Plenty of area for the kids to run around and play. We came in the middle of the week so only 1/3 of the theatre was full, so plenty of space for everyone. I probably wouldn't come back here for the 4DX experience. I've been to multiple 4DX movies at Regal, and unfortunately, the experience here just didn't compare. The red 4DX seats showed every bit of dirt and oil, which made them look pretty filthy. The biggest issue, though, was the extremely loud fan/whirring system overhead. It seemed like it had to rev up before producing the wind effect, and sometimes it would just continuously whir without any wind at all. It was loud enough to overpower the movie at times and made it difficult to hear what the characters were saying. The effects also didn't seem very well synced with the film. There were moments when we randomly got wind that didn't match what was happening on screen, while scenes where I expected effects had nothing. There were also rain scenes, but we didn't get any water effects at all. Based on my previous 4DX experiences at Regal, I definitely expected more. Parking was fairly easy for me, but the shopping center is busy, especially with Raising Cane's right next door. My friend had to park farther away to find a spot. Overall, the 4DX experience was pretty mid and more distracting than immersive. I might come back if I were already in the area and wanted to see a regular movie, but for 4DX, I'd choose Regal instead. read more

came to try out the kids theater for our 4 year olds first movie experience. there is a huge play area inside where kids can play before the movie starts and during the intermission. unfortunately, no one monitors this and there were kids running around during the movie as well. i do appreciate that there was an intermission so we could stretch and check in with how our kid felt about the movie but i probably wouldn't go for the kids theater since son was able to sit through the movie without problems and there were too many distractions in the theater (kids running around the play area, kids crying/screaming, etc). huge parking lot, ezpz parking. read more

It was my first time to watch a movie here. My friend and I had to order our food at the counter - Popcorn, Margherita Pizza and sodas. If you download the Cinepolis app, you can avail of a free Churro Donut (which had vanilla ice cream on top)...yum! Overall, the food was better than I expected - it was tasty and delicious. Then the staff member will deliver your food inside the theater. There's an arcade / gaming area for the kids too. In addition to that, there's also a children's theater with a small play area as well. Thank you to Cinepolis manager Ria Lopez and staff for your excellent customer service! I gave 3 stars and I would've given it 1 had it not been for how good the food and drinks were. The movie we watched was nice too good sound good screen. But those seats were horrible. I was embarrassed cause I took my girl there. And when people were walking in, everyone was saying the same thing. A lady walked in and left and said she was not going to sit in these seats looking like that. Again, the food and drinks and sound saved the day but those seats have to go! read more

The only thing in the junior theatre was the playpen that was cool, but you guys are really going to put the full 30-35 min of previews before the film. Pico Rivera Cinepolis Theater was an enjoyable experience for me. I saw "Harry Potter and The Deathly Hollows, Part I" for $5.00. Yes, it's an older movie but I find it enjoyable to see films I missed in theater the first time, given an opportunity again. Beforehand, I ordered popcorn and soda. I always find theatre food to be expensive but decided I could splurge a little since the film was relatively inexpensive. Both the inside and outside of the theater are well maintained. Everything is clean. I plan on coming back to see Part II of The Deathly Hollows. I went back the next day to see a regularly priced film. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to eat in advance. I ordered a margarita pizza. Was it cheap, no. It was the price of a regularly priced pizza. Was it scrumptious, not necessarily but it was fine. The cashier who takes your order asks for your ticket and based on that, the food gets delivered to your seat. This allows you to not miss the movie. Other items such as popcorn and drinks are given at purchase. There is a huge arcade area, with seating. They serve alcohol so there is an option of getting a drink before the movie and relaxing. There are plentiful bathrooms that are also kept clean. There's plenty of parking, as well. Surrounding the theatre are places to eat such as Don Chente, Raising Cane's, and Little Caesar's, if you have time before or after. In general, I'd recommend this establishment. read more

