The store is unique as there are 'robots' displayed around the room above the food displays. They are easy to miss if you don't look up! I believe the robots would sell very well also but they don't seem to be for sale. I have never seen anything like them anywhere else. This location is great for packaged and bulk candy but I am reluctant with the powdered items. The powdered items are separated in two groups but I don't know why they were split up. In any case the same situation applies to the cereals. They appear to be of good quality but the manner in which they are stored gives me question. The place is well lit and the staff is friendly. The floors could use a sweeping, mop and polish! Great place for savings and quality candy and some baking needs.

Issues: for whatever reason they record your drivers license number on your receipt and in their computer system when you use a credit card. Maybe due to fraud or something else. It is not clearly stated that they record your identification but just they need to see it. I gave the owner my card, he swiped it and the proceeded to scan my driver's license into the register and it saved on the receipt. I immediately asked him to cancel/void the transaction because I didn't want my license number stored anywhere. I paid cash for the purchase, which I should have in the first place. He said the charge didn't go through, but it showed pending on my credit card app. He said to call if it posted. Fast forward 2 weeks later and I'm looking at my account with the charge present. I call immediately and the owner brushed me off with call my credit card company because it's nothing he can do. He stated it wouldn't go through because the transaction wasn't completed and then said he did what he needs to on his end. Customer service is poor and he stays in business because of the vast selection and acceptance of EBT as a payment option. I'd never go back to patronize this business. The response was so nonchalant when I purchased and when I needed the credit card issue resolved. Now I'm disputing the charge with my credit card company. Taking credit cards if you have to maintain personal information in such a manner blows my mind. I don't believe in scamming and I also don't agree with my driver's license number being printed on my receipt and archived the manner that was attempted.

I spoke this information to a very nice older lady who prepares the gift baskets here. Although she was busy doing other tasks, she walked me through the store and hand picked each item so the basket wouldn't be overly expensive but still have quality and eye appeal. She assured me that she would make the basket beautiful and that she did! When I came back a few days later to pick up the basket, I was blown away! She did an excellent job and add a few little extras that I wasn't expecting. My friend loved her basket! I forgot the kind lady's name and she wasn't there at pick up but I'd like to thank her for her excellent work.

They have brought back the salad bar and the soup bar and it is even better. I had the chicken noodle and it was scrumptious and so comforting. Of course, I also visit the Joes meat store as well. Great service wonderful quality meats, chicken, pork, seafood, and sausage sausages. Don't forget Joe's bakery as well. This has really become a one stop shop and I love it.
