up more for takeout, but several tables are available on the side. I liked the display area with their slice pies, it was neat, clean and organized. The counter girl seemed annoyed and was short with me. She was kind enough to recommend a cheesesteak, but phone orders were clearly bothering her. It happens, probably not her best day, just gotta kill 'em with kindness! The bathrooms needed some TLC and updating. I've seen much worse, but it definitely needed a deep cleaning. My cheesesteak took several minutes and came out packaged in a great looking wrapper with their logo. Upon opening it I was a little let down by the amount of grease that had already been soaked up into the roll. The roll itself was fresh and came toasted. The meat and cheese were balanced just right and if there was a bit less grease everything would have been in harmony. It was an OK sandwich, but it could have been great! Would I try Femi's again, yes, but the soggy roll minutes after being prepared was a big turnoff. read more

I've been patronizing Femi's for a few years. Been ordering the pizza for the past year. But, mainly the pizza steak was my choice, chicken fingers or wings. On this past Friday, I ordered a pizza steak. Got home, ready to eat, bread wet, and no cheese was present. I took my steak off the soggie roll and ate the meat. It was tasting almost with a sour, bitter taste. My husband didn't eat his half, his roll was wet and soggie, fall apart. The look of it was not appealing. I called back to let them know, the guy on the phone was polite, however, his response was the cook said that's how a pizza steak looks, a soggy roll. I explained to him that I had a pizza steak from here many of times, and it was not like that. He said, he will let the owner know. From the look of the complaints the stars aren't that good. Take into consideration, the customers complaint and improve. That was my last $$ wasted at Femi's. Reconcile the wrongs, dont be so quick to say the consumer is wrong. read more

For the past 4 or five years my husband I always ordered their hot roast beef on kaiser rolls, cheese and horseradish. We've noticed first the quality of meat changed, then the amount of roast beef on the sandwiches were less. Really disappointed last time we ordered. I had a take out order from here. I had eggplant Parmigiana with penne. Although they gave a large portion of pasta, it was extremely overcooked to the point it just fell apart. The sauce was basically tomatoes, not much in the way of seasoning. There wasn't much eggplant either. They gave a small side salad and a piece of garlic bread. I should update my previous 5 star review. I am costumer at this place for the last 5 years. If I could give them less than one it's what they deserve. It looks like the business is under new ownership or management, all employees are new and food quality decreased. A couple days ago I was there to pick up my Yelp order and as a result all my family was suffered with nausea, diarrhoea, and abdominal pain. Their chicken wings are really good definitely recommend, I've had as well the chicken cheese steak which was quite dry and the Philly cheesesteak which wasn't the most amazing but was pretty ok. Don't Order Delivery!!! Called and placed delivery order at 1030 PM. Was told approximately 45 minutes to be delivered. We called at 1130, were told it was leaving the store now. Called at 12:15 AM, they called driver who said 5-7 minutes away. It's now 12:45 AM and no Pizza yet. An hour later the delivery driver called to say he would not deliver to the room come to the lobby. When I got to the lobby he was delivering another's order. I've ordered from Femi's four times, and each time it has been great. I've had the surf and turf burger, the haddock platter, the spicy shrimp salad, and tonight the beef gyro platter, which was delicious. The meat is tender, flavorful and well seasoned, the pita is soft, and the fries are nice and crunchy. I'll definitely be back for more, as the menu has so many choices! read more

One of my travel mates from work ordered from here the night before and had a great meal too. I ordered the strombolis "special" which is chopped steak (like what you get in a philly cheese steak) pepperoni, mozzarella and mushrooms inside a crust with marinara on the side. It was Huge and could have fed 2 people. It was a small. Delivered was $15. It was hot, crispy crust and flavorful. Delivery took about an hour from order. Here's the thing, they're THE only place that stays open late so they could be making a killing just off late nights because everybody else closes like 10, but they are wildly inconsistent I can order the same things twice it its not the same sometimes the kids meal comes with a toy, juice, yogurt, fries with their food but most times one of those are missing and they wont say anything and their food has actually been really good but you never know what you're gonna get or how long its gonna take 2 hours after ordering and still waiting on food is a bit ridiculous read more

I was somewhat disappointed at sandwiches today at Femi's. First, I used to be a regular patron here, but moved and then it wasn't so accessible to me. I was pretty happy to be returning today as I was in the area and remembered how wonderful their hoagies "were".... Geez, I hardly know what to say! First, even though I asked for light oil & mayo, it was saturated. Extremely little onion & lettuce (both seemed soggy). Two pieces of cheese and the ham (6 pieces) was simply rolled up and put on "TOP". I've never had a hoagie put together like that! OH.. and don't forget the tiny slices of tomato- 4 mini plum tomato slices. For 10.50. I felt robbed! Ohhh .. if you order online it's 15.25 (they offer you a 10% discount if you order online.... what the heck! Bottom line... I'd never return as it was such a sad sandwich!! The family and I love their food. I have been eating here for years! Since i was like 13-14 years old. Now I'm 31 i get their food for my daughter and wife also. The best thing about Femis is they haven't changed their food this whole time and that's a great thing! Still great tasting food just like it was when i was a teen. And their pizza steaks are the best around!! I don't know how they blend the cheese and the sauce with the steak. It's so delicious and it's different then your average pizza steak. No more can we patronize this business. Entirely too much on menu were whatever you order could be epic failure. Something like Pizza which I have to say was good at one time reason why we continue to order but time after time nothing but disgusting saggy over sauce bland dough. Family here from out of town was extremely annoyed how nasty the pizza was. I am begging Femi's management to take notice of the recent post good and bad. Usually twice a week and every time before I leave I stop at Femmie's to have a cheesesteak. All of my friends swear by all of their food the only complaint I have is their menu is so big I have literally stared at it long enough for them to close and miss me ordering my food. Everytime I've had Femi's, I had to put people onto how quality there food is! It's delicious every-time from pizza, wraps, wings, to burgers, sides, salads, more to try and more to love! Even my parents were amazed at how good their food was. Its my fav 'pizza' shop with plenty to offer. I ordered a seafood platter while on a layover in Philadelphia. I expected the temperature of the food to be lukewarm since I had it delivered, but I expected the food to be worth the money and the wait. The food was not pleasing to the eye. The shrimp looked dried out and appeared to be fried a couple of times. Needless to say, they were so dried out I could not eat them. The French fries were also over cooked.
