They also serve croissant breakfast sandwiches (bacon, sausage, egg, and cheese), which are really good but sell out fast, so it's best to call ahead and order. We tried: -old fashioned in plain, glazed, and chocolate -strawberry glazed - if they don't have any in the case, let them know and they'll make it for you. -glazed donuts holes -cinnamon crumb donut holes - SO GOOD! I just bought a dozen donuts from this donut shop-MX Donuts. Fast, friendly service, fresh delicious donuts, what more can you ask for? I ordered some bacon maple donuts, and instead of bits of bacon sprinkled on top, MX uses 3-4 slices of crispy bacon! :-) Impressive and delish! I would recommend this place for donuts. They have a wide variety of flavors compared to most donut places. The service and the staff is top notch. I talked to a gentleman that I believe may have been the owner, he was very nice and we chatted about how fresh their donuts were. I have been to many donut shops, and I wish this particular one was near my house or on my way to work. You can tell that their donuts are fresh and made everyday in the flavor and how their donuts look. Today the cinnamon sugar crullar caught my eye. The person that helped me told me that they were trying flavor out and he would compare it to a churro. That sounded so yummy that I had to try it. I bought two! It was so soft and scrumptious !!! I'm definitely going to buy that one again! I am usually a creature of habit and my go to is a glazed buttermilk. Sometimes it pays to go out of my comfort zone. Randomly found this place while driving to our destination, and it's our favorite donut shop now. They have sweet donuts, and croissants with Turkey and cheese, eggs, bacon. You can call ahead and they will make it for you. It was very convenient for us since we are out of town. The croissant was not greasy which as absolutely loved. The place is neat and clean. This hole-in-the-wall donut place called MX DONUTS is a place to go to. I just happened to be in the area on Harlan alongside where True Touch Nails and Spa and Mikasa Japanese restaurant. I got half a dozen of mixed donuts. Kanal the young man who assisted me was refreshingly polite. Besides the great light-tasting donuts, I would be coming again to try others and experience this great customer service. Also, ask Kanal for his favorite donut he said it's so good for sure I will be back. I believe this is the only donut shop in Lathrop. The guys here are nice and helpful. I made a few orders of specific items and nothing to complain about. FYI they charge a fee when you use a card so try and bring cash. I also want to say the their French Kruevers don't look like regular French cruisers but they are so good!! I was really hesitant looking at it because it didn't look right but it taste great! After a few days at home I would say the next next day put em in the fridge and pop it in the microwave when ready and it still taste good. The price is reasonable. They use Palm olive oil and for some reason my child is allergic to it. Unsure why but it's a peanut allergy and they say it maybe because some of their donuts have peanuts as toppings on it. They are always busy so the parking lot is too but you will definitely find a spot because people are always in and out over here. Food stop area this place is and a mix of it. This place is a swing and a miss. Yelp has their hours listed as closing at 2pm on Saturday. I swung by at 1:30 and the lights were off, place vacant. They were loooong gone. No hours posted on the door. Decided to give them another shot and stopped by Sunday morning at 5am. All they had were basic donuts. No jelly rolls. No fritters. No bear claws. These guys opened up at 4am and an hour later they still didn't have specialty donuts available seriously?! It was a Sunday and the place was empty. I asked how long it would be for some apple fitters and they said 5 min, but when the lady asked what else I wanted and I said just the apple fritters she said it would be a while. Huh??? Folks if you like donuts I'm sure you've heard of Mr. T's. I've been spoiled by them being open practically 24 hours ( I think they close from 2am-4am). Mr. T's donuts are hard to beat and worth the drive. Lesson learned. read more

My family has been going to MX for probably 10 years now, and the quality has always been amazing. I always remember getting them on my birthday as a morning treat. These are classic, no-frills donuts sure to satisfy! I moved to the east coast (where the donuts are trash), & I have really missed the classic "cardboard box" donuts that I can't find anywhere here.
