A local movie theatre with comforting lounge chairs that recline with the push of a button! We actually enjoy this branch more than the larger one in Lancaster due to the overall comfort of the chairs. There are slow days depending on when you go to the movies but overall on busy days, it can be slow. But thankfully there are always about 10-15 minutes after the scheduled showtime until the movies actually starts so it works out. Being a loyalty rewards member is always worth it due to the 20% off on snacks, the waived online fees, and the one free ticket per month (that rolls over). Only taking off a star because there's been a couple incidents of disruption from the public, but thankfully they give free tickets as a compensation. read more

Cayne (not sure on that spelling, but I'm sure he is the only one with this name) deserves a BIG shout out. He was our cashier at the concessions and that was BY FAR the best experience I have ever had at the movies!!! He was cheerful, upbeat, knowledgeable about the points in the app, made small talk with trivia. He asked us specifically how we wanted the butter on the popcorn and the amount of ice in the drinks. Saw him later when I went to use the restroom and he engaged again with pleasant conversation. If I owned a business that needed customer service, I would have offered him a job on the spot. read more

I live in Santa Clarita and come out here. They have 21 screens and the place is clean comfortable seating and a good variety of snacks. Monday is senior day and Tuesday is a discount day. Parking is no problem Management has done a lot to make this a safe environment to watch a film. read more

This is my first ever Cinemark and it's a pretty good movie theater. It felt mostly clean, except when my boyfriend's phone fell between seats and when he pulled his phone out there was a crazy amount of melted chocolate on his hand lol. I know cleaning between movies can't be a deep clean but it was kind of gross. Other than that the staff were friendly and the screen & sound were good. The people in the theater were pretty chatty and a lot of shushes happened which sucked but that's not the theaters fault. Over all not bad, and has pretty good value for the movies. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. Cinemark's "policies" are not only inconsistent, they're ridiculous. My daughter -- who looks very young -- has been let into R-rated movies without even being carded, while my sons are hassled every single time, carded and questioned to the point of harassment. There is no consistency, and certainly no common sense. Most recently, I was told by Manager EJ that even if I, the parent, gave permission for my 13-year-old to attend a movie with his 20-year-old brothers, it wouldn't be allowed unless I purchased an additional ticket for a movie I had no intention of seeing. According to EJ, the reason is "alcohol consumption." If alcohol is really the problem, maybe Cinemark should stop selling it, or have security actually check bags, instead of punishing families with absurd rules. Between the outrageous ticket prices, the highway-robbery concession costs, and now this nonsense, Cinemark has officially lost my business. The lack of customer service and respect from EJ (manager) was appalling. Families deserve better than being treated like an inconvenience while Cinemark squeezes every possible dime out of them. Do yourself a favor -- spend your money somewhere that values its customers. read more

One of the main things to do out in this area is go to the movies. This theater is close to becoming historical in a good way. It is on the smaller side but can suffice once you're engaged in an epic movie. So many fun memories I've had here. They've upgraded the seating to recliners which is great to enjoy while supporting this local landmark. There's concessions and an arcade area. They have blankets for sale for those who get a little chilly in the theater and forgot to bring a jacket. The popcorn was fresh and the service was great from entry to exit. Every employee we encountered greeted us with a smile and cheerful demeanor. Ok so.. Gran Turismo you need to see this in a movie theater. It will make you laugh, cry, clench your fists, forget to breathe and leave you cheering along with this adrenaline roller coaster. It was absolutely amazing. I don't usually come on a Tuesday so I was surprised to see the parking lot being full. So my significant other reminded me that on Tuesdays, movie tickets are cheaper. Well that's good to know. I will come by often then instead on regular days to save a few dollars. I used the facilities before going in to my movie. And wow, they should clean more on days like this. Guy who checks tickets is very rude if you want to come to have a good time get ready to get checked more than you would anywhere else we weren't raising our voice or anything and he still called us a "ok kid" when we are 18 and obviously we took that as disrespectful who says that while you are working, all because we got confused if we have showed our code for our entrance, please hire more professional people or at least train them, if they feel that they are in a situation that may be too much such as asking for a code. & while we were leaving he had scissors in his hand which i have never seen them hold scissors which i could be wrong but that is concerning. read more

