The hubby & I made the drive from OC to the Corona location. The shop is hidden behind Buffalo Wild Wings, next to the movie theater. There's 4 or 5 tables inside to sit and enjoy your dessert, and many areas outside, weather permitting. We visited the store during the week before noon, and we were the only customers. The manager explained the "build your own" cinnomon roll menu and also shared about the seasonal menu items. We chose 3 different rolls to share. The Carmel Apple and the Strawberries and Cream, which are regular menu items, and the seasonal, Peach Cobbler. All were fantastic, but my fave was the Carmel Apple. They are huge, warm and delicious! One is probably shareable for three ladies. Very filling and rich. I tried all three, but finished the Strawberries & Cream, which negated the one hour I spent on the elliptical at gym right beforehand! Oh well! I liked all the various roll choices, and the build your own is a great idea! They also had minis, which would be great for parties, cookies, and a cake type thing. They didn't have too many drink offerings, mainly coffee and water, but that's all you really need to wash down a Cinnomon roll right! The Mgr said the rolls are vegan , but not gluten free, which was the one disappointing thing about this place. I hope they reconsider this in the future so people with celiac disease can enjoy these wonderful treats as well! The rolls were around $8 each; although a little pricey, your getting a sizable dessert with various ingredients like fruit, some type of frosting, and nuts, like pecans. Was really disappointed when after spending $7.24 on a peanut butter topping cinnamon roll, I was greeter by a tiny, lukewarm version that was hard on the outside and only a bit softer inside. It may have been sitting in a holding bin for some time, as it was about 8:30 p.m. Next time I will save my money and go to the always reliable Cinnabon with LARGE, hot, ooey, gooey super yummy buns for a lesser price. Claiming it's made to order would easily mean I walk in, I order and I wait, so then why was one already ready and sold to me? Won't be back. Nice try though. Stopped by this place on my way home around 4 PM todaybecause I love Cinnabon and was excited to see this open in corona. I wanted to purchase two cinnamon rolls but then was told it would be a 14 minute wait for the second one since he needed to bake some more. Excuse me what? Just stopped by to get cinnamon rolls (we've had some at the Berkeley and L.A. bakeries), and we had to leave. The cashier was in the middle of either making a roll, or doing something with the toppings--she wiped her GLOVED hands on her dirty apron, then proceeded to touch the register screen, and grab a marker with the SAME gloved hands. I asked her to give me a minute so I could look at the menu (I wanted to see if she would change her gloves), and she went back to the cookie crumbs and started digging into them with the SAME dirty gloves. This is a huge health code violation--this is how people get sick. No thank you, we will never come back, which is sad because we eat vegan all the time and live supporting local businesses. I'll stick to our known favorites: Monty's, Donut Friend, and Plant Power Fresh. The cinnamon rolls we've had in Berkeley and Los Ángeles location were great. I know I could have asked her to change her gloves, but I can't trust what's there if this is how she handles food in front of a customer. I've worked food service and have my food handlers prep license. I know a clean business with workers educated on safe food handling practices--this is not making the cut, unfortunately. My husband suggested I leave a Yelp and email the company so that hopefully they will re-educate their employees. That's all fine, but it's a no for me for the foreseeable future. read more

Every time I tried another cinnamon roll, it always seemed to never compare to Cinnabon. But Cinnaholic...heavenly and my new guilty pleasure. There's such a difference I saw was that the rolls were much more moist, tons of cinnamon, frosting, and hmmm the butta! My family loves the Cookie Monster. This roll puts cookie dough on top of the roll. To which I might also add, their cookie dough is so good! You can buy a pound of separately (something I occasionally do). For me, I'm love the Ol Skool roll with vanilla frosting. Anyone that gave Cinnaholic a low star rating, doesn't know the elements to a great cinnamon roll. I can understand that you may not like the other extra added toppings. But even if you tried their Ol Skool roll, you should clearly see that Cinnabon has real competition. Cinnabon uses margarine while Cinnaholic is using nothing but butter. It's so good, since I've tried Cinnaholic, I've never returned to Cinnabon again.
