Excellent movie theater - I didn't purchase any concessions, but the popcorn smelled fresh, and my seatmate enjoyed a personal pizza during the movie. Tickets were easy to purchase online in advance. Discounts are automatically applied to early matinees. Seats were comfortable and sound was good quality. There was plenty of parking available, even during the opening weekend of Spiderman. Once inside the facility, the large lobby houses video games, air hockey, etc. Service was of high quality from all staff. Overall great experience. read more

Not a bad theater by any means, but I still prefer the Orange Park mall location simply because it's closer to home. The seats here are very comfortable and recline farther than I'm used to, which I really liked. The popcorn and snacks were fresh, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout the visit. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience. If you live closer to Fleming Island, it's definitely a good option, but for me, Orange Park is still my go-to location. read more

First ever five star review for a movie theater but everything about our experience went right. I purchased our tickets online and was the first time ever that I was texted a code and I was unsure what to do with it. The girl at the counter, can I see it type it into her system with a smile said you're all set and handed us printed out tickets. I usually dread the snack counter. Here the line moved quickly , the girl at the counter gave us a couple options and told us the specials no one ever does that! We didn't have to wait forever for what we ordered either. This movie theater has standard IMAX and 3-D theaters. We saw a movie in 3-D. The theater was clean., I loved the reclining chair. I could've fallen asleep. There were some previews, but not as many as the other movie theaters in the area. This was our first time there and this will now be our go to theater. read more

So I lost my ring in the bathroom trash can and was really anxious about getting it because I couldn't find it so one of the workers came in and dug through the trash can, found the ring, and washed it off for me while also being super nice. He was also telling me about his experience losing rings in public areas as well; overall this person is the coolest ever. His name is Kade, although im not sure how it's spelled. Our family loves coming to this AMC theater. Located right on the Island, the theater is always clean, the snack selection is plenty and well stocked, and the reclining seats are incredibly comfortable. Parking is close and safe late nights and it's never an issue finding a spot, which is a big plus. Depending when you go, the concession lines can be quite long, especially during peak times. However, the employees here are really fast, friendly and efficient and I've always gotten my drinks and snacks with plenty of time to spare. Just come prepared... That said, I highly recommend purchasing the AMC Stubs A-List membership. With its many benefits, including free movies, online reservations, and priority lines, it's a great value for frequent moviegoers. This theater is a great local spot with a friendly and attentive staff. The popcorn is always fresh, and the theater and concession areas are always clean and well-maintained. I love coming here and enjoy the freebies earned and $5.99 refill popcorn with my annual AMC plastic popcorn bucket (~$25 initial investment) every time I visit. Worth it. read more

Went to see the movie Wicked! One of my all time favorite musicals. Movie did not disappoint. Definitely worth a "see" on the big screen. When you go see it - you will know why. Performers - incredible voices. The theater was clean and counter attendants helpful. Popcorn - always a must (get the bucket for free refills - not sure if you have to be an AMC member). For years, I have been attending this theatre to view some of the most iconic and/or newly-released movies! Here is the skinny.... Screen/audio are brilliant and outstanding, popcorn is always fresh, it has a super location next to shopping & restaurants, and prices are average. Some items that are hit or miss are the attentiveness of staff memebers and cleanliness within the theatres (examples: trash left in the drink holders and overflowing trash cans). read more

This has actually become when of my favorite movie theater's. While it only has 12 screens, it always has what I want to see and has multiple showings. The food is usually pretty fresh which is a plus and they have all the standard treats and beverages. The parking is great! When I go alone at night, I feel safe walking to my car which I can't really say about the AMC at the mall. They have upgraded theaters but there is no imax and I don't think 3D but that is perfectly fine with me. My only issue is that it's confusing when you walk in. Sometimes they don't have anyone scanning tickets and you have to find someone or go to concessions to have them scan your ticket which is a little odd. read more

There's nothing "Bad" about this movie theatre and we like going to see movies here. However, I went here yesterday to pre-buy tickets for the new Downton Abbey movie and was clear that I wanted the 2:45 p.m. showing on today/Friday. Since I need to reserve a handicapped seat for Dennis, it's good to get the tickets ahead of time. Here is the snafu I encountered--the staff member sold me 11 a.m tickets. I had no clue, so of course we didn't go. When we showed up this afternoon, we turned our tickets in and we're told that the movie would be in Theatre 1. We waited outside the door for the previous audience to leave. It became 2:45 and no-one had left. I went back to the concession stand to discover that the Theatre 1 movie had started at 2. There was lots of confusion but it ended up okay--they reissued tickets for the 2:45 showing (Theatre 9) and Dennis and I made it in time to see all of it, and also had a handicapped seat for him. Whew! I thank the staff for working through all of this but I still wonder why it happened! Tip: Check your tickets for accuracy even if you're really clear about the time and day you're asking for! read more

Bought tickets in advance, but we still had to wade through the slowest concession line in the history of cinema to check in. TSA is faster. I have went there twice this week! They had friendly staff. Was holy when they recognized that I was a A-lister member. The seats need to be updated as some had cracks in the pleather. But all in all the seats were comfy. Everything started on time! Speakers were in good condition! Pleasant experience! And I got my popcorn bucket! I didn't put my popcorn in it! The last few years of renovation have really brought this theater into the present day expectations for movie watching. I love that you can order your tickets and pick your seats online, prior to going to the theater. This makes for the experience much smoother and you can avoid getting there early to make sure you have a seat. Concessions can also be preordered online however I have found the wait for them to still be significant once arriving. read more
