Well this place was a treat. I saw Hamnet here yesterday, and had a really good first experience…read more The seats are assigned, so that's nice. They also have a nice rock to them and the arm rests can be moved up and out of the way. As this is a dine in theatre, there are little tables set up for plates and drinks. Speaking of food - they have a pretty versatile menu! I splurged and went with the sampler - you get to choose three things, and I went with mozzarella sticks, fries, and chicken tenders. Solid food! The service was awesome. My server was attentive and kind, and made sure I was set throughout my visit. 10/10, no notes. This was a really rad lil time and I'm sure I'll be back :)

We enjoy their…read moreunique movie parties- where you can watch classic movies and shout out lines or sing along to the music with everyone in the theater. They also have limited engagements and monthly signatures, along with new releases of course. They always seem to have a good discount going on something, so if you're looking to spend under $10/ticket be sure to check their website or app for the best deals. This location has a full bar in the lobby with many regional beers on tap. You can also order food while in the theater and the friendly servers will bring it to the table between each pair of seats! Wednesdays they have a $5 menu for popcorn, pretzels and more. This is one of few places I can eat popcorn without any digestion issues...not something I can say at the larger rival theaters! The theaters are clean and spacious. While the chairs don't have automated controls to recline, they are large, comfortable and spaced apart so you're not rubbing elbows with the stranger next you. They have a lot of quirky and nostalgic advertisements and videos to watch before the movie starts. You may enjoy these more than your feature film! A few drawbacks are 1) the theaters are smaller than most...so if you're looking to watch a hot new release it may be hard to find seats during prime time. 2) Given the smaller theater, the screen is also on the smaller size. 3) As they deliver food during the movies, you may have workers walking by you often depending your seat choice. Their system isn't foolproof as I had them deliver me food for other people and watch my food go to other people. Overall, if you're looking to avoid the larger theaters and have some older-fashioned fun, this is a great place to visit!

Initially you walk into a large interior with plenty of tables and a bar and restaurant with gelato and so much more. You can then order any food and drinks in your very comfortable seats in the movie theater itself. I went this past week with a friend to watch the release of the latest Avatar movie. We arrived a bit early to get something to drink and watch the previews and arrange our seats accordingly before the movie started. We pressed the button on the seat and the staff showed up quickly so that we could place our orders in person. I ordered a milkshake with chocolate gelato while my friend ordered a soda. The theaters themselves have large screens where you can see well from any seat. If you visit the RoadHouse Cinemas website (https://www.roadhousecinemas.com), you can see showtimes for upcoming movies, join their newsletter, join their loyalty program (for a free ticket before your birthday), and can even fill out a mystery shopper form after your experience for a chance to win a pair of movie tickets and $40 credit. You can also see upcoming events and a their menu. RoadHouse Cinemas is open 365 days a year and intentionally offers a movie experience combined with a special dining experience. They have an award-winning chef and restaurateur. They also have a creative full bar featuring wine, beers, and specialty drinks. They also have state-of-the-art digital projection and 7.1 Dolby Digital Surround Sound. Needless to say, you're in for something special by visiting this theater!

Everything else makes up for it. Wow I could sit and describe this Orgon for an hour and my description would suck. It's the biggest theater organ in the world. Absolutely jaw dropping. The crust was pretty thin and I hear that you make their dough in house and I thought the dough tasted great. The toppings on top tasted good didn't taste like canned stuff My beer was a bit warm though, and they serve them in those reusable plastic cups. They are all like scratched up and stuff. I usually have sensitive skin so I react on like these bacterial cups a lot which I did a bit on my lips. I plan to come here more times in the future really great time just simple standard bar food. I would say don't expect the best food you're here for the organ player not the food so they aren't focused on making top notch food you know and what I really like. Is that there there's no tipping here like no option to do so on the machines and in the world we literally everything makes you tip. It feels nice to have a break from that. But definitely tip your organ player they have a big jar in front

So many cool games to play, lots of drink choices, and an inviting atmosphere makes this place a great venue to visit for a night out with friends or even a solo visit! Unfortunately, that is only when this place is functioning properly. The food is really not great, but my biggest gripe by far about this place is the service. I have gotten good service maybe three times.Every other time the servers either do not come to us, take extremely long, or are rude and acting like we're messing up their day by asking for basic customer service. Just the other day my friend and I ordered tower station. When we received the beers, they were absolutely not tower station. We asked to switch beers and our first server was very kind and accommodating. Then out of nowhere came this (im assuming supervisor?) that said "what happened with the beers? I checked the keg its fine." with a super rude attitude. It was so awkward my whole friend group talked about it afterwards. Additionally, I don't think I have ever had the same server/bartender twice. The turnover rate is likely very high. This place has so much potential. I really wish the owners took its management seriously and hired some competent servers. Want to rate it higher.

Sunday thru Thursday their games are half price and if you really want to stretch your buck you order off the eat and play menu. We ordered burgers and chicken sandwich with the $35 game card which then cost us $39 for the meal and the pay card. The human crane was $20 extra to do and it had blow up pool like toys in it. My goddaughter wanted the experience but not the toys she would have rather there be stuffing like Squishmellows, State Fair game type prizes for variety. I agree with the 11yo! BFF and I took our kids here today for their birthdays boys are 25 and girlie is 11 and its a perfect place for mixed age groups. We are around 50 and when the kids played we sat in their comfy chairs at our table. They really have the best seating area. So comfy because they know you're going to be there for a while. We went Sunday at 4pm and by 6 almost all the tables were full. We made reservations which I always recommend! The food was average nothing that stands out. It was good, we weren't expecting anything above what it was. The deserts were delish i have a horrible sweet tooth as does my bff and we enjoyed our cake and brownie deserts. They are generous portions so we split it between 4 of us and baby girl had a strawberry milkshake. All was enjoyed. The lost star was for the drinks. For the cost we expected to taste and later feel some effects of having alcohol especially after 3 drinks ea. Nope. So we know for next time drinks elsewhere as there's plenty of options around the area. While we where there we had 2 servers, shift change, they were very attentive nice and got everything right.

