I visited Cindy Phan Brows for the first time with a friend who recommended it for the head spa, and overall it was a good experience. I had the Relaxing Head Spa (60 min), and my tech, Diana Do, was good. Both technicians for my friend and I were very tactful, and professional ~ the service itself was definitely 5 stars. The reason I'm giving 4 stars is because the session felt a bit overpacked. There seemed to be many mini processes within the 60 minutes, and while I appreciate the effort to include a lot, it didn't feel as relaxing as I expected. I was hoping for more focus on the head massage for a deeper relaxation experience. Another point is the products used. They use brands like Neutrogena and others, and when they removed my makeup, my skin felt burning and tingling ~ which is unusual for me since I don't typically have sensitivities. I personally prefer and use very clean, organic products, but I understand that would increase the cost beyond the $103 + tip price point. Also worth noting: there is a $40 nonrefundable deposit required, and you must cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours in advance to avoid losing it. A positive experience overall with very good service, but I didn't leave feeling as relaxed as I had hoped, which was my main goal. read more

I've never had a head spa before so when I saw their ad on Facebook, I knew I had to give it a shot. It looked very healthy and revitalizing. I booked with Amy for a 2 hour hair spa. This location is located near Ploy Thai and Dan's Fan City on Brandon/60. Very easy to find with plenty of parking. Upon entering, you are asked to check in via tablet and then choose your service which was a bit difficult for me since it was my first time and there were so many services and names to choose from but found with no issues. Amy came out and was just the sweetest and friendliest. She took her time and didn't rush at all. She was so good at what she did, I wouldn't be surprised if I fell asleep during at all. You are given a facial treatment and hair at the same time. What a treat! They blow dry your hair but definitely not a blow out which was nice so your hair isn't all wet when you leave. I took advantage of a $100 off voucher offer where I put down $100 deposit to get the multidimensional brows done by what looked like a tattoo type machine. The eyebrows alone were around $500. The brows are supposed to last for two years. The shop was clean and overall I thought that it was a positive experience other than the fact that she kept answering the phone and having conversations which worried me because I felt that she was distracted while she was doing something that was going to last for two years on my forehead. She took 3 to 4 different calls, making appointments w/people, having discussions, etc., and it was actually starting to get a little annoying. She made the excuse that her receptionist wasn't in that day. However, then I thought that I might also have her put on eyelashes. Well that did not go very well at all, It was probably A combination of all the worst eyelash stories that people could tell all put together In one experience. So I had her take them off Because not only did they look really bad, but some of my lashes top and bottom were glued together, some of the lashes were actually on the inside of my eyelid, and my eyes were tearing up so bad that I couldn't stop crying.She was quite upset and accused me of "wasting her time ". In all I spent nearly $700 With tip and still payed her For a portion of the bad eyelash job. Fast-forward seven days and nearly all of the color that was etched into my left eyebrow is gone, and I look kind of ridiculous. The right Eyebrow had substantially more color put on it was darker when she did it, so it's not surprising to me that the right eyebrow kept most of its color. However, you can tell from my pictures that nearly all the color has come off the left side, while the right eyebrow still looks relatively good. The 1st single eyebrow pic that looks dark/normal is the right eyebrow. All the others are of the left one. I was a little anxious about contacting her back after the attitude she gave me about the Eyelashes, but I did spend around $700 on this, if I have to go to somebody else then I'll need to spend more money to get them to fixed when she should have really done the job properly to begin with. Update: I contacted her, and there's no guarantee to fix the botch job on eyebrows. Another $200 to fix them. Clearly the $100 off voucher is a scam to get you to come in and then pay $200 afterwards to "touch up" what should've been done correctly to begin with. Don't go here unless you want to potentially throw your $$$ in the toilet & have to go somewhere else a week later & pay again to get them done correctly. The argument that "some people's skin reacts differently" doesn't apply here because it's the same skin on my face and one eyebrow is literally 1 inch away from the other eyebrow. I'm not a genetic mosaic anomaly and I'm not a calico cat. The skin on one eyebrow is the same as the skin on the other eye eyebrow. Geesh.... Anything to get out of responsibility & looking to get the most money out of people for doing the least amount of work. She clearly doesn't stand behind her work either. read more

Ahhhhmazing. I saw Amy for the 90 min super relaxing head spa treatment, aptly named. My eyes were closed in the entirety of the process and I think I may have napped. This service was full on facials, scalp treatments, massages on shoulders etx. I wish I had more details about things but I didn't inquire, I just know that I did, in fact, receive a super relaxing head spa treatment!!! As soon as you walk in, this place is a vibe. You know are headed into relaxation. Not only does this place offer the head spa, they also offer brows services. For my visit, I booked the super relaxing and facial spa ! This service is 90 minutes and includes a facial along side the head spa service! I will say the young woman who did my service left my skin glowing and my hair so shiny and smooth. They even blow dry your hair after your service so you don't leave with a wet head. Had the 90 minute head spa with Mya today and wow what a relaxing and amazing treat! When I go for full body massages, one of my favorite parts is the end where they finish up with the scalp massage so 90 mins of this? Yes please! Disclaimer - it was not 90 mins of the head spa I would say more facial with the head spa incorporated but still really nice. Didn't know what to expect so I wasn't disappointed at all. The products they use smell so good and my hair feels amazingly clean! They also run promotions often I can't wait to go back and do the 120 mins. This service came highly recommended, but I was ultimately disappointed with my results. After two sessions and close to $700, My brows are uneven, in both color and spacing. If you choose to go there, be sure you are very clear about expected outcome and guarantees. Especially of concern , how will microblading (described as machine versus powder) affect gray hair in brows? I expected to be able to forgo brow make-up.
