This review is only for their Pineapple Dole Whip! I know that Cinnaholic is known for their cinnamon rolls/buns but I've only just had their Pineapple Dole Whip and it was great! It's $3.50 for a 5 ounce serving. The sorbet was really tasty and had a potent pineapple flavour to it, which I loved. It's dairy-free and gluten-free. It wasn't too sweet and was really refreshing on a hot day. Service was friendly and efficient. Since it's the Covid-19 Pandemic right now, they only take credit and debit, no cash. This location (the only one on Ottawa) is in Lansdowne Park, so paid parking in the lot, or street parking (paid or free, depending on the street and/or the time of the day/day of the week).

For your sweet tooth needs Cinnaholic has some incredibly tasty cinnamon rolls. Food 5 Service 5 Customer service 5 Whatever flavour you are thinking I can almost think they have it here. Just incredible. And I love how they have seasonal flavours. Good flavour good service. Great value This is a must if you are in the Lansdowne/Glebe area.

If you have been with me on my dessert journey this year, you will know that I love Cinnaholic. The GTA has been graced with three locations. I have been to two of them. Cinnaholic offers vegan cinnamon rolls and much more. I like that it's dairy-free, as I am borderline lactose-intolerant and I don't have to think twice about anything that I order here. I follow Cinnaholic on Instagram. When its Ottawa location opened, I saw massive lineups happening. I was in this area to meet up with a friend to check out 613flea. I was super early and decided to wander around like the tourist that I tend to be. I spotted this Cinnaholic, and wanted to jump up and down. Without any hesitation, I walked over to the store. What made me go in was a sign that said that this store has pineapple dole whip. Wow! I had to try it out. To this day, the two locations that I frequent in Scarborough and Thornhill do not have it. I lined up. There were perhaps three people ahead of me. It was enough time for me to browse the display case and menu. I got to check out Kitty and Cat, two cute cinnamon rolls in the display case. I managed to witness a woman come in, take a photo of them, and leave without buying a thing. I ordered a small pineapple dole whip. I was pacing myself for what goodies were at 613flea. Cinnaholic has a points system that is tied to your phone number. I got my points and moments later, my dole whip was ready. I texted my friend to say that I had planted myself on one of the stools by the bar-like area facing the street. I then had some pineapple dole whip. It was delicious! It wasn't too sweet, but you could taste the pineapple and it was refreshing. I have been longing to have some pineapple dole whip ever since. I just wish that it was available here. Ottawa is so fortunate to have this Cinnaholic! (290)

Stopped by randomly (because I have a very sweet tooth). It's cinnamon buns on steroids haha. You basically get to dress your cinnamon bun in whatever flavour of icing you want and top it off with whatever you want. The concept is brilliant. You can choose the combination yourself or you can choose a pre-made combination. The price is definitely pricier than your average bun but if you consider what you're getting/doing, it's the price you expect to pay.

If you love your sweets, this is a must try! I had a groupon for a dozen Cinnaholic cinnamon rolls so I decided to redeem it this weekend! The staff were great to explain how it all worked! There are so many types of icing flavours and different toppings and sauces to choose from. It took about 15 minutes for them to freshly prepare all 12 gourmet cinnamon rolls and boy they are worth the wait. No icing or toppings spared and the rolls are fluffy and delicious! All I can say is yummmmmmy!

My boyfriend and I decided to pick this place to go to for a late night date and it did not disappoint! Plenty of variety when it comes to flavours and toppings. Was surprised to find out that this place was Vegan friendly as well.

They sell perogies and other Eastern European snacks. Overall, the food was good, and reminded me of the home cooking of the mothers of my Slavic friends. I found the prices a bit high for what they were, but I guess nowadays that's not unsurprising. I got a ground pork and rice bun ($4), a ground beef crepe ($4) and a cottage cheese pancake ($4). The ground pork and rice bun was reminiscent of a cabbage roll in bun form, minus the cabbage and the tomato sauce, lol. It was heavy on the bun and rice and light on the pork, but tasted like comfort food. It reminded me a bit of the Asian buns filled with fillings like BBQ pork or curry beef as well. The bun was soft and almost brioche-like. The ground beef crepe was tasty, albeit a bit oily for my tastes. The crepe is a bit sweet, while the meat is slightly salty. The cottage cheese pancake was slightly sweet and I should have eaten this one last, as it was more dessert-like. I like that the cheese was thick and had a nice texture. Overall, the three items made a good snack. Service was courteous. The lady asked if I wanted the items warmed up and I liked that she placed them on a real plate to microwave them before putting them into a styrofoam box (I have seen some places put styrofoam in the microwave [shudder]). I mean I would have preferred if the box was cardboard, but at least they don't microwave styrofoam. The shop is located in a strip mall. There's plenty of free parking in the strip mall.

