I've been going to Suji for the past few years and every visit has been consistent in quality and care! She's the best brow professional I've been to and always cleans up my brows very nicely. She's also been perming my eyelashes! My eyelashes are stick straight and don't curl with a normal eyelash curler. The perming treatments leave them curly for at least a month. So I've been coming to Suji now for upwards of 5 years. She is amazing. I usually just get my eyebrows threaded every few weeks, and have always had a great experience. I enjoy how relaxing it is, the special touches she adds like cold stones and a little massage, money well spent. Every time. Recently I decided to consult with Suji about having some skin tags removed. I really trust her work. I mean I trust her with my eyebrows soooo, I'd say I feel good about her work. To give you perspective I drive about 45 minutes to see her, instead of going just anywhere. Anyway; after explaining my concerns about my skin tags, she gave me a price, explained the process and I took some time to consider it and at my next appointment booked an appointment to actually remove them. She never made me feel pressured to book or buy a service that I didn't want or pursue from her. Albeit a little pricey it was pretty quick, maybe an hour at most, and rather easy. The machine is quite small with a thin needle that zaps the skin tag. The skin tags looked pretty ugly once she zapped them, to be honest they looked like fried skin, which I guess it really was. The first day the areas around the skin tags were a little tender especially since it was around my eyes. After the third day all of the tags had fallen off. I waited a few more days to ensure the were actually gone. Sure enough all gone. After about a week, my skin looked normal and had no tenderness or redness. I am ecstatic to have had it done. If I'd known it was going to be so quick and minimal in terms of pain, I would've done it sooner!i read more

I got my eyelash extensions done by Suji about 4 weeks ago. Before I bash this place, I do want to mention that there were definitely positive things about this place. It was very easy and fast to book an appointment via yelp/brow and skin website since this place is run by Suji herself in a small private room located on Lithia Pinecrest Rd. She was very courteous and took her time trying to help me achieve the look I wanted. Since this is a small business of her own, she doesn't have regular work hours - which means she's more flexible with her schedule than other places and doesn't have clients back to back, so it really gives her time to work on lashes (or other things you come here for) thoroughly without rushing. Suji took about 1.5 hours to finish and I actually enjoyed the work she did at first except it felt heavy and a little uncomfortable above my lash line. I'll admit that it looked great on the first day and then started to look very messy the next day like my lashes wouldn't stay in one place, but were facing different directions all over...it was totally out of control. However, I decided to be patient and wait for a few weeks to see how they fall out. As you can see in the photos, I was shocked to have learned that she glued 2 to even 5 lashes at once. This is unacceptable. Remember, you know it's bad when they don't work on your lashes ONE BY ONE. This is a very old way of doing extensions and this will definitely make you lose your own eyelashes like big time. Also, I was right that she did put random lashes above my lash line....umm who does that??? Come on Suji, you should know better and should never do something like this to get your clients upset. That was so unnecessary because not only it made my eyes itchy, but gave me a subtle pain since day 1. Lastly, which eyelash place doesn't offer a lash removal...?! and don't even give a spoolie to take care of eyelashes after the service? I wish I could ask for my money back. Sunji started on time and right away. The salon is a one room salon located upstairs. She was on time and did my Brazilian nicely including buttocks. You do have to hold your skin taut for her. And she gave me gloves to put on so I didn't get wax on my fingers which was nice. Personally I do like the hard wax like at european wax center which she didn't have but I'm so used to waxing that it wasn't bad. She even gave me a mirror to see the final product to make sure I liked it. I also had my eyebrows threaded by her which I thought were awesome. She also finished it off with a cold stone massage. First time with cold stone and I liked it. It was cooling and refreshing. I highly recommend getting the eyebrow threading. Best I've had. read more

Both services were excellent and I plan to return Suji took the time to be certain of exactly what I wanted and during the facial asked if I had any questions about the products. I was referred to this place by a friend of mine. Moving from Florida to D.C., and then coming back home to visit to find a good eyebrow threading place can be hard. I came here and loved it right away! It is located in a nice little suite in a building and the room is very private, so its just you and the person. I got my eyebrows threaded and she did an amazing job. I have sensitive skin, so while it doesn't hurt, I still get red and my eyes get pretty watery. She soother my skin right away and on top of that she takes rocks and gives you like a head massage to calm the swelling and redness then gives you a little neck and back massage. Nothing crazy but a quick 5 minute rub while you are waiting on the eyebrows to calm. This place is amazing! read more

It's very unfortunate that I'm moving because I have been to TONS of eyebrow threading salons over the years and Suji is hands down the best. She takes her time, has a very flexible schedule, and she cares about how your brows are going to look moving forward, so she threads accordingly. She even sells these great Mirabella eyebrow pencils (at a discount) that are hard to find in stores. Her prices are fair, especially with the Groupon, and not to mention she is always very nice. I read the two other reviews and I was excited about this wax, but by the end I was running out of the room. I found Suji on Groupon, which was cool. The one room studio wasn't a problem; it's all in the hustle. Everything looked clean and the soothing music was nice. She uses soft wax and strips, which I was accustomed to even though I prefer the hard wax. This was the most painful wax I have EVER received! It felt worse than my first time three years ago. She would yank the first time then repeatedly try to pull out hair with the same strip. The continuous motion of the yanking of the strip was brutal. I was bleeding so much; I was in shock. When she was finally done she didn't pull stray hairs with tweezers nor did she let me check with a mirror. She made me clean myself up and left wax all over me. I don't know if she only treated me this way, but I will never return. read more

Prior to moving to Florida, I've always get my lashes done! It was a struggle because I tried couple places here in Florida but until I found this place, this is where I always get my eyelashes done now. I like how she does mines, based on my preference. They look so natural that some people would ask if they're real (not extensions). She's also very convenient. It was HORRIBLE!I She didn't even FULLY wax me. Suji tried to tell me a BRAZILIAN WAX is only a basic bikini wax! She refused to wax my behind. She literally left me patchy and hairy! Suji seemed to be like an amateur waxer. I had to do ALL the work. Hold my own skin taut and tell her where to wax! I have never had wax and baby powder all over my own hands! I might as well have paid my own self! I did the work! She was also, WAY to slow on the pull! It was as if she was scared. I actually feel bad for anyone who goes to her for their first wax! OUCH!!