Screens always have some kind of imperfection, either they arent tight enough and you can see draping throughtout or they have dents or they have have stains. For someone who gets distracted easily this can make a 2 hour movie feel like forever. Management /Staff need to review the screens fast, especially auditorium #2 and the one immediately to the right of the entrance. read more

I've been living in the Palmdale area for about two years and my wife and I decided to see the new " Michael " movie. As a gift for my 36 year old daughter's birthday, I took her, her boyfriend and my two sons as well. I purchased the tickets online on the Cinemark website. I purchased four tickets at regular price and two tickets for seniors (indicated on the website for 62 years old and older) for a total 6 tickets. When we arrived at the theater I pulled out my phone and advised the clerk checking patrons in that I purchased tickets on line and here's my QR Code. The clerk scanned the code and said that she needed to see ID for the two seniors. I provided my ID first and the clerk stated that I didn't meet the age requirements for the senior discounts. I replied that according to your website the age requirement was 62 and older. The clerk then stated the requirement was 68 years old and older. She then said that we would have to go to the ticket booth, refund the two tickets purchased for seniors and purchase them at regular price. I asked her why was it stated on the website that the senior tickets were for patrons 62 and older? She stated that the senior ticket price fluctuates according to the theater managers discretion. I then stated that it seems very misleading to post ticket prices for a certain amount then to change the price to a higher price after a patron arrives to the theater. I was a little embarrassed to say the least as a large line had formed behind us. I proceeded to go to the ticket office, refunded the tickets, purchased the new tickets got back in line to enter the theater. Once we finally got inside the theater and sat in our seats we began watching the movie. At just about 30 minutes into the movie we began to hear a small baby crying. This continued through the film as the parents kept carrying the child in a out of the theater yet it was VERY distracting for this to occur during the entire movie. As I mentioned we have been living in the City of Palmdale for two years and our visit to Cinemark Theaters was our biggest disappointment we have experienced. read more

Usually have a nice experience at this theater, but today was not the case. My sisters and I got tickets to watch the new Demon Slayer movie (had already watched at the imax theater in Lancaster on the 9th. Also an anime movie) because our cousin had wanted to watch it. Upon scanning our tickets we were asked for our IDs which we did not mind. My sister did not have her ID so we were told she could not go in until they saw her ID. My other sister and cousin proceeded to go into the theater while I took my sister back home to get her passport. Once we got back we showed the passport only for them to tell us she was unable to go in because she was 16 not 17 and needed a parent with her. I am 25 years old, her sister, and they still refused to allow her to go watch the movie with me by her side (a movie we've already seen btw). We even asked if we called our parent and they gave the okay for her to watch the movie if she could go in and the guy said no. The only options he was allowing us to have was either I go drop her off back at our house and come back (which at this point the movie had already started), I refund my single ticket to get another showtime since my other family members had already entered the theater or I try the Lancaster theater since that's where they allowed us to go in the first time we watched the movie. It was just a frustrating experience because we had over heard a conversation where they had allowed someone else to pass by this one time due to age restriction as well. So I did not understand why some people were getting a pass on the age restriction while we were only given those options. Like previously stated we've been to this theater before, we've just watched the newest Conjuring movie (also rated R) and none of us were asked to show ID. Another time where we were asked to show ID, we were told as long as someone 25 years or older is with the person underage that we'll be able to go in. I am just very confused on the actual policy because it seems as though not even the employees are aware since every time it is something different. read more

This is the worst review that I have ever left on Yelp. On 11/20/2024 I purchased tickets online to see Wicked at an early showing on 11/22/2024. Between this time I never received an email confirmation in my inbox or spam and I had checked out as a guest so other than the charge on my credit card I had no proof of purchase. I showed up to the theater with my mom on 11/22/2024 hoping that customer service would be able to find my reservation some other way but when they swiped my credit card in their system they told me that they couldn't find my purchase and that this happens on the Cinemark website all the time. They continued to explain that I probably checked out at the same time as another guest but my transaction didn't go through and would not be charged. However 24.78 was taken out of my bank account from Cinemark 362 - Palmdale. I even showed them the transaction on the bank app in my phone. The people at the window need proper training because they did not seem to care about helping me whatsoever and didn't know their own companies policies/protocols. They didn't want to refund me and sent the manager out to do something but I just left... 3 months later and I am confident that the seats were mine. I contacted Cinemark customer support and initially they told me that they could not find my reservation either. When I explained that I had purchased the tickets a few days earlier than the actual showing they were able to find proof of my transaction on their end and refund me. Either way, it was enough to deter me from visiting this theater ever again. I was able to make a showing of Wicked in Santa Clarita at a Regal Cinema. read more

