Love the live music in this bar! It's one of the last places around you can hear local bands. I don't love that you can smoke inside because we always leave smelling like an ash tray but I get it's part of the lore. We come about once a year around 11 pm with a group after a night out and always order the same thing: pepperoni pizza with ranch and bang bang chicken. Both are so consistent and delicious we always say why don't we come here for lunch ever?? Love the food!!! read more

Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon to grab some lunch and a beer. Local smoky neighborhood sports dive bar. Lot people there ... but service was great. I sat at the bar and enjoyed the 'atmosphere'... which is weird because this isn't an 'atmosphere' place. But it was just laid back and I liked it. The five stars is really because of the Ruben sandwhich I had... that was legit, one of the best I've ever had ( and I'm 55+ ) Come here and get this ... or just the corned beef sandwich , you won't be disappointed read more

Went for lunch Thursday. Had the quesadilla my guest with me had chicken tenders. Service was as always, fast and 100% accurate. Food was good. Never had a bad meal at any TJ's. Ambience was the same it's been for 20+ years. Not a single thing to complain about. read more

I'd have given them 5 stars on the Rueban. It was really excellent. Service was slow. They were busy and there were only two people serving tables. One of them was doubling as bartender. I wonder if they're short staffed or if they prefer staying busy in order to avoid sharing tips with a third person. I wouldn't complain about the condition that an individual leaves a bathroom, but this was disgusting. It was the result of years of neglect. It smelled really bad like a sewer too. And not because of what somebody did. This must be a horrible indication of the condition of the kitchen. I thought potato soup was their signature dish. I've been ordering it at least 20 years. Well, now it's gone. There's no soup at all on the menu. read more

This is a great local bar/restaurant. The food goes beyond your typical pub grub and you can find some great menu items. My favorite appetizers are the fried pickle chips and the boom boom chicken (spicy and fried, what more can you ask for!) The Reuben is the best in town, you can get it with corned beef or smoked turkey. It's also a great place for a plate lunch. I usually get the veggie plate or the turkey and dressing. Each day has different specials. The only drawback for me is that it is a smoking restaurant/bar. If I am going here for a meal I usually sit outside to avoid the smoke or I get it to go. It's a fun place for live music, watching a game and for their other various weekly events, like Cornhole Thursday. The outdoor patio is nice when the weather cooperates and this is the place to be on St. Patrick's Day! read more

The usual bar atmosphere and with pool tables and live bands on the weekends. The crowd can be a little "rough around the edges", so not exactly the kind of place I frequent. But it's fun to go with friends on occasion when my friends bug me into it. The atmosphere is usually pretty lively and they do a good job of booking decent bands. And the food is actually not bad at all, although they don't have a large menu. I like the quesadillas. read more

It's been almost 2 years since I've been here, but I just ran across an old email that I started writing to the manager of this place, and it lit my fuse! This place was not worth going to at all! If the manager sees this review, please feel free to contact me and I'll gladly call you back! I absolutely Love the TJ M's in Quince, but when I brought my 2 employees in this location to sit, relax, and have a few after work drinks and dinners, we were treated like crap! Courtney the bartender was pretty cool, but the other girls were horrible people. I will gladly give the Quince location 5 stars, but as for this snooty, smokey, bad version of TJ's, y'all get a well deserved 1 star. Sorry Courtney if you're still working there. They just don't make great bars like Mulligans any more. It is a truly unique and fun bar/restaurant . This place is excellent and about my favorite place to unwind after work. All of the food is outstanding. The appetizers, wings, hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, even the salads are delicious. The cooks take pride in making every meal perfect. Even though it is your normal bar food, it is exceptional in my opinion. Mulligans just just got a 90 plus on its health score which is not a surprise because it is always clean. I find it hard to decide what to order because everything on the menu is so good. If you come for lunch be sure to try their great plate lunches. These are often homemade from their own recipes. The turkey and dressing is my favorite. The prices are also very reasonable. The service is excellent, attentive, and friendly. I have been going there for years and have never had a bad experience. The waitresses and especially the bartenders always provide excellent service. Oh and did I mention they are all drop dead gorgeous. The atmosphere reminds me of a cross between the TV show bar "Cheers" and a fun frat house. You can always find someone you know at the bar to share a drink with. Everyone is very friendly and it is a great place to meet new people as well. It's not unusual to find someone buying crazy shots for everyone at the bar. If it's your birthday and someone finds out, odds are you will receive an unexpected drink. It is this generous, friendly relaxed atmosphere that makes Mulligans truly unique. The employees often come up to eat or have drinks with their friends on their days off. That should tell you a lot about how the employees value this great pub. You also can't beat Mulligans on game day as they must have 30 high definition big screens and they are happy to find your game. Finally, they have a nice patio if you just want to chill on a nice summer night. If you are looking for a friendly, fun bar with great food and service. On the weekends this place is packed! So packed that parking is an issue. Even the empty lot next door fills up with cars. I guess this is because Tj Mulligans is the only game around for miles. It's a very poplar hangout for folks living in the far burbs. The patio is decent, the music is usually decent... the food however, sucks as does the service! Its not uncommon to find one staff member behind the bar struggling to keep up and one staff member trying to cover the entire patio. This is ridiculous! It takes way too long to get a drink. As for the food... I ordered hot wings recently (of course) and I couldn't believe how sad they were. Hardly any wing sauce at all. When I asked my server for more wing sauce she informed me that I would be charged extra. How nice to be charged extra for sauce that you were shorted in the first place. When the bill came that night we discovered that we were also charged for an extra beer and two appetizers! It took our server three attempts to get the the bill straightened out. read more

This use to be my favorite bar. I sure wish I knew when NOT to come in. Our server Saturday night was more interested in her phone and talking with others while smoking at their table than earning a tip from us. Kids these days don't know what hard work is. We were also told that if we didn't give her our cards to start a tab, we could only be served at the bar? What rule is this? I don't like giving my card for tabs started since in the past I'm always charged for drinks and shots that aren't ours. Our food took almost an hour to arrive and it was cold. All night I had to ask the bar for our drinks, so I should have just sat there to begin with. Bring pepper back on Saturday nights please. We'd all be happy then. read more

Great service. Drinks are served as soon as you sit down, and the food is always good. I eat here a few times a week and always enjoy it. The staff is always friendly and there are specials every day. Pool, darts, live music and every game on tv you could ask for. Best TJ Mulligans location in the Memphis area! P.S.- if you go to a smoking bar expecting to not smell smoke, then maybe alcohol is not the best addition to your already diminished brain cell count :) read more

DO NOT GO! The manger literally hung up the phone on me when I called to see if they might have found my wallet that I left on the table. She was right down rude and disrespectful. I have traveled to many countries during my 27 year active duty military career and I would say that this place is one of the dirtiest I have ever had the displeasure of visiting. I used bathrooms in third world countries that were cleaner. My wife had to leave (before we received our food thank goodness) because she was scared she might catch a fungus from the female bathroom. I tell all of my family, friends and anyone that wants to listen to stay away from this this rudely and poorly managed, filthy establishment. Spend your hard earned money on a customer friendly, clean, and properly managed Pub. There are many to choose from. To the owner of this place, well I hope you are visiting your investment - fire your manager - get someone to manage this place before it goes under. I will not be back. EVER! read more
