We were very disappointed with our experience at the Lovers and Friends Festival Antelope Valley…read moreEdition. We brought our children because the event was advertised as family-friendly, and one of the main reasons we attended was to see Ray J perform, which unfortunately did not happen. We paid extra for VIP, only to find out that tables were an additional $100 each. It was frustrating because most people would expect a VIP section to already include seating or tables. The atmosphere was not family-friendly at all. There was smoking, vaping, drinking, and marijuana use all around us despite rules saying not to do those things. I have never smoked in my life, but by the time we left, my hair smelled like weed, my tongue tasted like marijuana, and one of my children, who has asthma, came home feeling sick. One of my kids also seemed affected by all the smoke in the air. We were constantly getting pushed, crowded, and harassed in the VIP section. People were all over us, and we did not feel safe or comfortable. We had to leave early and missed the performance we came for. Overall, this event was disorganized, overcrowded, and not appropriate for families with children. If you are expecting a true family-friendly environment, this was not it. I would appreciate it if someone from the event team could reach out to me to discuss a resolution regarding our experience.

Although it's in the desert, I expected them to have more than just concrete bleachers, yes they had some chairs at certain fields but not at all fields. It gets hot! Were from OC but the staff working the tournament were kind and I just wish they made sure to charge everyone and not let their friends get in free. Some young girl was working and was on phone while doing my transaction. I noticed when I went to get food, I didn't have exact change. I went back and told her and she said I don't remember. I knew what cash I took only because i just took it out at vons and headed straight to the complex. had $200 in cash on me. I handed her $100. Clearly she was side tracked but what was weird is when we returned, to tell her about the money, her bf (who she was on phone with) had shown up and some of his friends to hang while she worked. But we have to pay to watch our kids?? but this young girl working can have her bf show up and his friends all while not doing the best job while handling money?!!! Since she said she wasn't sure and didn't remember I took it as a loss. Only 3 adults and 4 toddlers 5 and under. I should've gotten $79 back but got $29. I didn't think to check because I was tending to my kids and when I saw the $20 on the outside of my change, I just expected the rest would be in the cash I got back but basically I lost out on $79 all because she was preoccupied. One more thing, please add covering over entire parking lot. In OC we have coverings over all parking but it's hotter In Palmdale so I'd say cover accordingly. We hope to come to this complex again i

We are so lucky to have such a gorgeous open amphitheater overlooking the Hollywood Hills that have wonderful acoustics wherever you sit and world class talent you wouldn't see anywhere else. It's a wonderful place to gather with friends or family and enjoy a variety of shows and events that you won't see anywhere else in the world. It's also been host recently to a variety of musical features, symphonies with movies, and even comedy shows. If you sit in the garden boxes you can order food in advance (make sure you do it at least before 6pm the day before your performance online if you want it delivered). Or you can bring food and beverages (no cans allowed and also you have to bring empty bottles to fill your water and depending on the event you should look at policies to bring alcohol like wine. Parking can get a little tricky. I like Lot D but that is currently $55 online (also recommend buying in advance). The closer lots are more expensive and/or reserved for VIP or season ticket holders. Another option are the park and ride/ shuttles that will get you to the base of the Bowl and it's a short uphill walk to the entrance. Typically doors will open 1.5-2 hours before the show. There are picnic benches and tables outside and inside the bowl area if you aren't in the garden boxes and people also often bring food to the benches. Seat cushions available to rent as well. Escalators/people movers available for some of the higher seats to help with the hike up.

I've seen the likes of Gustavo Dudamel, Joshua Bell, Mariah Carey, Deadmau5, Harry Connick Jr., and the LA Philharmonic here, and every concert felt completely different from the next, some more peaceful and elegant, others far more chaotic. The classical music concerts were definitely my favorite experiences overall. They were less crowded, more relaxed, and honestly just felt more immersive. Parking also seemed cheaper during those events. Concerts like Mariah Carey's Christmas special, however, were packed. The atmosphere was louder, more hectic, parking was significantly more expensive, and unfortunately there were quite a few people who seemed more interested in filming themselves for social media than actually enjoying the performance. As for parking: LISTEN UP! Plan ahead. I usually park farther away near the Dolby Theatre area because it was cheaper ($10-$15), though it does require a lot more walking and cheap parking isn't always guaranteed. Other times, if I simply wasn't in the mood to suffer the walk uphill and feel my thighs burning, I paid the extra $40 for closer parking. Worth it some nights tbh. The walk up to the Bowl can be rough because of the incline, especially if your seats are toward the back, but thankfully there are escalators throughout the venue. Comfortable shoes are a must!! Bring an extra pair in case you want to wear your dressy shoes. I'd also recommend bringing extra money for food and drinks because prices are definitely steep. Personally, I usually either eat beforehand or just a budget for snacks there. During the classical concerts, I'd get charcuterie-style snacks and sparkling rosé from the marketplace near the restrooms, which made the evenings feel even more magical. One very important warning: if you're attending a massive concert like Mariah Carey's Christmas special, prepare yourself mentally for the traffic afterward because it is absolutely brutal. My husband and I actually left 2-3 songs early just to avoid sitting in traffic for eternity, and I don't regret it (i simply regret not seeing Mariah sing the legendary All I Want For Christmas song Live) Despite the crowds and occasional chaos, the Hollywood Bowl is still one of the most iconic experiences in Southern California and somewhere I look forward to revisiting for years to come especially once my son is older enough to experience it with us. Do go at least once in your lifetime!

