If there are cookies, you can count me in! We came by to try Dirty Dough to try their cookies and some of this week's specials. Located in the corner of the plaza in Buffalo grove it gets hidden if you aren't looking for it. But when you walk in you're invited to a warm aroma of cookies and endless dirty soda possibilities. We got the four classic cookies and the bliss and cookie butter one. For my drink I got the Caribbean Crush which tastes like a pina colada without the alcohol. The chocolate chip cookie is a true classic, light fluffy and even better when it's warm. The cookies are huge and definitely fun to share so you can try more flavors. My second favorite is the Brookie the caramel filling is delicious! All in all, we had a great experience and can't wait to come back and try other flavors soon!

This is a dirty soda place, which I have never tried before. I actually usually don't drink soda so this was an interesting experience for me. I got the brookie which was very good. I also got one of their cookies which taste mostly like a sugar cookie to me, but was very dense and large. I also ran into a fellow yelper.

I had heard a lot of buzz about Dirty Dough Cookies and wanted to try it out for myself. The shop is small with only a counter where you place your order. I ordered the original chocolate chip cookie and the reverse, which is a chocolate and peanut butter flavored cookie. The chocolate chip cookie was below average. I consider getting the basics right important and I was disappointed with this cookie. The cookie did not have a lot of chocolate or sugar and wasn't memorable. The reverse was a much better cookie. It was rich and had a lot of flavor. The price was exorbitant for cookies that are average at best at $5 a piece. I cannot recommend Dirty Dough Cookies.

Service was friendly and courteous. It was very easy talking and finding out about the establishment. The dirty dough cookies were interested with a variety of fillings. The dirty drinks were more excited and intriguing to my taste. The shop was clean and well lit. Only thing missing was a something to dispute the little trash, but all in all no complaints.

Unique cookie and drink offerings. The cookie we had was great as it's not overwhelmingly sweet like similar shops. It's buttery and doughy and soft. The drink is soda based with extra flavors, refreshing. Price is comparable to similar places.

I don't think I have ever been to a store like this before, but I am glad I stopped by. I thought the cookies and drinks were very good. The cookies were warm, soft, and gooey and the drinks were very flavorful. I really have no complaints. The staff member was very friendly and patient with us as we needed some time to look over the menu and had a couple of questions. The store is located near the Original Bagel & Bialy and there is plenty of parking. There is only one table with two chairs inside so be prepared to take your cookie home or perhaps eat it outside.

Dirty Dough is Buffalo Grove's answer to Crumbl Cookies in Wheeling. Dirty Dough is a similar concept -- cookies can be purchased as singles or in packs. A difference is that DD cookies are thicker than Crumbl's, with a similar diameter. The staff was friendly and efficient. These cookies are enormous -- definitely a dessert rather than a quick snack. They can also be cut to share or save a potion for later. On my first visit, I went in without a plan, and made my selection based on the appearance of the display cookies. I chose a Reverse cookie, which is a giant peanut butter cookie stuffed with a chocolate cookie and a fudge filling at the center. I really enjoyed it. Check out their menu -- they have 4 classic cookies that are always available (including Reverse), plus a few additional cookies that change each week. I'll be back to try more!

Thanks to Yelp I found another gem on a late Saturday afternoon, and this visit totally satisfied my sweet tooth! I was greeted right away as I entered. The girl at the counter was really friendly, knowledgeable and made great recommendations. She also gave me time to decide on what I wanted as they have so many options to choose from that are all amazing. I ended up getting the Caribbean Crush dirty soda for my partner - it's got pineapple juice, coconut and Sprite. My partner loved it - they are a big fan of the combination that makes up the drink. I tried a couple sips, and it's actually not bad for someone like me who doesn't love coconut like that - it also wasn't super sweet. It's a combination that I didn't know would go so well together, so I'm so glad I tried something new. I also got a total of 5 cookies - a red velvet, a Brookie, the reverse, cookies n' crème and the smirk. They have weekly cookie specials where they come up with creative flavors. They make everything in house, and I love that the cookie was so warm, fresh, and soft. I really love the Brookie, Smirk and the reverse. The red velvet and cookies n crème were not bad but I think I expected it to be a certain way. They also have one table with two chairs for anyone who opts to hang out/enjoy their cookie there fresh off the press, though they are primarily a grab and go spot. They sell their cookies in 1, 4, 6 or 12. This is honestly dessert heaven as they have ice cream, shakes, and other beverages. You'll have to come see for yourself! They are located in a strip mall, and there's also plenty of free parking on premise shared with other businesses. I'd totally come back when I'm in the area next, and I'd recommend it to anyone in the area with a sweet tooth.

It looks exactly like the other previous establishments with one exception: snack bags of Lays BBQ potato chips. Yep. You read that correctly. Bags of BBQ chips. We asked why they had them. Perhaps for those that don't like ice cream? Nope. People like to crush them up and put them on their ice cream. What the what?! There are 6 stations for frozen yogurt (I think) which means there are 18 possibilities (two flavors and 1 twist per station) however, there were 4 missing flavors and those that shared stations were weird except for one: chocolate and strawberry. There was a vanilla and a cheesecake twist. Yuck. And a pomegranate passionfruit mixed with Mango surprise. Gross. They just had a lot of blah flavors and nothing exciting. They did have a crapload of boba, mostly strawberry and some black ones, green ones and yellow ones. The labels were half on and half off so it was hard to read what they had. They did have a bunch of larger toppings like half sections of rice Krispy treats, large marshmellows, brownie bites, and more larger bites. There was Hershey chocolate sauce and a caramel sauce plus canned whipped cream (but it was warm sitting on top of the acrylic shelves holding the bags of chips). Yet the weirdest thing at Sweets Cafe was the gentleman working the register & scale. After each party paid for their froyo treats, he grabbed a napkin and then wiped each nozzle on the frozen yogurt machines. With the same napkin on all the machines. We watched him do this five times. A person would pay, he'd then grab a napkin and wipe the nozzles of each machine using that one napkin. Not very sanitary. He was quite diligent in this task. And then he'd use some cleaning agent to wile the counters and floors (again using napkins). The odor was pungent. Something you don't want to smell when indulging in any kind of sweets. I don't think this place will last. I wonder what will take its place.

One of my favorite things in the world is Taro so getting a Taro freeze with boba and clear jelly sounds like heaven to me. This is exactly what I got and it was delicious! It wasn't too cold and while there was boba, it didn't overpower the drink itself and neither did the jelly. As expected, this place is overpowered by little youngins with a sweet tooth but I can't blame them. It's not like they made the wait any more longer or shorter. The customer service was good and quick, nothing to complain about. I will continue to come here when I have a boba itch. I've also tried their bingsu which was also really good but....alot. It's packed with red beans which are sweet and delicious, ice cream and fresh fruit. I know for a fact, I cannot finish it on my own so I suggest sharing it with someone else. Other than that, it is certainly a delectable and yummy dessert. Highly recommend. Overall, I will continue to keep coming back here for you Lincolnshire/BG locals, I would encourage you to do the same. Prices are decent and your sweet tooth will be satisfied for sure!
