    Movie theater

The smell of popcorn and pepperoni filled the air as we walked in. I bought tickets via the kiosk inside. As a first timer here, it was a little nonintuitive to figure out where to buy tickets since no one was manning any counter outside or inside. The movie theater seats were super comfortable and very plush with fully reclining chairs and footrests. I liked that the wall behind the chairs was very high so you couldn't see or hear anyone sitting behind you. The sound was a good volume (not too loud like some other theaters). Would definitely come back here again!

No real knocks, it's showing some signs of aging in the seating areas, but are still clean. The concessions are stocked and have more than one person present. It's like most modern movie buildings, split up smaller rooms to show more movies. Not like the huge theater type of the 50s, 60s, and 70s. Plenty of parking outside and the restrooms were clean. Last word...shush!

Last weekend, we took our toddler to his first movie! I haven't been to this theater for YEARS but the special release was limited to a few theater initially. There is plenty of parking in the shared shopping center. Walking in, the lobby was much smaller than what we're used to but it still had the standard concession stand needs. My husband got our tickets out for them to scan and we got to our movie. The chair was nice and big and they reclined! The screen and sound were clear so we didn't have any issues.

I enjoyed coming to this theater for the first time on a mid-week afternoon. Cinemark Mesa 16 is located near my home at Mesa Riverview. It is sort of hidden toward the back of the shopping center near Bass Pro Shop. The theater is smaller than most, but it is nice and clean. The rows are very spacious with relaxing lounge seats. Every Tuesday at Cinemark is Discount Tuesday where they offer cheaper prices. Matinee movies are also discounted. I ordered my tickets online ahead of time to save myself from waiting in line. Cinemark Mesa 16 plays all the new movies plus some old favorites. I didn't order any food or snacks this time. I did notice on their menu that if you order an extra large popcorn, you can get a refill on the same day.

Ample movie options, classic widespread design and a few tables for lounging to the right when you first walk in which would make it easy to make some friends while waiting for your movie. Games and food options for plenty, definitely a great stop for a midday movie. Felt like a more casual vibe.

Trap.....M. Night Shyamalan, don't let us down...

Had a movie night and we went to see the new M. Night Shyamalan movie, Trap. I'll hold back my thoughts on it....all I'll say is this: Deadpool is soooo great!!! I've been to this Cinemark plenty of times, but this is the first time I've selected a seat on the top row (all other seats were taken). So you are aware, if you recline back (which that's their purpose...recline) there's a half-wall right in front of you and limits the view of the screen. It was so disappointing. Outside of that, the AC was blowing, the customer service was on par, and the snacks were flowin'! The only thing that saved the night was the company I was with...we had a great time laughing at it all! On a scale of 1-10, I'll pick a different row to sit in next time :)

Love that you can be apart of their movie club! Wish they had more choices in Az other than this location. Parking is easy, they even have EV stations to charge. I only saw 2. As you walk up there is a window to pick your movie and seats. I usually do it on the Cinemark app. Which is quick and easy. They have a great snack stand and options to choose from. The pizza is usually a hit! As my guest and I walked down the hall to check in, we were greeted by Fernando! Our theater was on the right all the way down. Once we got to our seats we reclined back and enjoyed our movie! There is a movie tray that can hold your snacks and drink. The restroom was clean and easy to find! Wish they had more movie selections playing cause I would be here every weekend. Amenities in the theater are Cinemark XD, Luxury Loungers, mobile ordering, delicious food & beverage options, including dine-in restaurants and seat-side service in select locations. Perks: Movie Club memberships are also available for a low monthly fee. Members enjoy a monthly ticket credit, 20% snack discount and other exclusive benefits. Movie Club Platinum, an earned tier of the program, bigger benefits, like a 25% discount on concessions.

This is my favorite theatre to go to because it is not as massive as the other chains. Less people less lines comfortable seating with plenty of leg room and reclining chairs. some theatres have little tables built in to the seats arm rests and other do not. The concession stand serves both alcoholic beverages and your regular nonalcoholic. I definitely recommend joining their movie club if you go to the movies even 1 x a month because for your monthly fee you get 1 ticket, 20% off on concessions, extra tickets at discounted rates, no service fees when booking online and you earn extra points too. I love the fact that you can rent the theatres out for family functions and Birthdays, we did this 1 time and everyone loved it! The theatre is older it has a cozy been here feeling vs. a modern fresh look and I do prefer this. Bathrooms are always clean and staff is always available to help.

What a nice, clean and well maintained theatre. We spent the day in Phoenix recently for some doctors appointments and was able to get away to watch a movie at this Cinemark location. This theatre was tucked away in a shopping center and we felt like the only people there. The smells of the freshly popped popcorn were good. Using the Cinemark APP to purchase our tickets was a breeze. That was our first time coming here and well be back in the future.

It's really fun to go out to Mesa on Saturday morning and see an opera from New York City. That's what happens at this theatre on some Saturdays. It's live from New York City, digitally piped in and it's so interesting. We saw Romeo and Juliet and it was great. We could see the audience, the backstage preparations, interviews with the performers, etc. It's not very crowded, either. I highly recommend this experience and I plan to go back in May for Madame Butterfly.

