We then looked for a place to sit while waiting for our order. Every table in the building was dirty and sticky with dried ice cream. Since it was too hot to sit outside, we had no choice but to use one of the dirty tables. My daughter ordered one milkshake and one scoop of ice cream while my grandson and I waited. After 30 minutes, she checked on the order and was told they were "working on it." We continued waiting. Fifteen minutes later, we still had nothing while several customers who ordered after us had already received their food. At that point, another customer standing nearby told us they had watched an employee drop an order ticket on the floor and leave it there. We started wondering if our order had been lost. When she looked up our order, she bluntly stated, "You already got it." No, we absolutely had not. He never apologized, never made eye contact, and never spoke to us respectfully. After being questioned further, he finally admitted what had happened: they had lost our ticket and never made our order. Here's what really upset me: mistakes happen. Losing an order is frustrating, but it can be fixed. What cannot be excused is the attitude. Throughout our entire visit, the employees treated customers as though they were a burden. We watched them be rude and dismissive to multiple people, not just us. When I requested a refund, the employee responded with "whatever" and processed it. There was no apology. No attempt to make things right. No offer to replace the order. No concern whatsoever that we had spent over an hour waiting. When I told him the situation could have been handled more respectfully, his response was simply, "uh huh." My grandson left upset because he never got the ice cream he had been waiting for. We drove over two hours, spent more than an hour inside the store, and left with nothing except frustration and disappointment. This review is not because they lost an order.