The show was hilarious though & we had a wonderful time. This makes for an awesome date night. One thing I did not enjoy is that I was seated across from my husband, I would have preferred being next to him, so we could talk to one another a bit easier... We did not order food, but I got Sangria. One of the best Sangrias I have had, to be honest! I was very disappointed to hear that a single shot does not qualify for the "2 Drink Minimum". I feel that should be mentioned on the menu for guests, because if I had ordered the shot, assuming it counted, I would have been furious! I also think it's a bit ridiculous that you cannot order food in place of the drinks? As long as people are spending money on something, why should it matter???? We had a good time, and will be back in the future. I just hope that they will consider modifying their business structure in a way that makes a little bit more sense.

Surprisingly,…read morethe venue is large yet intimate but what's always questionable about comedy clubs in general are the funky seating arrangements, the table setup--the chairs are so close to each other that it can feel like you're sitting on top of others while at your table. The ambiance is good all around, the staff are friendly, and the menu options are decent. I would suggest more non-alcoholic beverages options but their food options are good. The audience was engaging for the most part with the exception of some people that were VIP and happened to be seated in front of me. Two couples on a double date had such dry personalities and apparently forgot how to laugh. In some cases during the show, their lack of engagement and energy made the comedian sense a level of awkwardness, but he carried on his engagement well while others laughed in appreciation of his humor. At the end of the show, he welcomed fans to take photos with him, which I did. I caught the 7pm show which ended early enough to enjoy the rest of the evening exploring other establishments nearby. Overall, this is a great venue. You get a little of everything to make your visit enjoyable. The club is easy to find, parking is free but can fill up fast as there's other shops and a grocery store that share the same lot. If you're not familiar with Improv Tempe, definitely enjoy a night out seeing any comedian here. I'll be back again.

Main Event has it all! There's a sit down restaurant, a pizza counter, a bar, a full arcade equipped with all of the latest and greatest games. There is laser tag, bowling, an obstacle course that is situated above the arcade, billiards, shuffleboard... &I would not be surprised if there are some other activities I forgot to mention. Needless to say, there is something for everyone! The staff is friendly, the service is great. The pricing is fair. &Considering all of the action taking place inside that building, I was pretty impressed by how low the noise level actually was??? So you can sit down and have dinner with your family & friends & still enjoy yourself without being bombarded by pure chaos. That was a plus for me! The food was great! The prices for food were in line with the overall quality. I got the burger tacos (sorry I forget what the actual name was) & fries because that sounded very "off the wall". It was delicious! I made the right choice. Their jalapeño ranch is crazy good, I highly recommend getting a side of that. We also split some fried pickles, and they were incredible! I was very impressed by the meal. Typically, at places like this, the food is very low quality and boring. However, Main Event seems to have it all figured out!

Awful Customer Service: * They ultimately failed to resolve the issue, flat-out ignoring me for months and only replying to falsely claim they'd look into the issue further. * Aside from not refunding me, they were unable to find my actual tab, which my bank said I needed to file a dispute. * If I called, they'd put me on hold for extended periods of time, once for over an hour. * The team was rude, disorganized, and showed no empathy towards me. Bad Value and Overall Experience: * Everything was overpriced (the arcade, billiards, food, drinks, etc.). * Many of the arcade games were broken or poorly maintained (for example, the basketball game had a flat ball). * The arcade and bar were dirty. My husband and I came here for his birthday to see Steve Byrne…read more We love comedy but we have littles and don't get out much. They had an earlier show at 4pm and it made the bday weekend special- yes, aware that sounds old. At 40 and as early-birds... if it doesn't happen before 5- it's a hard pass!! Ironically this was definitely noted in his act having a 4pm show! After parking and getting lost in the parking garage- yeah, we don't make it into the city much but we got a couple flights of stairs in for no apparent reason that would later benefit the additional IPAs we drank during the show ‍ I loved that we got sat right in front next to the stage. Before I go anywhere I look into reviews on Yelp and Google to see the do/donts, and deals/tricks. Yes, plan to get comfy with your neighbor- they sit parties across from one another. As a party of two we sat next to another couple and so on. I'll admit, I'm not a size zero and my husband is 6'5- it was a bit uncomfortable. I can't imagine being on the thicker side or even an elder managing to get out and maneuver around seated patrons to go to the restroom and what not. We knew the two drink minimum would be required so we opt for the beer bucket that included six beers of your choice mix/match accordingly. Worked out great since they had Church Music and we shared an order of wings as we had dinner plans later. Service was great! Our server checked on us multiple times throughout the show. Reviews mention that it gets hot in there since they pack everyone in. It was freezing and I didn't take my jacket. I would've went back to the car to get it but it's a walk and we got lost on the way in lol. In Arizona businesses overcompensate during the summer and you'll find you wear your jacket more in the summer months inside than during the winter. Parking is free- just make sure you take your ticket with you and they'll scan it. We will definitely be back- yes, drinks are overpriced and tickets were reasonable. As for the show- not bad. Great laughs carried throughout and it's always dependent on the act which should be a separate review from the venue. Looking forward to more date nights in the city for sure!