The game presentation also adds to the fun, with fun intermission activities, promotions, and fan experiences, great yet nearly impossibleto comllete or win,, the arena is easy to get to, get in with more than just one entrance, parking is now horrendous and expensive nearby off N Street, my opinion arrive super early and get street parking, walk to get dinner and then to the stadium.. The venue is generally practical and well organized Ushers do their job well, The main lowlights are that concession foornis mediocre, lines can get long and service can be slow, and the entry process doing a Condors game is restricted to Two Doors into metal detectors, absolutely more time-consuming than necessary because of bag checks, metal detectors, and other rules. These are understood but open more than two doors before game time that would help with the process. Our experience was a great experience up until the Guest services supervisor, showed his butt( not physically but literally), I knew he was a guest services supervisor because he was announced on the ice and was appreciated for doing his job apparently.( this was some sort of staff appreciation night) anyhow he was seated in front of us about four rows ahead with a gardeners hat and a 10" brim, that forced the people who were supposed to sit behind him to move, also he did not sit down during the whole game and was just obnoxious. Not sports arena obnoxious, just obnoxious. The GSS when leaving to walk up the stairs he had to wait, as game was in play, while waiting he was more than obnoxious to the man standing next to him and his lady (while he waited ) he started screaming very cllose to his ear "let's go Condors" less than 3 ft away from the man, I literally butted in and told him to chill and he went further up the stairs to continue yelling let's go condors which is fine but just not in someone's ear anyway, hope I never have to deal with this dude personally because it shows you what kind of person he I believe he felt emboldened because he worked there and he had approximately 20 family members there that day but I can tell just in that moment as a Condors employee he's a problem. If not to anyone else to people he doesn't believe deserves respect because he seems to think he's above them as an employee. Anyway we had a good time the food for me was way too expensive but a friend of mine bought me a $2 hot dog this hot dog wasn't worth 15 cents it seem to be overcooked the bun was soft but too moist for a hot dog to be enjoyed so I decided to leave at the beginning of the third quarter when the Condors were down 3-1 and knew it probably wasn't going to get better as we walked out. I think im psychic .... as we walked up the stairs San Diego Gulls scored another goal which put it at four to one and therefore solidified my exit to go pick up a cheap meal at Taco Bell anyway great experience great energy keep me away from obnoxious people which is kind of hard to do at sports events but I digress Dignity Health Arena seems to be well run and sort of reminded me why I had season tickets in the 2000s. Just hoping I don't have to talk to the guest services supervisor before I'm allowed to buy those tickets that might change my mind..

I had a blast at the Country Night game with my Mom. The outside of Dignity Health is stunning, I love the fountain, spacious plaza, and shiny windows. The entire property is super clean and inviting. I walked in and the Dignity Health event staff were friendly. Everyone had a lovely attitude (minus a gift shop dude) and was very helpful. Our usher/attendant downstairs ( a younger, heavy-set gentleman) was absolutely amazing! He had excellent customer service and was dressed professionally. All ushers had a neat uniform and were instantly recognizable. Our only issue with the venue, is that some of the concourse level is a little bland. It's almost too industrial and needs slightly more color. Thankfully, the arena has plenty of food, concessions stands and pop-ups at almost every corner! We tried the popcorn and it was decent (maybe needs a little more butter). The lady at the popcorn stand was kind. As for main event, we were impressed with the ice, seats, and Jumbotron. I had ample space for my legs and a cushion for my backside. Additionally, I didn't have to squint to see the stats, everything was easy to see from our vantage point. The arena has good lighting and has a family-friendly feel. Shoutout to the family restrooms, those are a lifesaver. Note: Parking on Level 1 of the adjacent parking structure is $20. Parking on every other level (2 and up) is $15. We opted to parking on the second floor as we don't mind walking down the stairs to get to the arena.

The show itself was incredible, but the venue played a huge part in making the night better. One of the first things I appreciated was the parking available. Anyone who regularly goes to major concert venues knows parking can sometimes be a nightmare, so having plenty of space and a relatively smooth arrival instantly started the night off right. It was also hot outside that day, so walking into the Forum and immediately feeling the cold AC was a lifesaver. Some venues get stuffy and uncomfortable once crowds fill in but the Kia Forum stayed cool and refreshing the entire time, which made a huge difference in overall comfort. The venue itself has a unique vibe. It feels very old-school in the best way possible. The inside almost reminds me of a spaceship or something retro-futuristic, it's hard to describe. It has a really distinct character that makes it stand out from newer, more generic arenas. Originally the Forum was famous for hosting legendary concerts and Lakers games before the team moved downtown. The Forum still carries that classic concert-history energy while feeling well maintained. I also have to mention how comfortable the seating was. The padded seats were a pleasant surprise and made it much easier to relax and enjoy the performance. My view of the stage was great, the sound quality was solid, and the staff/service throughout the venue were friendly and organized. Of course, food and drinks were expensive, but honestly that's pretty much expected at any major venue these days, so it wasn't shocking. At this point, event goers kind of know what they're walking into with concession prices. Overall, I genuinely loved the atmosphere and experience at the Kia Forum. Between the comfortable setup, great air conditioning, classic architecture, and fun energy of the crowd, it ended up being one of my favorite concert venues I've been to. I had zero issues during my visit and would absolutely come back again for another show.

The ticket I bought included a box lunch which was a sandwich. I wasn't eating for the month of January because I was fasting. But she told me she enjoyed the food which brought me joy! It inspired me to walk closer to god while learning and applying my knowledge to do his work! They had key motivational Christian speakers come out and speak on different topics! I wished I would have wrote about this sooner because I'm thinking about it and it's causing me mixed feelings. Of what I wanted but why god wanted was something totally different! But I trust his process. There was street parking if you walked a distance or you paid for parking which we did and it was 20 for the whole day! I would do this day all over again and I appreciate my time with CAREMAL kisses an I pray she gained knowledge and apply what god puts on her heart.
