I have been getting my hair cut since I was 20, now.....26 years later!! She is the best hairstylist and cutter ever. She has a nice staff who do other things but if you want a professional beautiful haircut that is fast and amazing....go to Cindy. She has been in lovely Tiburon for years. She plans to stay there but she will relocate her shop about 2 blocks away in July of 2011, but she still will be in Tiburon and still be the ONLY hairstylist I see. Cindy has cut my hair twice now and I am about to book a third appointment. She gives a beautiful short cut on my wavy hair and best of all it is very flattering. The most awful experience I've had with anyone anywhere. For a 50 dollar haircut, it took her 7 minutes to cut my hair which is unacceptable. She didn't even cut the sides correctly as they were uneven. Her poor and angry attitude made it more unbearable. I have no experience in cutting hair but I probably would've done a better job. I would rather use my 50 dollars on groceries than with Cindys Hair Studio. read more

Not sure where the other ratings came from but we had 3 very poor experiences today. $75 for a 20 min wash and dry that was very poor quality. You would expect great service and something really nice. I highly recommend going somewhere else that cares more about quality and service. read more

Not happy. I asked her to take of an inch of below the shoulder hair with a few layers. She cut my hair several inches and didn't do any layers. I asked if she could fix it and ten seconds later it was too late. She cut off more than three inches and now I have a very nice man's cut. It is a good cut but it will take forever to grow out. read more

My husband came home with the best haircut of his life. I said "what mall did that?" He said that he had finally decided to get a haircut from a proper stylist and not just spin in another chair from a chain. Then I sent my two daughters, and they both got beautiful cuts for their long hairstyles. I was still reluctant and I am far too picky, but my daughters' haircuts grew out so nicely. They went back for trims after that because a good haircut is easy to follow. Even after all the evidence, I sent in my best friend who is a Navy veteran. He is very lazy and needed a cut that was zero work. Now, he looks 20 years younger with a very modern undercut. He got a military discount too I heard. Finally I took my daughter in again for a summer cut and Cindy (the owner) turned to me and said "when is it your turn?" I told her I just didn't want to do it. I would just rather put up in a ponytail. But she said "we will just take a look at the ends and see what to do." That's just what she did. I couldn't believe she could work her magic on my hair. The next day my neighbor/friend really admired my cut, so I recommended Cindy's. Cindy is not too expensive, she works fast, and she is highly skilled. That is why I am giving her a full 5 stars. 5 stars from each of us would be a 30 star review, and they don't have those. read more

I npw live in San Diego, CA but in the 80s and 90s my good buddy Cindy is the only stylist i would evet let touch my hair and once she even convinced me with an awesome outcome to put blonde highlites in my sandy brown hair at the time. I wish I still lived close enough for Cindy to style my hair. Not only a great hair stylist but to thos day her incredibly positive vibe was contagious wherever she was. Any one star or negative reviews i imagine are rare disgruntled or sabotage reviews that happen toe and many businesses i consult. I would listen to the majority 4-5 stars.
