Pretty nice little candy shop in wyandotte , recently went there for a birthday party. The girls made mini pizzas, cupcakes and decorated them and had a dance party upstairs . They have a couple of mini arcade games and couches upstairs in party room for the dad's ...now downstairs is where the delicious magic is they make custom floats and have delicious homemade desserts , huge covered strawberry s , cakes, cupcakes and many others , in the store section they have many varieties of salt water taffy of which there are flavors I've never seen before and I happen to love salt water taffy , there's all kinds of variety candy that the penny candy stores used to have as well as the new candy around .....all in all I HIGHLY recommend giving this store a whirl for your sweet tooth fix read more

An adorable addition to Downtown Wyandotte. They have old school candy stored in barrels and dispensers, flavored popcorns, a large variety of Fudge, Baked goods, hot drinks, and Gourmet Milkshakes. When I say gourmet Milkshakes, I mean... They are gourmet flavors and have a ton of added items like adding a cannoli, or a cake, and a pizelle or a candy bar. They are pretty outrageous. You get a drink and dessert for $10. The only way they could make it better would be to be a little bit more organized. There just seems to be things all over the place. This store is is truly filled with Sweet Arangements. There is a huge variety of candy, many options for popcorn, several different flavors of fudge and truffles, ice cream, and then a good variety of homemade desserts, plus a random assortment of other things sweet. We got a mini custard pie and it was so delicious! The double chocolate parfait melted in my mouth and was too good. The big oreo was good too. It's filled buttercream frosting. read more

For the past several years I have gotten my daughter's birthday cakes from here because they've been able to accommodate vegan and nut-free. This year I stopped in August 5th to place my order (I believe with the male owner) and noted that it needed to be nut-free. He told me the baker would contact me Monday to go over everything and take the payment. I spoke Monday with the baker and reconfirmed nut-free, and paid in full $165 for the cake + 2 dozen cupcakes. Fast forward to August 25th, less than 24 hours before I was scheduled to pick it up and the baker calls me and informs me nothing will be nut-free as their frosting has almond extract in it. I asked if she could use a different frosting on the cupcakes and no, they only have one. I asked her what changed because it has always been nut-free (and they've even used oat milk to make vegan and nut-free for me). She said when costs started to rise they switched ingredients. At this point I couldn't do anything but try to go find some nut-free cupcakes elsewhere which I had to pay for so that everyone had something to eat at the party. The next day upon picking it up I expressed my disappointment that I paid $165 for something I didn't order (I ordered a nut-free cake and cupcakes, and now was getting everything with almond in it). The owner decided to argue with me that I never ordered nut-free because they don't do that. Why would the baker have called me the day before then to warn me?!? I told him to look at my order sheet in front of him because it would say nut-free on it. He looked and went silent (obviously seeing what I knew would be on there). Then continued to say they've never switched ingredients, and that's not true (so now two different stories from baker and the owner). And he said it's always had almond in it, and the baker is new and she doesn't know what she's talking about. I said that's scary because I've served the cakes I was told were nut-free to anaphylactic children every year. They've never had a reaction which is why I think he's lying. I'm upset they never apologized, never offered any sort of accommodation (like reimbursing me for the cupcakes I had to go find to feed the allergy kiddos after spending $165 on theirs), or reimbursing me a part of the order. And to give me less than 24 hours notice that what I ordered wasn't going to be provided?!? I confirmed the order twice that it would be nut-free, weeks beforehand with both him and the baker. They clearly have no regard for safety or allergens, and obviously really crappy customer service. read more

Wow. All I can say is that. The smell, the visual pleasure of looking at all the candy and freshly made treats and than add on the coolest staff. I never like to talk or well, be friendly but the dude who helped me made me feel like I was his friend and it was amazing. Remember those penny candy stores from when you were a kid, that had every imaginable candy? Well, this is that store but the prices have went up quite a bit. This place is treasure. Not only do they carry most any candy you can think of, they have hard to find candy. Have you ever had an "Idaho Spud" candy bar? There is even some Canadian candy bars here. Bacon candy? They got it. I haven't tried it, but they got it. There stock sometimes varies depending on their suppliers I suppose. This place is special to me because I had been trying to find a Moxie soda for years and fianally found one here. It was worth the wait. This is just anotjer of those places that make Wyandotte a little more special. read more

This place is awesome I love taking my son in here. I wish they had more of the older candies they are so much better then the new ones. The fudge is amazing and flavored kettle corn to die for. The decorations are adorable it makes me feel like a kid again. Now I just need my boyfriend to take me back there on a date and get me more fudge. I love this place. Seems like a throwback to a magical time, or maybe it reflects my love of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. They have candy by the pound in a variety of colors, which was great when I was prepping to decorate Christmas cookies and didn't want too much left over. They have expanded their offerings in the last couple years, but are still in the lovely, walkable downtown Wyandotte shopping district. A couple doors down, there's a coffee/tea shop that I'm excited to try, and of course, Sander's and Nanna's. read more

Was in Wyandotte, Michigan a few weeks ago. My sister-in-law mentioned a candy store that sold old fashioned candy. We went in to see what they had and I was so pleased to see they sold fresh chocolate drops which my husband loves. There was no price on the showcase but I got 2 lbs not realizing they were $12.99 a lb. With everything else I just "had to have for my grandchildren" my total purchase was $62.00. Got back to Belleville where we were staying and proudly presented the chocolate drops to my husband. They were so stale that you couldn't even take a bite. My sister-in-law who lives in Newport, Michigan said hers were like that too. We were in Michigan for a funeral and left to come back home to Virginia 2 days later so I didn't get a chance to return the candy. I will not recommend that candy store to anyone! No store should be allowed to sell products that stale. read more
