Absolutely fabulous evening celebrating the Chinese new year at our favorite restaurant in Chestnut Hill. The menu provided a yummy variety of tasty dishes, and if I had to pick one, I would say the rib eye was tender, juicy and flavorful. The sea bass with the gun powder sauce was wonderful and the crispy duck with the five spice emulsion was rich and cooked perfectly. The family style approach is the way to go. Thank you, Sophie, for your wonderful service. On a regular night, my favorite dishes include the wonton soup, crispy pepper fish or brandy infused sichuan beef. Those are my go-to's but really everything is delightful. Consistently delightful. I wasn't in town much during the days of Henry, but Eddie is implementing some great additions and the staff is always amazing. Special shout out to Geri for always making a fabulous cocktail (try the lemon drop or cosmo)... you won't be disappointed.

Great service and adorable decor. My pot of tea was great. I had Buddha delight stuffed tofu pockets . Yummy! Dessert was a bowl of lychee! I would definitely return here!

Very good! Food 5/5 I ordered a lamb with Chinese eggplant entree that was outstanding! Great portions. I absolutely love the string beans, but opted for the spicy sauce on the side. I like spice but my body does not anymore. I'm glad that I did request some on the side, because it's intense. My lemon martini hit the spot as well. Service 3/5 Service was polite, but nothing remarkable. They greet you promptly and ask if you're ready to order. My server circled back a few times until I was ready. Ambiance 3/5 Dim lifting, ample seating, white table cloths. There is dining room seating and bar seating. I wanted to sit at the bar, but it was to capacity. I enjoyed my tucked away table dining experience and actually had more space. I am still eating leftovers from Friday! The food still reheats well. I can't wait to go back and try more dishes.

Quick midday work lunch at Cin Cin in Chestnut Hill. I tried the shrimp in garlic black bean sauce and crispy spring rolls were delish. The fried rice was a little dry but you can tell it was yesterday's, I came first thing in the morning when they opened. But babyyyy the flavor of this black bean sauce. The service was super quick, but again I was the first one there, lol. I love me some Chinese food, this finna be my new dine in and takeout spot.

We took my boyfriend's mother out to eat on a Tuesday night here! It was packed! I highly recommend making a reservation. I was shocked to see it so busy and people were still coming in after 8pm. The service was great. We ordered and our food was out within 10mins. The quality of the food was awesome. I forgot to take a picture of our fried dumplings but they were amazing. I love the sauce that came with it. I got the lo main and it was awesome. Sometimes they can be dry but not here! Plus the portion sizes were big so we got left overs. The price was very fair. My lo mein was around $15!

Cin Cin has been a great dining choice for years and still remains. Their staff is pleasant and efficient, their food is always very fresh, served hot and delicious. The Shrimp in Black Bean Sauce was very good. I had the Yeh-Yang Jumbo Shrimp. I wasn't overly crazy about the Yeh-Yang vinaigrette but overall the dish was good. I would select something different the next though. Definitely a good choice and must try.

The service was 5 stars and the food was some of the best I've ever had. It's a bit on the pricey side but worth it.

The tennis courts are grass ready to welcome debutants from another era who not only ricochet between the Main Line and Newport but compete in hoop skirts and corsets rather than clothing spawned by space age polymers and blessed by the demigod Nike. Time seems irrelevant here. A bit of exaggeration but you get the picture. The entire milieu (the only word that fits given the circumstance) is a time warp that had me SMH wondering when I'd wake up. Food you say.... well the restaurants are beyond fine and deliver a cuisine marinating in power from the salads right down to the palette cleansers. Bring me another Brandy and be quick about it. The 1950's potboiler, The Young Philadelphians was filmed here with a barely 30 Paul Newman chewing the mahogany scenery without disturbing one thread on his bespoke tuxedo. I highly doubt a Members Only jacket would have cut it in the Eisenhower decade. Doubtful things have changed much, although now Newman makes a pretty mean Marinara. They had me at hello. Five gilded stars.

While we were waiting for food, I explored the store attached. Very cute flower shop and gift boutique. I'm not sure if they share the same owners? If so they should put a sign above the restaurant side door to advertise the shop. Maybe they can get some shoppers after breakfast/lunch? Back to the food, I had the goat cheese and sun-dried tomato quiche ($16) and it was a little too strongly flavored for me. Normally I love these two ingredients on pizza or in pasta, but this was a lot. For me, needed more egg. It didn't stop me from eating it though! We shared a Brioche French toast ($16) for the table, like an appetizer. It had a peach butter that was interesting. I think next time I want to try a Scrambled egg sandwich ($15) and add sausage patties. ($5) I saw a guy get that and it looked amazing. Now he knows how to order!

My only mild disappoint was the cornbread, as it was a little dry. Admittedly I only picked this restaurant because of the cool greenhouse concept so I had no expectations. They do not take reservations, which is a bummer, but the town is cute to walk around so we didn't mind the 45 minute wait. It is busy for Sunday brunch and it can get a little loud. Overall the vibe is unique, the food is tasty, and the people are nice. I don't know if this is a regular place for me, but I will be thinking of the eggs for a while. Also, like most places in Philly they charge a credit card fee.
