They keep getting better. The facilities are cleaner, the staff is fantastically friendly. My family feels completely safe whether daytime or the evenings. Management is often seen checking on things. My only negative was the change of menu in Studio Eats. It seems like they are trying to be fancy. They have so many options it causes a longer wait time and the food has become more expensive. I use to eat here every time I came but I no longer eat there. read more

I love coming to this theater but I've noticed a couple things that could be improved. The concession area is usually kind of dirty. Popcorn/trash on the floor, or dried up spilled drink. This should be fixed please! Also a couple visits I've noticed it's hot inside the theater. I was sweating. Please get back on track with these things and I'd leave a better review. Time to fix your sits ! ! !! Broke and just about laying in persons lap behind me I sat through a three hour movie the Odyssey just about laying in someone's lap. The seat next to mine also as well. The theater needs some refresh for sure. I don't mind that but the service is slow. When you get to the popcorn and only 1 person working, that's insane. The worse part is the inconsiderate patrons who just can't shut up during a movie. What happened to ushers? I left my movie to complain and they said sorry. Came here to see Marty Supreme in theater 20. This theater has the old school seats which aren't as comfortable for a 2.5 hr long movie. It activated my sciatica for a few days which was a bummer. The screen & projection were nice still and I'm sure there's some theaters that have more modern seats so I'll have to come back and hope I get a nicer theater next time. read more

Been coming here since I was a little girl ! & I will say it's one of the best theatre's !!! The studio eats and the arcade make this theatre stand out than the other ones that I've been too in northern Cali. Yes others you can order food while you sit but it's the Starbucks and ice cream and food that you have here that just make it better! & I love the open big space as soon as you walk in. read more

Theater is too nice for the area it's in, love how recognizable it is - we call it the Titanic theater. it's my favorite one out here even if it doesn't have recliner seats like the Palmdale one. I like that it's bigger and has a bunch of auditoriums on both sides of the main lobby feels like an actual big theater, we need more of that. I enjoy coming here and staff have been nice and accommodating over the years unlike the Palmdale one, hope it stays this way, They were nice enough to let me take my small dog with me and we had a great time. The IMAX theater is my favorite! Theater auditoriums could use some renovations, get it up to speed like the Porter Ranch amc but given the area that might not happen. Arcade could be expanded/updated a bit imo + it's time for recliner seats! Needs more fun neon lighting and a deep clean. read more

I have lived in Lancaster my whole life. Never had a problem at this theater. I only go a few times a year. EVERY SINGLE time I've been there this past year I've had severe food illness after eating their popcorn! And not just me my family and friends complain of the same thing! Something is terribly wrong with their "butter" or something because I KNOW for a fact it's from this theater and from eating popcorn. They need to be reported to the health department I can't believe more people haven't complained of this! read more

Got here to sit my son and dad down and circled back around to the concession stand as I saw it was busy. Currently been waiting 45 minutes for what will amount to two sodas a popcorn and a pizza. This has been my go to movie theater because of the great customer service, cleanliness, comfortability in the movie theater and the employees going out of their way to ensure I had a great experience. With that said, I want to give a huge shout to Caleb! That man immediately greeted my family and I with a huge smile. Not only that but he was very professional when it came to taking my order. The reason why I'm giving him 5 stars is because the only beverage my mom drinks at this movie theater is vitamin water and unfortunately it was not in the cooler. When I asked Caleb if they had any he immediately went to the back and searched for it. Long behold he found one and I was enthused to see him go out of his way! I've been coming to this movie theatre for years & enjoying the snacks & movies however I came 2/15/26 and they no longer have pretzel bites which were a huge hit for everyone jn my party. They also got rid of the buffalo sauce for the chicken strips! The new menu is ridiculous don't get me wrong I love food but taking off the essentials to add a kimchi hot dog?? Today I went to this movie theater with my siblings and we were harass by a manager I believe she was named Myra. An other employee was helping us didn't catch his name and he started asking if we had id because we were watching a rated r movie three us did and the rest didn't we were then helped by Myra who right off the bats gave us attitude she proceeds to ask my siblings that were not over 17 were is their id they say the don't have any she says they cant go in because they need a legal guardian or parent then my brother's and I say but "we're 18 and 19s and their siblings can they come in with us ? " she then says " she need to see our LEGAL documents " mind you i was wearing a Mexican flag t-shirt . One of my brother then says " this is ridiculous we payed for our tickets and this is not the first time this has happened " Myra then tell my brother that we can get a refund or get other ticket for another movie and that if this has happened twice already we should already knew mind you the first time we got kicked out of a place because of age was in six flags which we tried telling her but she kept talking over us . We then start walking our way to the exit but stop to ask for her name which she then says " Myra and come back when your older " and walks off which my brother then says " come back when you lose that attitude " which she then turns around and says come back " when you have LEGAL documents " and tell the cops to kick us out. Location is aging, and it shows. Could use a good clean through from a professional if I'm being completely honest. Prices are typical for a theater that survives on concession sales. They IMAX theater is kept modern, and the seats are comfortable. Have always had a great time with every visit. The addition of the Starbucks area is one of the best additions they've made. The only way they could make this theater better would be a full service bar. But hey, this is still the best theater in the area. read more

