Legitimately atrocious attitude. Immediately annoyed to see a customer walk in. Requires $10 purchase to even use a card, but charges $0.75 on top of that when you hit $10, and was not very clear about this upfront so she probably gets into arguments about this a lot. Won't give you a box (only paper bags) for donuts even if you get a lot unless you give another $1. Got relentlessly hounded with "Cash or card? Cash or card?" Even when asking for a moment to think about it, like she needed to get the one customer in the store out as soon as possible. Unfriendly as hell. The donuts are better than another nearby shop but they're also more expensive and coming in here makes you feel sincerely unwelcome. Why be like this? I went here last Friday and I just got 4 dollars of things . Donut and a chocolate milk. I was about to pay with card and the cashier was rude and said cash only. I said oh ok where can I go get cash close by and she just ignored me.. just the energy was super bad and unwelcoming. Place needs to update and be more customer service friendly. Never going back . I have lived in manteca for 8 years and I thought I had a go to donut place until today stopped by Cindy's donuts in way home from barber and picked up a fritter, claw and a couple other donuts for the kids, if you like apple fritters and bear claws you need to try Cindy's it was the best that I have had in 20 years, I think I found my new donut spot! Donuts here are soft and delicious. Loving their glazed and chocolate donuts. Not too sweet and not dry. Just soft and yummy. Came here late afternoon and some selection was gone. But I didn't really get to see what new season donuts they have. I guess gotta come back another time. Service is friendly and location is easy to fine. It's next to a Tea Amo and The Pho restaurant. First and last time customers there... we were looking at the menu and the options they had for donuts.. Lady that helped us was very rude.. she looked like she was annoyed the moment we walked in and she kept asking are you guys ready are you guys ready even after I asked her if I could get a min.. my sis left her glasses in the car so she was trying to see everything.... She was so quick to rush us in and out.. I don't understand why we were the only customers in there at the time being... As far as the $10 credit card rule it's ridiculous they still charge you 75cents when you pay with card so so either way they are still not having to pocket out the credit card fee we as the customer are paying for it... read more

Gone here a handful of times. Either not open during posted hours or out of donuts somehow. I am not sure how you can only have 8-10 donuts in the whole shop at 10am. Absolutely insane. I stop by this morning to get a hot chocolate and a donut when I got half way done with my hot chocolate while taking a drink something chunky came out I spit it out and it was a cockroach. We wanted a little more than the basic doughnut selection since our neighborhood doughnut shop has just the basics. We checked out a few other options close by online and decided on Cindy's. Best donuts in town I've never tried a maple bar with bacon. My daughter went to get one for me was a little late but they had maple bars and the person working as actually added bacon to the top like a lot of bacon. Biked into Manteca, CA yesterday earlier than I planned. Didn't want to go to a formal restaurant or try any Fast Food... Donuts was the only choice. Before I entered, an elderly gentleman came out and said... "The Best Donut Shop in town!" Is it? Actually, this is the ONLY Donut place I know of in Manteca. It's pretty hard to evaluate a Donut place that early in the morning... everything should be fresh and soft. So... how do you evaluate this place? Glazed Donut (****) Filled Maple Bar (****) One of a few places that knows how to "fill-up" a Maple Bar with Custard. Some places after they've filled up the Maple Bar looked like something the Cat dragged in... or looked like the Bar had been in someone's pocket for a few hours. Total: $1.95... Pretty Expensive BTW, the "More" in Donuts & More refers to their promotion of Java City products... Expressos, Lattes... not just Coffee, I guess. read more

Stopped in for a coffee at 5 minutes to noon....that was a fail. I shook the coffee carafe and could tell that they didn't have enough coffee brewed for a medium cup. I asked the lady at the counter for coffee. She says there's coffee there, (points to the carafe I just shook) "it's enough to for a medium." So I start pumping into a medium cup...She was wrong. It was okay, I went around noon and the selection was between 12 different donuts (not 12 varieties, 12 individual donuts). 4 donuts ended up costing me roughly $7.50. For donut's this place should probably get two $$. I think the poor result was due to myself showing up at the time I did, and the donuts I got weren't exactly fresh. Nothing crazy unique in taste. I had five different types of donuts to choose from, and of the nine types of bagels on the menu, they only had four plain bagels left. Cindy's Donuts is a fantastic doughnut shop! Fresh every day, and Cindy always has a pleasant smile and attitude. They mostly sell doughnuts and croissants, and have a small selection of bagels, and all of them are awesome! I go in every once in a while, and I'm always treated well... Cindy will often laugh and smile and make jokes with you while she gets your order. I've taken her doughnuts to my workplace, and everyone RAVES about them! I'm always being asked, "When are you bringing more Cindy's doughnuts???" by my co-workers! Two thumbs WAY up for this place! My only wish is that I hope someday she expands her shop to include fresh bread, because that's one bakery I'd pay the premium for! read more

I ordered and paid for 12 dozen donut holes to take to my son's summer camp for his birthday and did not receive 12 dozen. They gave me one pink box full and told me they fit 144 donut holes in one of the boxes. I took the one box to summer camp and the kids barely got to have 2 each, went back and told them and they did nothing to help me. One of the ladies initially told me that only 5 dozen fit in a box, but the other one said that she fit all 144 and told me to go recount them. I will never go here for donuts again!! Got some glazed and sugar twists. Donuts were too soft, kinda chewy, and the dough was a little too sweet, not counting the glaze. Not my type of donut. I like them a little bit more firm, that they don't bend when u grab them, and not so sweet. read more
