It's an okay theater, but much smaller than Movies 22 in Lancaster and not quite as fancy. There's no resteraunt, but they do sell hot-dogs, popcorn, sodas, and other movie snacks. It's pretty clean, but there aren't enough bathrooms, especially on Friday or Saturday evenings. read more

Very nice theater, the screens are a good size, place is clean and new, they also have a small little arcade in the front lobby. prices are very good for matinee shows and parking is free no hassle, very cool when you compare it to theaters in Los Angeles where I'm from. I went to your Antelope Valley Mall location to purchase gift cards for end of the year gifts for my daughters' teachers. I wanted to purchase 15, $20 gift cards (I have two daughters, each with 6 teachers, plus principal, office staff, etc). I was told that there is now a 5 gift card limit. This is absolutely ridiculous. I was paying in cash, but they would still not sell me additional gift cards. So I have two options. 1. Come back on three separate visits, which defers the purpose because I would still be purchasing 15 gift cards, just at an inconvience to me or 2. Take my business elsewhere and you lose out on $300 (cash) from me, plus all the extra $$ those teachers may have spent in your concession area when they used those gifts over the summer. I'm not sure who made that rule, but I think I'll go take my money elsewhere and make sure I tell everyone I know on social media and beyond about your poor business decisions. read more

Great theater and the only one in Palmdale currently. Rather come here over Lancaster 22 though as this one is never as crowded, the seats are just as comfortable, and has great screens and sound systems. Food prices suck as all theaters do, but they have ICEE drinks and really good hot dogs as well as popcorn if your ok with the prices. read more

Just want to let everyone know be careful leaving phones or wallets behind after the movie ends. Cleaning crew comes in right after to find them and not turn them in. I personally left something behind and it wasn't found. Find it very odd cleaning crew to go in after and not have the honesty to turn it in. Very upsetting! read more

Theater # 2 is incredibly comfortable! I'm sure they all are and the theater is huge! I love how you walk in in the middle with seats down the stairs and Of course up stairs. Pitch Perfect was a great movie in such a comfortable theater. The restrooms are really clean. read more

They don't care if someone comes into the theater from the outdoor door during the movie . According to the so called manager the alarm did not go off. We checked the door after the movie it was not locked. The so called manager did not understand why we would be upset as they did no know about Aurora,CO. Guess Cinemark dose not care about safe of the customers. If you go to this theater be sure the check the door to the outside to see if it is locked because you can't trust if the alarm is working. This theatre is very comfortable as far as the seats go. They are lounging chairs. they serve serve that they bring oncee ready to our seat in the actual theatre. The theatre is normally not too crowded. The people who work there are very friendly. The parking is not the best. The theatre gets cleaned up right away after the last showing. Here is the deal, their theaters are fine but more expensive then other areas but since we are a captive audience in AV we deal with it. For most movies I guess I can wait. Still Sat after noon, though we would go see blade runner, it just came out so we though get the ticket on line so we secure a ticket, For that privilege is was 1.50 more for each ticket. This didn't give me seats to reserve or anything, just the ticket. I get to the theater and there are no machines to get my ticket, of course no one to help and btw I'm disabled so walking around is actually difficult. In the end, I go back outside, wait in line and get my tickets. I get home and get this reply after I contact the Cinemark group. btw, no reserved seats either. Never will I use that service again, buyer beware, Pay more for a ticket than anywhere else and let them rip you off even more through a service that should help. I took my family & a friend to watch Furious 7 on Friday. We waited in line for about 2 hrs to watch the movie. While we were standing outstanding in line, a fight broke out. There were about 20 teenagers running around and making a scene. The ushers and security came out told them to leave if they already watch their movie. The crowd of teenagers ran in the theater which I believe was wrong way to handle this issue. The teenagers continue running around and making a scene inside the theater. The ushers brought our line inside to wait before our show. The same crowd of teenagers kept going in and out of different shows. Finally, we were allowed to go in to our theater for our show. No one check for tickets which was another big mistake of the staff. The same teenagers came inside our show and were walking in and out of the show. This was a big distraction. Why should I pay full price to watch a show when kids are running around in the theater. How can I rest assure my kids will be ok going to the movies when I am not around. read more