Growing up in the Antelope Valley, I remember a time where there were a number of option to view a new film, a total of four theaters I can remember operating through out my childhood movie education. Like all too many American towns... the family owned theaters have been consumed by the corporate giants AMC and Cinemark. I was in high school when this theater opened, there was a short-time at the end of my childhood where this theater had a decent arcade, films that told a great story, people still had some sense of decorum, in a place some Americans consider sacred... ...but those days are gone. Today, this once great family fun location is now serving alcohol. To think, Lancaster is a "conservative" town... so, there are no cannabis dispensaries accessible, but you can drink alcohol at the movies... ...the theaters, a place you are only going to be for 2-3 hours, alcohol is served. That seems like the perfect amount of time needed to drive unsafely. I highly appreciate that a lot of young people are employed in this theater. The staff gives effort, but the "lazy high school" troupe exists. Of course we all know they would give their best if they were given equity... but no one reading this believes Cinemark would convert to a cooperative. There is mucho parking and EV charging, it would be dope if the parking lot had solar in the parking lot so the paint on my vehicle isn't baked off in the high desert's surface of the Sun like weather. The prices are affordable, especially if you join the Cinemark rewards club. At some point the cafe area franchised PIZZA HUT at the cafe, and the French fries with seasoning salt deserves an OSCAR. My biggest and most searing criticism is that Cinemark doesn't give refills on anything... ...ICEES, understandable. ...Nachos and Hot Dogs, would be dope, but not sustainable. But popcorn!? Fountain drinks!? How long was Avatar 2? I found this out after purchasing a collectors bucket, remembering how they came with free refills or at least a discounted price. The current arcade is trash and overpriced. The upgraded theater experience option is a shameless underwhelming cash grab... ...the money would have been better spent on ushers on upgrading every theater to leather reclining temperature controlled seats. There is nothing spectacular about this company, but they've eliminated the competition... ...so, they're the only show in town now. Thank you capitalism and the "free" *wink,wink* market. ...there use to be drive in theaters in this area. America, we had a good run. If you cannot escape Lancaster, California... and you care very little for the movie going experience, but simply want to shovel some money into corporate coffers, check out Cinemark Lancaster IMAX and SCREENX (that's so dumb, it sounds like porn). I wanted to make you all aware of just how anti-autism Cinemark 22 in Lancaster is. We went this evening to watch the new Beetlejuice movie and my younger son who is autistic was enjoying the movie to where he started to stim. We purposely picked the seats near the the handicap area where he can stand but not take away from others with disabilities. I have never had an issue before at this theater. Their manager Myra I believe her name is and I am including her picture for you all to know too. She was unprofessional and mocking us about how she would post about us too. She didn't care about my two autistic sons starting to melt down due to the treatment they received. She taunted us about how they don't care about refunding us since her quote was "our showing is sold out so we will make our money back" I tried to explain to here when she said I should come to the special viewings that they are during when I work or am at church plus they are usually more so for the sensory sensitivity and I don't want to take away from those who need that showing. Myra also told my husband that she was waiting for our son to stim again or stand to kick us out. Mind you the child stimming was barely 40 inches tall about so he wasn't even obstructing anyone's view. I am cancelling my subscription for cinemark as well. read more

After over a year of not going to the movies because of the pandemic, I was happy to hear that they were going to open them back up at certain locations. I decided to go watch Godzilla on the big screen because that movie is a must watch with Dolby atmos surround sound speakers and the extra large IMAX screen. We purchased the tickets ahead of time, you have to preselect your seats which was nice because you don't have to hurry to find seats. When I walked into the main lobby the smell of popcorn brought back lots of wonderful memories. The theater looked extra clean and all employees were wearing masks. We ordered popcorn and a drink, you have to tell them if you want butter on it or not (butter dispensers are no longer available). Also, there is no longer an option for you to get free refills on any of the refreshments so make sure you order extra if you usually get refills. A couple of things that also changed because of covid are that you have to watch the movie with only the members or your household. Also, every group of family was seated very far apart from each other to maintain a safe distance. Overall I had a good experience coming back to the movie theatre and would like to watch more movies in the future. read more
