This is my new favorite cinema. I used to drive all the way to the AMC at Orange Park mall. I had the loyalty membership and went often on discount days and morning matinees when they weren't crowded. My three boys and I had the run of the place. But then we stopped going through the covid shutdowns and switched over to this closer cinema afterwards. Love them for the same reasons. Newer, cleaner. better service. The loyalty discounts on admission aren't nearly as good with Cinemark, but it's much closer for me and has some better food options nearby for the pre- or post- movie meals. The family is older and has more opinions on the meals and the venue. read more

This is a great theater for so many reasons but I have been going here for 6 years and the main women's bathroom ALWAYS SMEELS BADLY OF URINE. No matter what day of the week. Use the hallways bathrooms as they do not smell. This theater has every kind of theater or entertainment arena type food that you could want. They even have Korean hot dogs but $12$!! They do a good job keeping everything else clean but the WOMENS BATHROOM NEAR THE EXIT. The young adults and teenagers who work here do a really great job. They're polite and sweet and kind.. I highly recommend the Korean fried chicken Nextdoor and then they really healthy place on the other side of that plus the gyros and salad A deputy was recently added because of the spiked Rick kids who live in the area who think they can do what the hell rhey want. Can you imagine a deputy sheriff has to be here in a very wealthy area? Because of rich kids? The deputy said that parent just come here and drop off their tweens and up and then when they get into mischief, they call and their parents are drunk and they can even come pick them up., There's always a pack of teen boys at the Walmart in the next plaza, running around like idiots in the store and on the sidewalks. They're loud and obnoxious and think this whole plaza is their playground and yeah, they're probably about 16.. There's no cops at the Cinemark in Orange Park. I'm sure.. You'll see kids as young as 11 years old just running a muck in the parking lot anywhere in the Durbin pavilion parking lot We are regulars here. I highly recommend the theater. read more

I haven't gone to the movies much the last few years but I am always thrilled to come here and get comfy in a reclining heated chair and watch a good movie. The snacks are good. The seats are good. The service and the shows are always good. It makes going to the movies a pleasure again and I love reserved seating and that I can swing in right at the start time, grab my snacks which of course I've pre-ordered, and just explore a different world for a couple hours. read more

Definitely my favorite movie theater in the Jacksonville area! It is always clean... from the lobby, to the bathrooms, and the theaters themselves! The seats are comfortable- large, reclining, and can also be heated (which is a very nice treat during the record cold temperatures outside). The popcorn is always tasty. You can add as much or as little butter as you prefer. There are a variety of other food options as well such as pizza and chicken tenders. You can even indulge with a milkshake or a cocktail! I love that they serve coke products and especially coke icees!! Also, it wouldn't be a theater without a large selection of candy to choose from. Of course I think all movie theater candy is overpriced but it's part of the experience. I especially appreciate the ease of purchasing tickets online and having the opportunity to select your seats ahead of time! It certainly alleviates the stress of worrying about being able to seat your party together and gives you the ability to pick the exact seat you want. We took my wife and our 16-year-old to Cinemark to watch the new Avatar, and wow--ScreenX is no joke. The 270-degree panoramic setup with the main screen plus the two side screens made us feel like we were basically inside Pandora. At one point I wasn't sure if I was watching a movie or if Jake Sully was about to ask me to pass the popcorn. Speaking of popcorn: excellent. The pepperoni pizza? Surprisingly legit for movie theater food. And the soda options--so many choices it felt like a soft drink buffet. Major win. The atmosphere was super comfortable. The air wasn't freezing (thank you, Cinemark, for not turning the theater into an Arctic survival test), and the recliner seats were perfect. Even for a long movie like Avatar, we were comfortable the entire time. No back pain, no seat shifting, no regrets. Now, full honesty: there were a few slower parts where you could tell some people were this close to falling asleep. Not because the theater was boring--but because it was that comfortable. If you doze off for a minute, honestly, that's on James Cameron. Overall, fantastic experience. Great food, great comfort, and ScreenX alone is worth the trip. We'll definitely be back--hopefully for something a little shorter... or with caffeine next time. read more

I love everything about this theater. Tickets were easy to buy online, and it was very clear where the reserved seats were located. The concession stands are the largest I've ever seen in a theater of this size, and have just about every item you could possibly imagine. There are lots of parking spaces available within easy walking distance of the entrance as well as a pickup and drop off line for those who may be getting a ride. Once inside the theater itself, the seats were comfortable, reclining and lumbar heating was available. The screen was bright, the sound was clear, and the theater was clean. The surrounding area to the theater is quite safe, and there are lots of restaurants and shops in the surrounding area. Staff was all friendly and prices for the tickets are consistent with other theaters in the area. Great experience. read more

