As a lover of both donuts and ice cream, this was an exciting experience. While independently the donuts weren't the greatest in the world when heated and paired with the ice cream it was tasty. One is more than enough and these are not donuts I would eat again the next day. The staff was super kind and patient with my nephew and made it a great experience for him. Yonuts Review If Instagram and a sugar rush had a baby, it'd be Yonuts. This place is a vibe--bright, colorful, and made for selfies, with wall art and sugary combos designed to go viral. I tried the Caramel Smashed Biscotti and it was hands-down the best of the bunch--rich caramel flavor, crispy cookie texture, and a nice sweet-salty balance that actually worked. A win. The Cookies & Cream Smash looked good on paper: Oreo frosting drizzle, cookies & cream ice cream, Oreo pieces... but somehow still underwhelming. Maybe too much of a good thing on a plain, meh donut base. Speaking of donuts--they use a basic, airy donutsfor the smashes, and it doesn't really hold up. My friend got the coffee ice cream on a sugared donut which was better, but still just okay. If you're the target audience (aka a teen with a phone and a sweet tooth), you'll probably love it. But if you're chasing flavor over filters, it might not live up to the hype. Would I go back? So fair food is something that I always enjoy and yet sometimes it can be a bit pricey yet also very delicious. YoNutz Donuts & Ice Cream reminds me of a brick & mortar fair food style place. Their menu consists of a nice variety of fair style food such as their main attraction smashed donuts which are filled with your choice of eight different flavors of ice cream and these happen to be very, very delicious as they are also covered in cinnamon sugar. Also on their menu are some breakfast sandwiches which look very delicious and even though I did not have one on this trip I'll certainly be back to try one. They also have a drink they call a Yo Refresher which is essentially a fruit juice style of drink which also looks very delicious. The employees here are very friendly and will answer any of your questions. The environment here is very chill and a nice size offering the right amount of tables with chairs to sit at. The prices here are very good. You can get two of their simply smashed donuts for $10 but they also offer special flavored donuts that are also smashed with ice cream of your choice. YoNutz is a place I can certainly see myself returning to and one that I absolutely recommend you check out if you're a fan of sweet fair food such as myself. read more

The fact that a previous overpriced donut place (duck donuts) was in this exact spot and then another over priced donuts moves in just doesn't seem like a smart idea to me. The doughnut dough itself was nice. But they were underfilled (maybe a tablespoon of filling for a very large donut). The plain glazed was dry. And the coffee was terrible: watery, didn't smell or taste of coffee, and was so metallic. The donuts look great and the descriptions are appealing. But the execution wasn't there. read more

I've been here several times, and had a great experience each time, until last night. I ordered 2 boxes of donuts through an app, drove 20 minutes, and showed up 10 minutes before close (within my assigned pick-up time,) to find the lights turned off. I don't know about anyone else, but I'm not assuming a business is open when the storefront is totally dark. I canceled my order in the app, and pulled off at 8:55, only to see someone locking the doors. When I called this morning, I was told they were still open, even with the lights off, and that no, they closed at 9. No offer to make it right, no apology. This is really disappointing. read more

My son was dying to come here after waiting for weeks! He knew exactly what he wanted to order once we got here. The donuts looked beautiful and tasted great! The cashier provided excellent customer service and greeted everyone entering from the front. They just opened so are still learning and trying their best. We were disappointed that the Hella Nutella milkshake looked nothing like the picture besides the little donut sitting on top. They didn't bother wiping down the excess milkshake that was dripping on the outside of the plastic container. The biscoff smash donut was good, the mango refresher was good but nothing special. The new donut shop in Middletown. I've been twice since they have been opened. It's hard to pass when you are trying to unbig your back for the summer. I tried the Biscoff Cookie Butter smashed donut. It was sooo good. I have never had a donut ice cream sandwich before. My first thought was that it was going to be too sweet for me, but it was just right. The second time that I went I tried the cookies and cream smashed and banana pudding filled donut. Out of all three the Biscoff cookie butter is the best. I like how they give you color changing spoons with your smashed donuts. I talked about the Biscoff cookie butter donut so much that my mother had to try it too. read more

Not understanding all the negative reviews. If I could give half stars, I would; but I'll round up to four. Good portions and pricing, nothing overly gimmicky or complicated. Husband and myself ordered the Simply Smashed donuts 2/$10. I got coffee ice cream, he got cookies and cream. Both tasted yummy. Ordering was easy, received our food quickly. The color/temperature changing spoons were a nice touch. Would definitely return, just wish they had one closer to us in Southern Indiana. read more

I give a two for service / employees / cleanliness etc etc....its a new opening so workers were active/good. The product is not great but ok. Twelve bucks for three donuts (non ice ones) is high but we gave it a try. It's just not worth it. They weren't tasty or memorable (they should be at that amount). It was okay!! Being that the shop is in the east end, it was a little out of the way for me and my boyfriend but we didn't mind as we were in the mood for a sweet treat. We came in and were greeted by an older man who took our order. I asked if they had anymore of the strawberry sprinkle donuts to which they said no but they could whip us up one quickly which was an incredibly nice gesture as my mom's heart was absolutely set on it lol!! We ordered the rest of our items... a Nutella smashed donut, a regular glazed, and a banana pudding milkshake which came out to 24 bucks. A little pricey but I kinda expected it honestly. My Nutella smash donut was really good but very messy. I tried to take a bite in the shop and got Oreo everywhere my dad enjoyed his milkshake A LOT and finished it in under 5 minutes so I'm pretty sure it's a five star from him!! I just went earlier today, I was very excited because the menu looked very good. I ordered the tiramisu shake and it didn't look like the pictures which didn't bother me very much but the real problem was that the shake wasn't even full, maybe around a quarter was empty. That was a little crazy for almost $10. The donuts were okay. They just get soggy honestly and it wasn't even cut all the way through so half of the top came off of the other donut when I picked up one side.
