I'm so happy we got this place. I could just smell the sugar walking into the place. So amazing. There is a parking lot out front that is free. It can be hard to get in and out depending on the traffic. You may have to go a different direction first and turn around. The people there were very helpful and gave some good suggestions. My crew bought 4. They were all made to order. Nothing just sitting around. We got a create your own that was a suggestion from the lady at the register which was the strawberry cheesecake one. Bought two of those. We had the Oreo one and also a banana one. They were all amazing. I think my fav was the banana one but they all were delicious. We will definitely be back to try more options.

My coworker was talking about how delicious this place was. She talked it up so much I had to go check it out after work. I was immediately greeted by friendly faces. I was a little overwhelmed by all the choices but eventually chose the salted caramel cinnamon roll. It was good but my taste buds were flooded with too many flavors. I can't remember the name of it. I purchased some of the plain/unfrosted cinnamon rolls. With cake batter and creme brulee frosting. My husband and I loved the plain cinnamon rolls warmed up. I will definitely be back. They have cookie dough, brownies and cookies as well.

The shop was cute! Had a big display of all their offerings. Customer service was great, it was our first time in and they did a fantastic job of explaining the menu and giving us suggestions. My hubby and I split the apple pie cinnamon roll, my hubby really enjoyed it but I wasn't a huge fan, had an artificial caramel taste. I did enjoy that it was made with fresh apples though. I'd go back and try the original roll next time, I think I'm a plain roll kinda gal, but if you like all the extra goodies on your roll you should give them a try.

    That disappeared fast!

I used to go to Cinnaholic in Atlanta when I lived there, and I'm so excited to have one close to home again! Every employee was super kind and friendly, and they even gave me the frosting on the side as I asked (too much sugar at once makes me feel bad). They were perfect for me with no frosting at all! Very happy customer, will be back. Oh yeah and it's VEGAN which means I can eat it! Yay!!

Friendly service, yummy smells! First time in. Decided on a to go order of a dozen minis with caramel icing to take to GNO tonight. Also two regular cinnamon rolls, one with chai icing and one with regular cream cheese icing for home. Looking forward to sampling!

    Very sweet but really good

The food was great. Can't tell it's vegan. Some are very sweet. The service was great. Everyone was friendly and patient. I think the inside is small but has nice ambiance to it still.

THIS IS HOW BREAKFAST IS DONE!…read more I'm always looking for the local flavor that stands out among the crowd and Breakfast AF (cool name btw), really held true to their brand. Situated an easy drive from downtown, and part of the Schnitzeltown are of Louisville, this apparently was a legacy deli counter back in the heyday and the original corner Hauck's deli sign is still visible. The expansion seems to include a few bars, a pizza joint, breakfast joint, and a revised deli with a smoker actively going at the end of the complex. And it is complex... we sat out front on the patio of the breakfast joint since we had the pup with us, but had I known how large the rear patio was, we would've chosen to sit back there away from the road traffic. I the menu is straightforward... the fare is on the higher side of breakfast pricing, but the portions are enormous and I easily made two meals off my sandwich and home fries. Speaking of which... get it... wich... okay fine. I chose the fried chicken/bacon/egg sandwich on Texas toast and it was... substantial. I added home fries, but honestly, the sandwich was a meal on and of itself. The two succulent chicken tenders exploded with flavor of a distinctive savoriness and that flavor peaked when I dipped them in maple syrup (they have a dispenser next to the coffee pots). The egg and bacon were perfectly cooked, complemented each other well, and the buttery toast just pulled it all together. My wife chose the shrimp-n-grits and that was just a flavor bomb with every bite. Savory grits with the slightly sweet shrimp, topped with smoked pork belly, and drizzled with a chili crisp oil that simply overwhelmed the tastebuds with every bite. It's a line order with pagers, so place your order, grab a table, and the coffee/water is self serve over across from order pickup. The back patio is open air, expansive, and spans the entirety of the multi space front buildings. There's even a soft surface children's playground behind the new deli. I was just absolutely astounded and definitely want to make it back to try their lunch fare next time I'm in town!

The space has a cool, artistic vibe, the staff is welcoming, and it's the kind of place you want to linger at with a second cup of coffee. Whether you're a local or visiting, put this on your list!

I went to Foko after hearing nonstop hype about it being one of the absolute best breakfast spots…read morein Louisville. The place is positioned as this incredible Mexican breakfast destination, so I figured it had to be something special. Turns out it's just standard Mexican food and drinks. Even if they were using using "the freshest most highest quality ingredients", it doesn't show in the final product at all. Heres what i got: The Espresso Martini ($14) was actually decent--nice and foamy with a solid chocolate note. The Carajillo ($8), on the other hand, was weak. It tasted like plain iced coffee with zero detectable alcohol. I wouldn't order it again. The Wake Up Burrito $14: their biggest hype item. I got it and added chorizo for $3.50, bringing the total to nearly $17.50. It's sausage, cheese, eggs, and beans wrapped up--pretty good, but nothing groundbreaking. Without their green sauce it's completely average, no different from any regular breakfast burrito at a diner. The green sauce itself is what really the only saving grace, but they serve it in tiny thimble-size portions like they're guarding some secret recipe. So for $18 you get a medium-size burrito plus a couple of fried tortillas with cheese on the side. Compare that to mexican spot like Bandito, where the burritos are twice the size and cost much less. This one is seriously overrated. The Chilaquiles - I got the side order of these with the burrito, and were average at best. Just fried tortillas with cheese and a little sauce that had a slightly sour edge. Not bad, but nothing I'd call amazing. I thought to myself, if these had egg and beans(what the main dish has) , would I have been glad to pay $17? The answer is no. Ive had better at the airport. Bottom line: Foko is incredibly overrated. It feels like a tourist trap built for people for those Luisville people who who don't eat much Mexican food and think this is the pinnacle. I get it, the decor is nice and gives that "premium" feel but the prices are way too high for what you actually get. I won't be back.

It was bitter cold outside so instead of my usual margarita ($14+) I opted for a beer ($6). We started with the salsa trio, one of my favorites with handmade assorted chips. It includes three salsas, somewhat spicy, sweet tomato and tomatillo - the spicy and sweet were my favorites. Next we ordered the tacos el carbon and carbon burrito - pricing is expensive! We both ordered our steaks medium rare. My tacos had a beautiful presentation, the meat came out on a skewer and smoking from the hot coals. All toppings were repeated on the plate. The steak was overcooked and tough though. Had a nice smoke to it, but very chewy. My husband enjoyed his burrito but wasn't the best he's ever had.
