Poorly managed and very disorganized. From a worker, pov: they refuse to give you a lunch break and lie saying you got one (everything is done on paper so they can fudge the numbers), and they hire inexperienced staff who are ALWAYS on their phones, not watching the kids. They *will* laugh if your child gets hurt with a toy or if they fall Kids are yelled at to stop crying if they're upset from getting hurt or anything else. Instead of talking to the child and finding a solution, they play favorites with the kids and the kids they don't like? They talk poorly about them. No child should ever be told bad things about themselves to their face or to hear that if they're talking about another child. read more

I do not know why there was no review for this day care center. They sure have a lot of kids! My experience with Cinnamon tree is positive. They do a good job with kids. They provide very flexible schedule to fix family needs. The price is reasonable. The owners was there almost everyday! And, he is very friendly and listens to you. The teachers are nice, with lots of experience. Good security around the building. Clean and neat facility. The only thing that I do not like is the class size. They have many kids in the same class. Almost every teacher is maximum out and super busy. So, the classrooms are a kind of crowded. But, you know, they have limited space to offer my classrooms in the building. read more

My little sister was employed there for 1 year. WITHOUT ANY EXPLANATION OR FORMAL INTERVENTION, she was fired via voicemail. My sister and my father called back several times, just for KATHY to put them straight to voicemail, while blocking my little sisters number. My sister and my father went to the daycare an hour before closing. Surprise surprise management is not there to talk to my sister and give her a REASON for being fired. My sister is a hardworker who adores the children she cared for. This is absolutely unacceptable and this company should be ashamed of themselves. My sister can always find a new job but you can't NEVER fix a bad reputation especially in a small town such as Hopewell Junction. My sister will go on to pursue her career, while cowardly management such as Kathy sit behind a desk and leave voicemails telling associates they are fired. read more

My child attended Cinnamon Tree for a year and two month in addition to the summer camp. On a positive, tuition is fairly inexpensive and the hours of operation are great. The negative list certainly outweighs the good. I will not write but rather bullet the major not minor concerns of the institution: 1 - Safety - The staff is inconsistent and the teachers during the day do not communicate with the other staff at night. On a regular basis, no one could find my childs belongings or tell me how the day went. No one could tell me why my child had marks on the body. The staff spoke ill of each other. Also, when I popped in the classroom was understaffed and the excuse every time was so and so is in the bathroom. Not up to par with staff to student ratio. 2 - I requested numerous of times not to have my child in a diaper. To no avail, repeatedly had to remove the diaper. The response was more then your child to tend to so they need a diaper. 3 - The staff cleans there own facilitates which means not professional cleaning is being done. The students are grouped in a room while the other staff attempt to clean. The staff are not trained in housekeeping. The solutions are not up to par and exposed to the students who may wander 4 - The lessons are not up to date with the delivery of instruction and the students who may have issues focusing are isolated. Numerous of times, I popped in and noticed the say students isolated at tables/areas due to their inattentiveness/restlessness during the lesson 5 - Pizza Friday became a mess with parents ordering and cold pizza being served. Again, I popped up and saw them give pizza that was sitting there for a long period of time without the box closed during flu season. That being said, not a decent or optimal setting for students. The staff ware very young and immature. The safety of students does not come first. Staff members on cell phones constantly. Good luck because at first this cute little place looks cute but it is not ideal for children. read more
