Me on my way back home from being kicked out btw

Good afternoon everyone! I would like to say that this place treated me and my family horribly. We went to go TRY to watch Scream and all of us were 17 or above. they didn't let us go in to watch the movie. Not only did they not let us watch the movie but, we paid more than $100 on snacks. We could've gone to the gas station to buy the same exact snacks and i bet you it would've been $50. They were being racist and didn't let us in. We are mexican by the way. The couple behind us were white and they let them in and didn't even ask for their ID. The staff were incredibly rude. they through my cash at my face. It was the old white lady by the way. To end the night, the staff grabbed my ICEE and dropped it on the ground. If i could give this place 0 stars, i would.

Watched Smile and Barbarian back to back at the theater. This photo was taken during commercials at the beginning, calm down :)

This is my go to theater, mainly because it's closest, but also because it's always been clean and easy to avoid crowds at. Haven't tried any concessions except the popcorn- both butter and kettle. I wouldn't say their kettle popcorn is the best, but it's okay.

This is my favorite movie theater in the Provo/Orem area. It has the most comfortable seats--every single one is one of those luxury seats that lean back and are so squishy and nice. There's $5 Tuesday you can count on (although those seats will fill up very quickly so if you arrive at the theater right before a showing there may not be available seats). But hey, it's in an amazing area! So if you need to buy seats for a little later, you'll have a great little mini strip mall to walk around and plenty of restaurants, dessert shops, and more to visit while you wait. You can buy your tickets online, but it will include a couple dollar extra fee that you don't get in person.

I had previously called and asked which plants would be the most suitable for beginners. (They are very responsive on the phone, which is great!) They told me that there will be people who could help me out at the store. Yet, when I arrived nobody greeted or helped out. When I asked for tips from two workers, they said they were not sure. So, I had to walk around to ask different workers. I was quite disappointed with the help and knowledge of the workers. As I was mainly looking at house plants, I must say that I was quite disappointed with some of the plants that I was previously eyeing. There were leaves that were broken off and wilting. Yet, I also managed to find other plants that looked so pretty! I love the selection of the pots and think that they are a good price in comparison to other online stores. I loved how they also helped me repot my plants for free as I purchased the pot AND the plant from the store (their requirement for free potting).

Some plants did and a lot did not. There were no workers to be found. It was like a ghost town. when I did find the price of the plants they over charged. I go to plant nurseries all over Utah and can find the same plants for half the cost and way more healthy. Shades used to be way better maintained but every time I've stopped by it seems like are becoming less and less maintained. I use to brag about this place but after today I just won't be back until they start to be organized, maintain their plants and have more affordable pricing. They are pricing out their customers.

The location itself is beautiful--the setting against the mountains is genuinely stunning, especially around sunset. The space is thoughtfully decorated, the seating was comfortable, and the soda station was a standout detail that guests really enjoyed. Overall, the aesthetic and atmosphere are very charming. However, the biggest issue--and unfortunately the one that defined the experience--was the sound. The indoor acoustics are extremely poor. The space functions like an echo chamber, with noise bouncing off the walls to the point where even casual conversation becomes overwhelming. Despite the use of a microphone, the speeches were nearly impossible to hear clearly, especially with a subpar sound system. Additionally, as the sun set, light streamed intensely through the upper windows, making it difficult to see key moments. Between the lighting and the acoustics, many guests ended up spending most of the event outside just to be able to talk and hear one another. Parking was also somewhat limited, though the location itself is convenient. It's a visually lovely venue with a lot of potential, but the sound issues indoors are significant and would need to be addressed for events like weddings where hearing speeches and connecting with others is essential.

The acoustics are better outside; once you go inside it echoes quite a bit. It's a small space, but they do a nice job to make it inviting and attractive. The soda shop has an impressively large menu and they will also whip up whatever you can create-so you're sure to find something you like. I'm looking forward to attending other events here in the future.

When we had meetings at the venue for wedding planning inquires she would always have to leave the meeting early because she was busy with something else. I feel if you're helping plan a wedding you should plan your days out more precisely since there is a lot of money on the line. The coordinator and the owner of the venue were never on the same page regarding what times we could be there the day of and the day before. The coordinator would tell us one thing and then the owner would tell us another. Also if you want alcohol for your special day, fore warning but this venue will charge you a $500 dollar fee and also make you get a licensed and insured bartender to open alcohol for you at the wedding(even if you're just having beer and seltzer). So in total you might spend almost a $1000 extra on top of the $5,200 just for the venue, bartender, and alcohol all together. They were very strict with us not being able to come in to our own wedding to set up decorations unless it was the day before from 7pm-9pm Also the day of the wedding we weren't able to come in the building to continue decorating until 3 pm and we had to be out by 10 pm otherwise we would get charged an extra $75 per hour. Also while our ceremony and reception and photos were going on they still were allowing customers to come through for food and ice cream and to buy items from the shop on the other side. I feel when we pay these people over $5,500 for the venue, they could at least not have people interrupting us while we are having our special day.

I got the cheesesteak and the cheeseburger slider. Both were seasoned very good and I enjoyed both of them. I would definitely come back and order those again. I personally preferred the cheeseburger one a little bit more, however, I really enjoyed the flavors of the pepper and onions in the cheesesteak one. The bun was buttered and cooked on the grill. It was super soft! I saw that they had a lot of chicken dishes and have other reviews about those. I would like to try those out sometime as well. We also ordered a regular and sweet potato fry. I personally felt that the regular fries needed a little bit more salt. The sweet potato fries were very flavorful and I really liked them. I'm glad that I finally got around to trying the restaurant! I definitely would come back for a quick lunch.
