the waitress was amazing, *however* the food is absolutely disgusting. the prices for the food was horrible. I feel like I tried to pay and they took my wallet ins of the money in my hand, that's how bad the food was. the music was too loud and the bathrooms are disgusting as the floor was sticky and the stall wall was coming off its supports enough that a gentle kick would've knocked it down completely. my girl friend went into the women's and it was almost the same, sticky floors, almost no soap, disgusting porcelain. very expensive for the quality of the food as well as the portion. I ordered a wet burrito and mu girlfriends daughter's tacos were more wet than mine. this experience has shown me that if I'm going to spend money on a restaurant, I'm not going to go to a restaurant that steals the namesake of another beloved place(that they aren't even connected to) and then serve me the same food with cheaper ingredients. We are not from Toledo, we were nearby this restaurant we decided to stopped by. Pictures are nothing like what they serve. Our experience was not the best. Waitress was clueless about the menu asked her what was there special she had no clue. Got the molcajete:/ $22 for a small molcajete with very small amount of shredded meat. Gave us 3 flour tortillas, beans and rice didn't have much flavor. Told us the molcajete came with guacamole but did not give it to us unit we mentioned it to her. The guacamole was dark brown was not fresh looks like it was served days before and just placed in the fridge. Asked for some hot sauce she gave us Cholula bottle. Umm...at a Mexican restaurant. Where's the fresh salsa? Asked her for our check placed our payment method on the table kept walking by our table took about 10min until I got up to ask her to please charge me. Love the food here. We always get the steak street tacos and chips with salsa to go. The food is always ready fast and we always get hooked up! Ask for the green hot sauce. It has the perfect amount of flavor and heat! I dip my tacos in that sauce. Taco Tuesday has never been better! We have eaten in a couple times and the service was pretty good. The workers are very friendly and attentive. It's never really busy when I go inside, but don't let that fool you. This is one of the better Mexican food restaurants around this area. read more

We got delivery via Grubhub. The food was fantastic. We got Burritos Tipicos, Enchiladas Supreme, Mucho Nachos & Queso Dip. We thoroughly enjoyed the nachos and tipicos. The only flaw was my tipicos was supposed to come with a guac salad but there was no guacamole... only sour cream and lettuce. I love a chicken dish where they dump vegetables all over it - seriously! This was the first Mexican place I've seen that honors this dish, allows me to get double rice, and has really good queso dip! (I'm picky) lol the problem I have.. is the consistency. The first time I ordered this dish I LOVED IT. Tomatoes, green peppers, red peppers, and onions covered the chicken, second time I got it they dumped cheese on top of all of it... blah. I'm constantly on the hunt for a good taco joint. I don't care if it's in a random alley somewhere or in the back of a secret society store...I just want a fantastic, authentic, taco. Waitress was impossible to find, and then when we went to pay they told us they no longer accept coupons. We had an Enjoy the City coupon and the waitress said they don't accept any coupons but especially not the Enjoy the City coupons. They should have a sign posted at the door advising of this. This establishment is walking distance from the house and we enjoy there food but you have to check your bill very closely every time you are here. Advertised pricing is not always what you are charged. For the last year we have been charged wrong almost every time we are here. We bring it to their attention and they just say they are sorry that they haven't updated their signs. I have to say, with low expectations, I was pleasantly surprised by this little Mexican food joint. For one, I had one "medium" margarita - that came in a giant fishbowl on a stem - and it got me completely drunk. Sure, it was $7, but when just one does the trick, it's well worth it to me. Also, most meals on the menu are $10, but the portions are huge! And while not authentically delicious like San Marcos, the food was good. The pork was the best I have ever had, and the service was friendly and efficient. I have a new favorite Mexican restaurant in NW Ohio! We finally tried this place and I was blown away by how good it it. Chimichanga is my normal thing at a Mexican place, and theirs is the best I ever had. The chicken has a sauce to it inside, which I hadn't encountered before, and it is excellent, plus the normal sauce on the outside (which is a different kind of sauce), is also excellent. The second time there I ordered something different and it likewise was very good. The service was bad the first time, but good the second. But even if always bad it would be worth it for how good the food is. Like Victor says here, do not get this place mixed up with the Cinco do Mayo on Airport Highway. That place is terrible. Super nice staff. Been here a bunch of times with my wife and have always left happy. Even today my wifes meal was cooked incorrectly and they comped her mea and our drinks, not only did the waiter (who was new) apologize multiple times, the manager made sure to apologize to us. This restaurant is losing its steam. There have been a lot of times when me and my friends are there that the place is dead. The girls that work at the restaurant have taken over the best seats in the restaurant (the ones by the windows at the front of the place) to plug their phone in to charge and roost whenever they're not doing anything. So, that means this nice dining area has become off limits to customers. Uh, your customers are your top priority girls! Me and a friend arrived at this place and asked if we could eat in one of these booths and the girl waiting on us told us that they were theirs to use. Then, on the way out we saw that four old women were ready to be seated. They asked if they could eat in one of these booths. A few of them couldn't walk long distance, obviously. This girl stood firm and said, "No, us girls use those during our work day. Whenever I did restaurant work the employees work never allowed to lounge around in front of the customers out in the main part of the business. Love this place. Food is consistently good. Servers are friendly. But i had a negative experience yesterday / today. I left my RayBan sunglasses on the table when we dined there last evening and when I went back to retrieve them today they were nowhere to be found, in fact they have no real place for the employees to look. The server who was working today just hunted around behind the bar, by registers, etc. and concluded they didn't have them. I remember putting them by the wall in our booth so logically the only person who would have seen/found them would have been whoever cleared the table. Unfortunately we had terrible service for the second time in a row. Our server delivered our meals and never returned to check on us for the rest of the evening. Another server delivered our check to us after waiting over 30 minutes for our server to return to our table.
