I had previously gone to a Foot Solutions in California, so I was excited to find one in Cincinnati. I ended up getting custom orthotics-- though pricey, they have worked out very well, and are worth every penny. I love how they take notes about your foot, gait, etc so they know which shoes to recommend. Of course, not every shoe is the most fashionable, but you can at least get an orthotic to fit into your other shoes. If you have difficulty finding shoes, I'd pay Foot Solutions a visit.

There are toys for the kids, magazines for the adults. Dr. Herbst introduced himself as Jamey and was friendly, approachable, and thorough. He has a great bedside manner and explains things very clearly. The examination room is very high tech! I was amazed at the radiographic device that Dr. Herbst used to examine my foot and, even better, relieved that I wasn't having any major issue. My 91 year old mother was charged for $1350 worth of inserts at this store. She clearly didn't…read moreunderstand what she was being charged for and yet somehow walked out of the store with that charge on her credit card and an orthotic system that seemed way over her head. When she tried to return the product they gave us a difficult time and we had to get the regional manager involved to resolve it. As it stands we were only able to get refunded for $1100 of the $1350 spent, and have been left to absorb the cost of three cushions that are basically unusable without the inserts. I would not recommend this store to anyone after what we went through.