Went to all 3 Cinemarks in Lancaster because I was visiting my son for Christmas Eve and wanted to take him out to dinner and a movie. All 3 of them had listings of movies that said were playing on Christmas Eve night. First one I went to which was the Cinemark 12 had the doors locked, but there were people inside. I was like ok. What's going on? I started knocking on the door until one of the customers let me in. The guy working there had a ladder and was doing some kind of maintenance. I was like "um...where do I buy tickets at?". He said "Oh. We're closed. We closed early today." I said "well the listings online say you're still playing movies tonight." He was like "Oh yeah. well thats because we were getting listings prepared for tomorrow." I didn't really see the logic in that, but I didn't ask questions. So I was just like ok whatever. So we won't be able to see what we want, but we could just watch something else at another theater. Went to the Cinemark 22. A security guard walked up to me and my son like we were crazy. He asked if he could help me. I was like um...yeah we're here to see a movie. He said "I'm sorry sir. They're closed.". I was like well thats just great. After that I figured the one at the mall in Palmdale was going to be closed too. But I went anyways just in case. I just drove by. Sure enough that one was closed too. I know its a small town. But they need to get a different theater other than Cinemark. Because that place is garbage from my experience. Ruined my whole Christmas Eve. read more

What a disappointment, it gets dirty and dirtier and worse every time I come and one cashier for buying tickets, for about 25+ people in line and the electronic machines where down too. I had to go to the manager Mr. Loria and ask him if he could open more tellers for ticket buying, and he look at me like if I was asking him to let me in for free. He replied by saying in 15 minutes WHAT. I told him we are at the drop off street of the movie theater, near the handicapped parking. We also had to see the movie that we came to see an hour later, just because they dont have enough staff or get their act together. And to buy popcorn and drinks another long line with like only 2 people taking your orders.Bottom line this place is disorganized and understaff. It's not like I spend $5.00 when I come here, I average about $70.00 every time I come. I'll just start going to other places or wait for it to come out in redbox. read more

I prefer this location (compared to Lancaster) purely because one can put their own butter on the popcorn. Furthermore, I think they have pretzel bites which the Lancaster locations do not offer. On a bad note, the ticket kiosks never seem to work. read more

All these theaters and one concession stand. So if you need anything during the movie expect to miss a quarter of the movie. You can't get a refill if you miss what you came to see. read more

I spend time in Palmdale for work and decided to see a movie at the Antelope Valley Mall. I was very pleased with the polite and speedy service at the concession stand, and with the cleanliness of the theatre overall - both in the auditorium area and in the concession/foyer area. Compared to some theatres in the SF Bay Area this was a nice surprise. Overall I found no deficiencies. It was a pleasant experience and I would see movies here in the future. read more

Wow!!! I've been here many many times before but tonight was the last time I ever set foot here! I'm so upset & disgusted by the staff there tonight. My boyfriend & I went in today to see This is the End. We bought our tickets at the automatic machine, we bought our food & as we go to the guy to hand him our tickets he asked " you guys know this is a rated R movie " we both nodded our heads & he asked for i.d. (we are both 25) my boyfriend forgot his wallet at home so the guy said we can get a refund or exchange our tickets . we go exchange our tickets & as we are going back in, the couple infront of us (that don't look any older then we do) , say they forgot their I.d.s in their car. His response " I'll give you the benefit of the doubt go in" I was so upset I cussed him out & went to go speak with a "manager" all she said "I don't know why he did that sorry. " I just turned around & walked away. She didn't even ask who it was or anything she just continued doing w.e. she was doing. read more