Great concept, great experience and so fun for the kids. The pros: play area of course, 10 min intermission, full menu and bar!!! Cons: no tables to eat from, and the parents didn't watch their kids during the movie so there were interruptions. Cinépolis Luxury Cinemas in Inglewood is definitely a step up from a traditional movie theater. The overall experience feels more elevated, and I love being able to order from the menu right from my seat and have food delivered--it makes movie night feel extra special. That said, the seats are starting to show some wear and could use an upgrade to match the rest of the experience. Took my toddler here for a movie and it was cute and super child friendly with a play area inside the theater. She loved it but once the lights went out she was afraid of the dark. So we went into the lounger area where she thoroughly enjoyed the arcade games. Most of the games were not working so that was disappointing but since she's only 3 she didn't notice she wasn't actually playing now of the games. I was honestly so impressed by this theater. 1-my family and I were planning on going to amc and the tickets here were half the price! 2-the food is also half the price of any other theater and tastes better! 3-they have arcade games to keep the kids busy while you wait for your movie. My husband got a $50 dollar card and I'm not exaggerating we got there an hour early and even stayed after the movie because we still had points to waste. 4-they have a kid theater with playground and with the option of tradition theater for older children. 10/10 this will prob be my new go to read more

I haven't been here in years, so it was quite nostalgic to come back after so long, it is labeled as luxury but I think the name is quite misleading. Luxury usually implies that there is a certain level of quality to be expected but you won't get that here. This is more accurately a standard movie theater with quite a few things that need to be either repaired or upgraded. The arcade was only 60% functioning as many of the games were either off entirely or out of order. So if you had plans on playing a couple games... just come prepared to see some games not actually functioning . The popcorn: Im a big lover of popcorn and this popcorn they had was just fine, not too salty but not too bland, however there were a few burnt pieces and it was a little noticeable. If you are planning on getting endless popcorn, the bad is a reasonable size but not big enough to last me 15 minutes into the movie (as I said, I love my popcorn) so I would suggest reloading right before the movie starts to make it last a little longer. It costed $10.50 for the endless, honestly too much but... it is what it is. The seats were ok, but I had the misfortune of having a chair that was not working, so the seats did not recline at all, and when I reported the staff essentially asked me which seats and just kind of gave me a vibe of "dang, that sucks" and didn't offer anything to mitigate the loss of comfort, and for clarity, I was not expecting something monetary, just a commodum of interest in my complaint, and not feel like my complaint is a disruption of your day. Hopefully they atleast fix it for the next guest that comes in but they could really use a tune up in their understanding and nuance of guest relations if they are planning on keeping the luxury label. All in all, luxury? I think not. read more

I don't like writing bad reviews, especially for places I love going to. I love going to this theater because it has a kid friendly movie theater with a playground and my baby really enjoys it. We went today to watch Toy Story 5 and when we first went through the doors there was a dead cockroach at the entrance. During the movie we were in the playground at the front of the theater and I started feeling itchy. When we exited the theater I noticed at I had 3 bug bites all over my leg. As I drove home, I got 2 more. I felt the need to strip my clothes off and my child clothes off in the garage before entering my house. I love this theater but they need to improve their cleanliness and sanitation. read more

Very cute date night spot or just a spot if you like to have an enhanced movie experience. I had tickets to see Twister in 4DX and it was a very fun experience. Movie theater was well maintained, and there is a small gaming area to hang around in until your showtime. Labeled as a "luxurious cinemas", however the experience was anything but luxurious. If anything it was at best standard experience. The screens are so dimmed that you missed much of the details on a pretty much already low resolution projector. The seats even though recliner seats feels like my grandfathers old recliner lazy boy chair. If anything the only thing luxurious about this theater is their snack prices. You're better off eating before coming to watch the movie. Drink, hotdog, pop corn and nachos will run you an arm and a leg and a deep hole in your pockets Save your money. Awful customer service, dirty theater. A bunch of kids working. It was so frustrating the fact that I had to chase down my food whenever I was told that they would bring it to me. After I went back and forth twice to check on my food they asked me if I wanted a refund. I said no I want my food. They said they would bring it up to me and apologized. The movie was almost over and I still did not receive any of my food. At that point, I was very upset and went back downstairs a third time to get a refund. They claimed they went to the theater room I was in and nobody was there. Mind you the room was full. I will not be returning to this poor service location. read more