I just moved from Tucson where they have primarily Cinemark theaters in town. I'd bought the year long membership with one free movie a month and when I found out I would be living back in Phoenix again, I was so bummed that I'd be missing out on the money I'd spent but luckily we have one Cinemark here in Phoenix and it's only about 10 minutes from my apartment! Of all the Cinemarks I went to in Tucson, this one is honestly the best. I love that it still has the standard old school movie theater concession lines. I hate that school cafeteria vibe at the other locations. The large framed images of old movies and movie stars is so cool and cozy. The entrances in to every theater was so cool too. I never would've expected to see something this classic in Mesa. This might be my go-to movie spot from now on.

I love that this movie theater has reclining chairs. And I'm pretty sure they have a bar? I feel like there's always a lot of available space, probably based of its location. It's right next to a lot of cool places for a date. And it's esthetically pleasing outside and around the area. This is one of my favorite theaters to go to

What happened to this theater? This is sad and disgusting. Either fix it or close the theater down.

We were anxious about the price, but it was absolutely worth it to have the details taken care of for you. From start to finish, she went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect. Our wedding weekend was such a success thanks to her dedication and hard work -- she truly made us feel like we were the only couple that mattered that weekend. Her knowledge of South Asian multicultural weddings was impressive (honestly, she knew more than I did!). That said it's easy to let hubris kick in and think "throw a big party... how hard could that be? Maybe I'll do it myself"... DON'T. Of all the investments you will make into your wedding the choice of hiring a wedding planner might be the most important. Stranger yet is that you need to make this choice up front, but the true value is back-end loaded as you get closer to the event. Be patient. When you are feeling the pressure of pulling off one of the most important events of your lifetime and ensuring your 150 person guest list has an amazing time and that a venue you've never been to before beyond the tour is everything you wanted and more on the day, in your pictures, and in your memories, Bloom and Blueprint will be there. Casey was an absolute joy to work with. Up front she put in the work to help put us in contact with prospective vendors, give us guidance on the process, do some budget planning, and get some input on what we were looking for and generally give us an overview of what to expect along the way. She adjusted her style to ours letting us be as involved as we wanted to be and also present for anything we needed when we had questions. The truly heavy lifting started about 3-4 months out from the wedding date as the design meetings came about and it was time to start putting together a show-flow. If we had been left to do any of the design ourselves it would likely have been nice, but what Maggie and her team did was nothing short of stunning, and would have been impossible for us to come up with even with years to plan. We and our guests loved how original, fun, elevated, and high quality the decorations and florals were. We had a 14 hour day of ceremony, lunch, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception. Our requests were that we wanted it to feel effortless and unhurried to us and our guests. We wanted time to eat the food, drink the drinks, dance, and actually hang out with our guests. We didn't want to be ushered from place to place to check all the wedding boxes, we just wanted to have a good time on our wedding day with our favorite people. Casey organized everything in such a way that it felt seamless. Organizing the many vendors, working with the venue and advocating on our behalf, making sure none of the little details went overlooked and fighting any fires that come up to reduce the stress of the last minute unwelcome surprises. A story to highlight this was that one of our linens for the table coverings had become a central template for our program designs and seating chart etc. On the Thursday before our Saturday Wedding Casey and Maggie discovered that the linens were stuck in Chicago and were at risk of not arriving on time. Casey spent hours visiting other linen stores around AZ to find an alternate vendor, but the linens were proprietary to the original shop. In order to make sure their problem did not become our problem, Casey called me with a solution: they'd swap the tables and then do a custom wrap on the tables with the print. It turned out better and more impressive than if the linens had arrived as planned and there were no surprise expenses. We could not be happier with the way our wedding turned out and it is thanks in large part to Casey and Maggie.

Our guests are still talking about how beautiful everything was. We ended up loving our coordinator, Katie. She was incredibly sweet, organized, and helpful during the final stages of planning and on the day of the wedding. The only challenge we experienced was that she was our third or fourth coordinator throughout the planning process. The staff changes made it a little difficult to keep track of previous conversations and details, which added some stress along the way. In the end, everything came together beautifully, but the turnover was a bit tough to navigate. The food catered by the venue was fantastic. We received so many compliments from our guests about how delicious everything was, and the catering staff did an amazing job. Where we struggled a little was with pricing expectations. Based on our initial conversations and the overall cost of the venue, we assumed more items were included than what ended up being covered. As we got closer to the wedding, there were several additional fees that surprised us and made budgeting harder than expected. For example, we chose not to do signature drinks because there was a $300 fee just to offer them, even though we were providing the alcohol ourselves. It was small things like that which we hadn't anticipated being extra. Even with those frustrations, we truly had a wonderful experience overall. Our wedding day was beyond magical, and the venue and catering staff worked incredibly hard to make everything run smoothly. We are very grateful for their efforts and for the beautiful memories we were able to create there. Overall, we would absolutely recommend having your wedding here.
