I phoned the shop and got an employee who said that she remembered the order and that the Uber driver was given detailed directions, yet there was no manager on site and there was nothing she could do. Nadine then said she would try to reach the manager to troubleshoot. She phoned me back minutes later. Likely, she did not reach a manger, but said that she asked another employee to come in and cover for her while she personally delivers the cake. A business's success is dependent on its employees. They are its heart and determine whether or not it will build loyal customers and succeed. Nothing Bundt Cakes is a great brand that offers expected product consistency at all locations, but it's the people that set a specific location apart from others. The milkshakes at this location are genuinely and confoundingly bad. The consistency of the "shake" is essentially just liquid. No mass or weight, no peaks or solidity. The ratio of milk to ice cream feels like 99:1. Devastating from a renown and respected brand. What a waste to use a fantastic product by basically diluting it down to flavored milk. I now know what NOT to order at one of my favorite chains and find it sad that I've found a gaping hole in the menu.

Most of the time people are decent letting me back out of my spot, but there's always a few cars who just won't leave an opening. Service is always super fast, no matter how many people are in line or waiting. There's a few benches so seating so you eat there. It's always brightly lit too. I've been there with a long drive thru line where cars are backed up on Rand Rd., but don't let that deter you from going- the car line moves super fast! Just pull up the menu while you wait so you know what you want when an employee walks up to your car to take your order. Speaking of the employees taking your order - they are all super friendly, they have a smile no matter how hot or cold it is outside, and they're so patient waiting for everyone to order. I think they must have a kindness, happy, friendly detector because this Andy's has all the nicest people working here. Even the people at the window and walk up! You see them working it together in harmony inside as they make each order. It is an impressive team, no matter what time of the day we go and how busy it gets! They work like really like their job AND each other (I'm kinda jealous!) The frozen custard is so smooth and creamy.