Reclining seats!?!? Yes please! I like this theater. It's clean and safe and has lots of parking. It's not too big so not very crowded. I only come here when I'm already in the area. Because it's kind of far from where I live. The lobby has arcade game for people to use while they wait. I recommend it. read more

We went to a 4DX showing of a K-pop concert. It was my first time going to a 4DX movie theatre (and also a K-pop concert movie). The theatre is really clean, and the 4DX show was fun. It was kinda weird to have the seats dancing for you, and the added movement for the crash zooms, and whatever, but it was a fun time. I could see the 4DX being really cool for an action movie or a summer blockbuster. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and I loved that they had bottomless popcorn and Icees - I'm still pooping blue days later. ;-) My only complaint is that the caramel popcorn really sucked. I was excited that they had it, but then when we actually sat in the theatre and ate it, we found that there were a *lot* of unpopped kernels stuck to the caramel corn. I get that they probably make it quickly because they have to serve a lot of people, but it made it just outright unpleasant. The three of us had to spit out the unpopped kernels into napkins as we tried to enjoy the show and get tossed around during the concert. I don't think I'd get the caramel popcorn the next time unless they manage to fix the issue. I took half a bag home because I wanted to see how many kernels there actually were in half a bag of caramel popcorn. It's a lot (see picture). Everything else was great, and I think my friend (the K-pop fan) really enjoyed the night out. It was worth the drive (about 30 min for us) so that's saying a lot. read more

I've been a loyal customer of this movie theater for about six years, ever since I moved to Whittier. I've always loved the luxury reclining chairs they offer, which made my moviegoing experience a real treat. But lately, I've been leaving the theater with neck pain, which is a clear sign that something's up. The fancy chairs that used to be so comfortable are now falling apart. Some of them are fixed in place, but the reclining buttons are either broken or missing. As a result, I've been forced to sit in an uncomfortable position for over two hours during the last three movies I've watched. Sitting in the front of the theater is no longer enjoyable. I hope someone reads this review and takes action to fix the broken chairs. At the very least, they should make them recline manually. read more

This was by far one of the worst movie theater experiences I've ever had and I've been to a lot of theaters. I came to Cinépolis expecting premium service, but what I got was the complete opposite. I ordered a milkshake before the movie even started. The film was 2 hours and 9 minutes long, yet I didn't receive my milkshake until the very end of the movie. At that point, it obviously served no purpose. I asked what happened and was told that the person who took the order never placed it. That might be a human mistake, but the real issue is that I was still charged for it -- twice. Even though it was their fault, I had to go through a whole process just to get it corrected. The problems didn't stop there. My popcorn was cold, like it had been sitting in a fridge for a while before being served. The water was lukewarm, not even close to cold or refreshing. The chicken portion was extremely small, and the fries were inconsistent -- some were burnt, some were undercooked, and the whole dish just looked careless. This is supposed to be a luxury theater experience, but the food felt more like leftovers from a high school cafeteria. The overall service was slow and disorganized. There seemed to be zero communication between staff, and no one came by during the movie to check on missing items or fix mistakes. When you pay premium prices, you expect at least decent service and fresh food. Instead, I got charged extra, served cold snacks, and had to wait the entire movie for a drink I barely got to enjoy. Unless management makes serious improvements, I do not recommend this location. You're better off going somewhere else where your order will actually be correct and on time. This experience was beyond disappointing. read more

Ria was the sole reason for this 5 star review. She was amazing to my family and helped us save some money on refreshments and was very VERY personable. She even went as far as to take off her wicked pin from her own blazer and give it to my 6 year old.
