Hollywood 20, are you guys trying anymore?…read more It bums me out so bad but it needs to be said: I no longer recommend coming here. We went on opening weekend to the biggest movie - one of the most anticipated of the entire year - at prime viewing time and our auditorium was small and honestly, not great. The projector seemed dim, the screen very obviously needed cleaning, and the sound was extremely lacking. (Auditorium 8 at 6:30pm on a Friday night, for reference.) And on top of that the theatre was hotter than hell for no reason other than it seemed AC was not running at all. What a letdown especially because I have been loudly recommending this place to friends and family for a decade. This place still has their points program and clean bathrooms and their popcorn was delicious but everything else was such a bummer. And to add insult to injury, they switched from Coca-Cola to Pepsi. *sigh* I don't know if this is all due to new management or if they're going through a tough time but y'all really need to get it together before you lose more customers.

The chairs are comfortable. The definitely upgraded. They are spacious and they also recline. This make the moving watching experience even greater! They have the traditional movie food including hot dogs, nachos, pretzels, popcorn, etc. The price points are average for a movie theater. The staff is always helpful and the facilities are always clean. Great spot to watch a movie alone or with the family!

We arrived early…read morebecause we had heard this location had a bar, and we thought it would be nice to grab a drink and some food before the movie. It was our first time visiting this downtown location, so we were excited to give it a try. Unfortunately, our first impression wasn't great. When we walked in, there were two employees at the front ticket desk, both with their heads down on their phones. Neither acknowledged us with a hello, welcome, or even looked up as we entered. We eventually found the bar toward the back. The menu was actually a decent size, offering both food and alcoholic beverages. We ordered the fish and chips, nachos, and a couple of drinks. One small issue was that the bartender never asked what type of meat we wanted on the nachos (pork or chicken), and the menu didn't indicate there was a choice. As for the drinks, they were just okay. Mine tasted more like a Sweet Tart than an actual cocktail and wasn't particularly memorable. Our food was packaged for us to take into the theater, which was convenient. We also noticed a wood-fired oven that I assume is used for their pizzas, which looked promising. The next hiccup came when it was time to have our tickets scanned. There was one older employee handling the line, and the process moved incredibly slowly. Something that should have taken seconds ended up taking close to ten minutes due to the pace of the line. The theater itself was nice. It was spacious, the reclining seats were comfortable, and the sound quality during the movie was very good. Unfortunately, the food was the biggest disappointment of the night. The nachos were, honestly, a complete miss--covered in excessive nacho cheese with what tasted like mystery BBQ meat. We each took one bite and threw the rest away because we knew we weren't going to enjoy it. The fish seemed fresh, but it had absolutely no seasoning or flavor whatsoever. The fries, however, were fresh and ended up being the only part of the meal I actually ate. We ended up buying popcorn and candy instead. Overall, the theater itself was comfortable, and the sound quality was great, but nothing about the overall experience really stood out enough to make me want to drive all the way downtown again. With improvements in customer service and food quality, I think this place has potential, but based on this visit, it just wasn't worth the trip for

You're exhausted, still recovering, but you push through to show up for your kid and create a normal moment. At first, I overlooked her short, rude demeanor, assuming she may have been overwhelmed. But when we handed our movie passes, cast member Tiffany held each one up in the air as if inspecting a $20 bill, then called for a manager on her walkie without saying anything. We stood there confused, and when I asked if there was a problem, she said, "We're about to see." We stepped aside so we wouldn't hold up the line and watched other guests be warmly greeted and helped. The manager came, asked a question or two, and told her to check us out, but Tiffany didn't. She continued helping others while we stood there waiting respectfully, not trying to cause a scene, feeling embarrassed as people looked at us, wondering what was going on. It wasn't until my husband spoke up that she finally helped us. The delay wasn't the issue. It was the lack of communication and the way we were made to feel. We were treated with suspicion rather than respect, as though we had done something wrong. Customer service isn't just about selling tickets. It's about treating people with dignity, explaining what's happening, and showing basic kindness. You never know what someone may be going through.

I went tonight and it was awful. Nothing about it was scary at all. We got shoved into groups of up to 15 and it lade the experience awful. You could hear and see jump scares from the front of the line so you were never scared. THE LIGHTS IN THE ACTUAL HAUNTED HOUSE WERE SO BRIGHT. WHY! Last time it was pitch black and you literally had to feel your way through the maze. The front person held a glow stick for light and that was about it. It was pretty bad. Bad waste of money. I had fun with my friends but it's a huge waste of money. Do not go.

As of the time of this review it contains four haunts, one stand alone and the other is a three in one. ALL are fantastic! For $30 you get admission to one haunt but for a mere $5 more you get all four, so why wouldn't you do that? In fact for $15 more you get VIP line access to all four, which on a busy night would be totally with it! They make a conscious effort to distribute patrons between the two cues so wait time is minimized but of course on a busy night you could wait for a bit if you choose GA. Regardless, these are worth the wait. These are theater quality sets, with well trained acting staff, and professional makeup. We chose the behind the scenes tour for $70 per ticket which included VIP access to all four haunts, once we finished and the lights went out. I didn't know what to expect, but Ethan, who is the creative director, gave us our tour and it was also fantastic! We arrived about two hours prior to lights out with the tour start time scheduled to start at around 1.5 hours prior to lights out. Ethan started early and went long! We toured the main haunt and were shown things like how the scare boxes worked, the lighting, how the sets were built, he talked about the mechanics behind the sets, we saw makeup and costuming as the actors were getting ready as well as the workshop. He also walked us through the other three haunts albeit with less detail as opening was approaching! I'd been through professional haunts before so I knew they were high quality but I had absolutely no idea how much went into producing and running one! Very impressive. The tour is well worth it but at the very least you need to experience their work. Parking is good, well lit, monitored by MPD, security is employed starting in the parking lot so, while we went in the back door and bypassed all that, I could tell it was super safe.