They do offer the "mini" versions of the bowls which I actually appreciate as I usually find these type of bowls are huge and I end up wasting. The portion was just perfect... Man, I normally don't even like coleslaw. I asked my husband if he wanted it but tried it first and I was like "NVM!" LOL. The slaw was garlicky. It was so bomb. The fish was haddock. At first I thought it was cat fish but haddock is even better. My husband said he enjoyed his chicken sandwich. The fries are fresh cut. Had some great flavor and loved how thin and crispy they are. Service was quick to order and the food came out hot and fast!!! It was a little bit cold in the restaurant so I can see the place being a little bit more popular in the summer. Overall, definitely coming back to visit next time we are here!!!

Right at the corner that I frequented when I was a couple decades younger. I haven't been back to the Wellington/Mechanicsville neighborhood, tailing the Hintonburg neighborhood for many years. "Little Mac's". Is. THE. BEST. TASTIEST, fuckin' god DAMN, "THAT A TASTY BURGER"...in the city of Ottawa. ..hidden off the street on a corne, to make sure it stays a gem, proper diamond in the rough. I'll say it again, because I legitimately said it twice out loud with a mouth full of the best burger in this city. "DAMN! That's a TASTY FUCKIN' BURGER!" Eating here was fine. It's a small joint. Very reminiscent of proper burger joints from times in this city, past. This is by far, the best damn burger in this city, hands down. I legit mentioned to Moe, it was the best burger I've had, in well over a year. Hand made patties, proper. in house, smoked bacon, with a proper smoke ring on the edge. ...ok, ok, but ITS A GEM OF A PLACE. I havent seen so much care in proper burger preparation...just for, too DAMN LONG. Thank you "Little Mac's". And I absolutely adore your dedication to amazing, five star, Michelin Star, burger. At home. Thank you greatl, Moe. You made mine and my sons day. We needed those incredible burgers, with smoked bacon, and real cheese. I have only made two yelp reviews in the past. One, was to complain, one was for a former Turkish bodega, that couldn't weather the Covid of business, and you, Moe. You being the face and conversation, that also grilled those INCREDIBLE BURGERS! Hands down. Your burgers are 11/10, for this sleepy city. And I imagine they can't be replicated by ways of franchise. There are few that take the pride that you do, Moe, in offering the mint burger that you do. I should be back within two weeks, brother. I absolutely appreciate your care and grill mastery. Absolutely, fuckin', LOVELY. ...I can go on, but, it'd be better to learn from experience, by the uninitiated. I lived the dream today. To the dreamers. The dream is alive, offered up dinner in the cabane style. THE BEST BURGER IN OTTAWA. Proper. I will legit fight someone that says differently. But, they may just have a dented pallet. if the beef isn't seasoned properly, the whole burger is bland. Moe, he ABSOLUTELY UNDERSTANDS

TL;DR/The Short Version: Vegan fast food burgers. Pretty…read moregood for what it is. The Long Version: Odd Burger is a vegan fast food restaurant. So imagine McDonald's and Burger King got together had a baby and that baby grew up and became a vegan. That baby is Odd Burger. They serve burgers, nuggets, breakfast sandwiches, fries, onion rings, tater tots, poutine and milkshakes, and everything is vegan. The taste is very much fast food. The service and ambiance is also fast food style. My husband and I each got a BacUn Famous Melt Combo. In-store the price is $15.48, but it was $17.03 BOGO (buy one get one free) on UberEats, so I ordered it on the app for pick-up. The combo comes with fries. You can upgrade to tater tots, onion rings, poutine or lots of other options. I love that for your drink you can get a juice, coffee or tea for no extra charge. Most places only offer soft drinks and anything else is extra. You can upgrade to a milkshake for more money. We just got fries and orange juice. For our burger we had the choice of their regular smash patty or chickpea patty. We chose the former. The smash burger is made of wheat and soy protein, flax seeds, onions and nutritional yeast. The BacUn is made of oats, chickpeas and wheat gluten. It comes with vegan cheese, lettuce, onions, pickles and their special sauce (which tastes a bit like McDonald's Big Mac sauce). The burger comes with a sesame seed bun, but the sesame seeds are only on the top bun, so I gave my husband my top bun and he gave me his bottom bun, so it worked out for me and I didn't have to eat it bunless, lol. The burger itself was ok. The taste was very fast food-like. It didn't taste like meat but I appreciated it for what it was. I want to try the chickpea patty next time. The fries were thick and battered. They came piping hot and were crispy on the outside. The portion was nice and big. I enjoyed the fries. The orange juice was just regular orange juice, but I liked that I wasn't limited to choosing a soft drink. I eat meat, but I'm an equal opportunity eater, lol, so I wanted to try Odd Burger. I think it's a great option for vegans and vegetarians who miss eating at fast food burgers chains. For meat eaters I don't really see much advantage over regular fast food burgers chains. I mean it's not any healthier in terms of fat and sodium content. I suppose it might be better for the environment (?) I didn't find the taste that "wow" or anything. Maybe I'll like the chickpea patty better. There's not too much seating at this location. Just 4 tables for 2 which can be combined to make 2 tables for 4. Service was courteous and efficient. I do like that it's a Canadian chain. It even started off in my home province, Ontario! Street parking only. Review #131 (2025)
