This place is a joke. We called to ask about an estimate for replacing our in-ground pool liner. We also needed someone to come over and figure out why air bubbles appeared every time we turned on the pool pump. The tech showed up and confirmed that he was testing for air leaks in our pump. Then he realized he didn't have the right size gasket for our brand of pump, so he couldn't perform the test. He assured us we wouldn't be charged for the $150 service call. About an hour later, I realized the charge had appeared on our bank statement. My husband called and left a message - but the owner called ME back instead. The guy was a complete jackass to me over the phone. He kept interrupting me and talking to me condescendingly. He also said that anytime a service truck so much as leaves their premises, the customer gets charged for the service call. I asked him why I should pay for a service call when I received no service, and he claimed that nobody had written down the reason for the service guy to come over. Which is ridiculous. (Why would anyone have come over without knowing what we needed them to do? Anyway, the service guy TOLD us why he was there as soon as he stepped out of his truck.) Then, for some reason, he asked me to describe what the service guy looked like. I hung up on him at that point and told my husband to call him. After my husband threatened to complain to the BBB or perhaps even file a complaint for theft, the owner agreed to refund the service charge. He did tell my husband that he was going to take the money out of the service guy's check - which is illegal. If he did, I hope the employee reports him to the cops and the National Labor Relations Board. The owner of Cincinnati Pool and Patio is a dishonest creep. Stay away from this business. read more

This company has to be the biggest hustle in the pool business. The people who work there are rude, disrespectful and dishonest. I was looking for a particular pool manufacture and they told me they carried it. Then tried to substitute a cheaper lower quality brand. I ended up going to Eastgate Pool and Spa. They have been terrific to work with, everything on my want list checked and documented. I would not recommend Cincinnati Pool and Patio, go anywhere else. read more

I'd give it zero stars if I could. I sent in online request to request pricing for pool. The response I received was "under 5,000 to over 30,000". What I was expecting was a call to schedule an appointment with a tech to quote the project. I guess my expectations were way too high. I responded back and said that the online response was one of the worst I've even received. See photos for some fun reading. Needless to say I'll be buying elsewhere. I dropped a pool cover for replacement in June. After many (more than 5) phone calls in September to inquire about the status order, the company was unable to provide an answer or even call back. Finally, 4 months after starting the process, they informed me that the process has not even started because they were unable to contact the manufacturer. I was never notified nor called during that entire time, nor was I able despite numerous attends to talk to the Sales Rep, who presumably could not be reached while on the field. Don't laugh, all of this is true. The only option they offer was to start the process all over again. I don't recall being left in the dark, or being mistreated by a business like this before. A hot mess with the pool liner we ordered from them. The first attempt came up short. Literally because they had to order another one. This was really stressful because we had a big gathering 4th of July and they barely got the 2nd one installed on time. Sadly the story is not over because the out of town contractor they hired did a crappy job and a 3rd liner had to be ordered. Finally, the 3rd liner was put in correctly by their normal crew Nick and Taylor who did an outstanding job. A mixed bag of emotions here Stressed out because the 1st liner didnt get installed until the middle of June. Frustration that I was always calling for updates which was in the range of 30 to 40 times over the summer Crazy how many times I was put on hold when calling They did re-order the 2ea liners paying for that and the labor to reinstall They came thru at the end and installed the liner correctly Darrin at Cincy Pool showed he does care about the customer and gave us a $300 credit off our closing Am I 100% thrilled with them? Probably not. But I will call them again next year to close the pool. read more

Cincinnati Pool and Patio have been life savers for us! We had an unfortunate situation with another company and when we needed help to finish our project and get everything back on track they did everything in their power to help us. They have been very responsive and went out of their way on numerous occasions to answer questions and do everything they could to complete our project. I'm happy to say we are now swimming in a beautiful pool this summer and it is all due to their help. If it weren't for them we will still have a giant hole in the ground with no end in sight. We highly recommend working with them and if we ever need to build another pool this is the only company we will be calling. read more

Ordered a hot tub cover from them. Cover took 6 weeks to come in and didn't fit. Contacted the merchant to make them aware and they said not their problem. I filed a complaint with the credit card company and the owner Rob broke into the backyard and took the cover back like a thug. Police report was filed and they are being investigated. I would not recommend doing business with these crooks. read more

We ordered the hot tub from this company back in July. Were told at the time that if tub was not in stock, it would have to be ordered and manufactured. Was told turnaround time was three weeks. Seven weeks later, we are still waiting for this tub. Once our credit card was charged, no communication whatsoever on status of tub. Called today asking about status, was told they didn't know where the tub was. When asked about shipping from Indiana, was told the tub is coming from Canada not Indiana. We finally canceled the order, and we'll go somewhere else. Horrible customer service. No follow-up whatsoever if her credit card was charged. Don't know how they stay in business. No apologies, no what can I do for you, nothing. Was going to purchase inground pool from them, not anymore. read more

Pool and Spa have have been a tremendous help as a new pool owner. They even helped track down a warranty claim from another pool company that would not return my calls. Every dollar I spend on my pool I will spend with Pool and Spa Warehouse. read more
