By not including any less than complimentary comments a clear picture is not being presented. My mother (and my father until his passing) lived in the Seasons community for 11 years - 9 years at Seasons and 2 years at Courtyard. The years in independent living was tolerable - Courtyard, not so much. The lack of staffing, particularly at night, was very concerning. When you have one nurse on duty and a scattering of aides handling 3 floors of elderly residents, this is makes for a less than ideal assisted living arrangement. Care conferences were never held, repairs requested for her apartment (broken tile in bathroom - possible trip hazard), thorough apartment cleaning as stipulated in lease agreement each took over a year to achieve. Other than an ideal location there is nothing ideal about Courtyard. My mother at age 96 passed away recently and no one in the management of Senior Lifestyle had the humanity to even utter condolences to our family. Concerns regarding the facility were also voiced to the President of Senior Lifestyle in their Chicago headquarters and has also been completely ignored. Would NOT recommend this facility to any family looking for an assisted living facility.

My family was very pleased with my dear mother's stay at Seasons for short term rehab.  From the…read moremoment she arrived until she was discharged, she was treated with the highest level of professionalism and compassionate care.  The facility is very nice, very clean, safe, and we felt very safe with the covid protocol that was in place.  Her room was lovely and everyone was very accommodating and responsive.  All of the staff/administration were very helpful, approachable, knowledgeable, kind, considerate, and went above the call of duty to make my mother's stay a great experience.  We appreciated the friendly and hard working housekeeping staff, food staff, and all of the workers whom we encountered from day to day!  The food was good/prepared well and extra care was taken to ensure I was served meals with regard to my nutrition restrictions.  Heartfelt and special thanks to the Therapy Dept., Nursing Staff/Medical Team and the Social Worker!  They worked tirelessly to provide the highest level of care that we have received anywhere and it was absolutely the primary reason for such a great and successful outcome.  We would highly recommend Seasons to any family looking for great, quality care!

The type of care received physical, occupational and speech therapy was quality care. Her last weekend experience in the facility became a unethical incomprehensible unimaginable experience when patient dumping occurred, patient abandonment and premature discharge (Sunday) with failure to secure an after-care facility before the patient transport to another facility. No proper care plan was completed to secure her next steps for care. The other facility had not received authorization from a doctor at Cincinnati Rehabilitation Hospital. She waited on a stretcher in the front lobby of the other facility for up to an hour only to have the transporter tell us he must take her to the hospital down the street. This caused undue stress, worry, and anxiety for the patient and family. Again, where she laid on a stretcher outdoors inside the patient transport vehicle until we got word to bring her back to Cincinnati Rehabilitation Hospital because the patient was in a state of abandoned.

I was given the daily tools to use for my sobriety. The small group setting feels safe and comfortable along with a staff that is very positive, knowledgeable, supportive and kind. I came to realize that I have a disease...not to be ashamed of. Now that I am an "alumni," I go back once a week for after care as part of the program. I still feel very much a part of the Hotel California Family. This is a unique program that is very different than other intensive outpatient programs in the city. I'm so happy Cincinnati has this available for people who want the freedom of a sober and happy life. The nursing staff and all of the folks we interacted with were calm and pleasant, which made a hard experience better. I stayed the night a few times and was reassured and comforted by several of the staff through the night. The chaplain was also excellent with his input into our family's stay. My grandfather's room was bright, airy, clean, and calming and a stark contrast to the hospital room he was in before. My toddler son also appreciated the playground area that was right outside. The extra touches like coffee, a shower available to use, etc. were extra comforting. I wish the experience of losing a loved one upon no one, but if you find yourself in that situation, I believe Hospice of Cincinnati is a compassionate option.

I walked in the door three days ago with the big thing being learning to deal with having my chest sawed in half and then sewed shut (no metal staples anymore), a scar which will take up to eight weeks to heal and imposes huge limitations on use of your arms. I also walked in convinced that I was going to be really nice to everyone and make this a positive experience, which I'm persuaded enough already is true, so (AT LEAST) four stars.