Went to see the new Trolls movie at this location. Pro Tip: Be sure to purchase your tickets online, instead of having to wait at the kiosk to purchase at the location. We did wind up purchasing a few snacks...popcorn and an icee. I will say it's been a bit since I bought food at the movie theater and it came to over $13 for one icee and a small bag of popcorn. In hindsight, I'll eat before I go. I do like the fact that you can choose your actual seats when purchasing your tickets. The movie theater was clean, which was great. The bathrooms were also super clean. The best part (IMO) are the seats. Not only do they recline, but they also are heated, which was a great feature, especially for people like me who tend to get cold easily. I did fall asleep during the movie...it wasn't the content or story that put me to sleep, it was the seat. read more

This is the nicest movie theater I've ever been to. Many small theaters (12) Heated power reclining seats that reverberate with the action. The heated seats really feel great on a sore back. The seats and rows are nicely spaced out so you can talk to your group without disturbing others sitting around you. The drink holders are large enough for their largest drinks. There isn't a bad seat in the house and you can pick your seat well in advance. The snack bar isn't your Daddy's movie theater snack bar. Meaning it's actually really good with fresh popcorn. You can also ordered food delivered to you if one chooses. This theater also serves alcohol for the adults. The first time I've seen that. I havn't tried the cocktails yet but next time I'll remember to have one or 2. Incredibly happy to have a movie theater this nice this close to home. All we need now is better movies. Came to see Wicked. Have been to this theater 2 times now and have enjoyed my experience both times. I would give it a 4.5. They are quick with the concession lines when busy. The workes are friendly. I love that each seat has its own table. Makes it very convienient. Thwir popcorn and Icee was delicious. The bathrooms were a little dirty and the drink stations were also messy. That would be my biggest complaint. Other than that it was a great experience. read more

We went to an early show tonight of A Working Man. We purchased the XD seats which provide motion with the movie. The truth is I've done it once I can check it off my to do list. It was ok but maybe not worth the extra for the ticket. While this is a beautiful theater the popcorn was a bit stale. The sound and visual was top notch. The early show was surprisingly empty. I'm think 20 or so were in the theater for opening day of this show. read more

Cinemark in Durbin is a nice theatre with plenty of parking. However, It's not as easy as it used to be to park because there are so many more businesses in the shopping center. On the plus this means there are lots of dining choices before or after a movie within walking distance. Our tickets were purchased online so we didn't have to rush as our seats were already reserved. Speaking of seats, the seats are super comfy. They not only recline they have 3 levels of heat. It actually was chilly in the theatre so I took advantage of the heated seat. There also is a table attached to each seat with a place for your drink. We didn't purchase any snacks this time because we had just eaten dinner. Pro tip : Tuesdays are discounted movie day so it gets sold out early best to book in advance for Tuesdays & weekends. read more

I was with a large group so had to go with the flow and didn't get pics, but this theater is brand new and so everything is clean and neat. The refreshments' prices are high but that's true now in just about every cinema. They do have wine, as well as traditional snacks. The seating is very comfortable--recliner buttons and a seat warmer. (I didn't realize that mine was on and then couldn't see how to turn it off but finally found the button! LOL) This is fairly near my new living area so I imagine I'll be coming back often! read more

Having a theater in this area is a great thing and this place still looks shiny and new! There are reclining seats with a foot rest and extra leg room between the rows. There is also a heated seat button if you're feeling chilly in the theater, which is nice. I like the idea that they have areas in the halls to empty your cups so leftover drinks or ice doesn't end up in the trash. The snack bar is sufficient with the typical theater items (no extras and/or unique items), the restrooms are plentiful and there is plenty of parking. You can buy your seats in person, on line or use the app. Regardless of how you purchase your tickets, there is assigned seating. They also have a rewards program. In addition, you can rent out an entire theater room for a private showing. Plus, when you purchase your tickets in advance you can also order your food for pick up upon arrival or they will deliver it to your seat for a small fee. The downside is when you are watching your movie and there is a quiet spot in the movie (for the lack of a better term) you can hear the theater next to you...it's not the best soundproofing. I found it to be slightly distracting at times when I could hear the other theater. read more

Their popcorn at this spot is always made well & not too salty. Two separated bathroom areas decrease traffic at exit often experienced at other theaters. We've started going to this location instead of the one in the middle of Jacksonville because it is a little less crowded. This is a growing area though, so I'm sure it won't stay that way for long. However, due to the pandemic, it's not worth to maintain our membership as there are limited new movies that are being released and we also moved near Durbin! So here we are at Cinemark! First of all, it's quite new so the movie theater we went into and the carpet looked very clean! I love the seats! It's big, has a recliner and table for your food! The best part??? Each seat has a heater!! I loved it! And of course I had to use it! It was awesome! Perfect for my lower back pain! It turns off after a few minute so you have to turn it on again. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and I can't wait to go back! Now, if only more new films will be showing soon! read more

Love this movie theatre but I have to tell you until Friday we had never seen a movie we didn't like . I have a 5 year old grandson so we go quite often . On Friday tho we saw Peppa Pig . It was said to be a movie at movie prices but it was nothing more then episodes of Peppa Pig put together. I could have saved 25.00 and watched U Tube . Very disappointing and yes I always read the trailer but this was nothing but lies . Keep your money and watch UTube . read more