Went here to see "Never Let Go" and it was one to remember. I literally never let go the whole time. Completely entranced, my eyes couldn't look away. What I could make out was the passion that was clearly entangled between those involved. I was at a complete loss for words, almost as if a cat got my tongue. First time coming to a Cinemark. Here to see Ant-Man and the Wasp but that means nothing for the review. We entered around 10:15 AM one of the first showings. We had our tickets already purchased online so we walked in and stood in line for concessions. The clerks were helpful, and helped us make the right choice for 3 kids and my mother in law and me. Theatre was clean when I walked in. Except for me...I was snacking on the popcorn in the hall and guess what? Dropped some....haha I had to pick it up because the theatre was so clean. We sat in theatre #7. The seating was amazing! Every seat had a built recliner and seat warmer! Wow! I'm used to regal cinemas with basic seating. The pricing was only 12 bucks a ticket for a matinee. Well I had to use the restroom a couple times and it was clean. The lady who let me go back and forth never questioned who I was. She noticed me and let me go back and forth several times. The air dryers on the wall didn't work but at least paper towels were in stock. Personal I prefer paper towels BUT I do like to make sure my hands dry by using both at the same time. The theatre was clean and the film had no sound issues or display problems. Wanted to watch a new movie but didn't wanna pay the ridiculous price at another movie theater so we came here. Met with a friend on a Monday morning and the tickets were about $7 each, not bad. There wasn't much of a line.. so wait time didn't take long, got into the lobby to get checked in and we were in and on our way to the theater. Theater room was small, sat towards the back, they had recliner chairs which were nice and assigned seating. This place however was a bit outdated, minus the recliner chairs. But the price to watch a movie was pretty spot on, though this theater is not in the best neighborhood so I suggest to park your car near the front. read more

The loungers are huge and have heating so it's nice to have, especially if you're coming in with a sore back. =P Prices are slightly cheaper before 5PM! Sound quality and picture quality is always good at this theater. Not ghetto at all. The bathrooms sometimes can be a bit messy at time. Had tickets on my sons Cinemark app that he pays for and decided to go see a movie last night 9/10/21. Not only was it a madhouse zoo of young people all over parking lot & in lobby. Many were not wearing masks. Got in line for snack bar & my son had zero internet connection to both pull up our tickets , but also to use his 20% discount for food. He goes outside to see if he can get internet to no avail. I mentioned this to the snack bar person hey we can't get any Internet service in here and our tickets are on the app as well as our food discount and she says yeah, our Internet service has been spotty lately. Needless to say, we walked away and drove into Lancaster was able to cancel our tickets to Palmdale and we bought tickets for Lancaster Cinemark and what a difference a day makes. No crowds no rowdiness nice and mellow and clean and their Internet worked. I will never be back Palmdale Cinemark by the mall again. read more

I love the new seating. Large, recycling lounge chairs. The food delivery to your seat is awesome. The wine and beer list is great. Not too pricey for date not. Pizza Hut pizza is big enough to get full on and share. The pizza is fresh and crispy. Jalapeños now come in packs for .65 cents. The restrooms are clean and staff does a great job. I wouldn't recommend this particular Cinemark theater, Some of the employees here particularly Chloe, lack reasonable customer service. If you want to be talked to in a condescending tone, and accused of having more than 20 people in your party, based on a hunch. Only to be verified you have 17 people, below the 20 maximum occupancy. I'd recommend Movies 22, I've never had a problem there, in fact they are extremely nice. Which is a reflection of better management and customer service training. After contacting the General Manager Mr. Wes Wheeler, the issue was handled ineffectively, and will probably be a continuous problem. I don't write many reviews, but this particular treatment was unusually poor, and have never experienced such incompetence. read more
