She has had and continues to have an incredibly positive experience, is challenged by the fantastic teachers, and continues to grow as a dancer. She has learned about dedication, perseverance, and teamwork and she continues to be devoted to this school and her teachers. On several occasions, I witnessed my granddaughter being subjected to bullying by several girls in her class. I told Tanya about the girls' inappropriate behavior, and I was told that "my granddaughter will make friends." Due to her lackadaisical attitude, I became extremely vocal, pulled my granddaughter from their school and demanded a refund, which they obliged. Additional complaints is that there is no guidance, communication, and the studio is sloppy and unclean. A child is not a commodity, and needs to be treated as such. Both owners are pompous regarding the amount of years that they have been in business. So, what does that mean to you, a prospective client? You will be subjected to ridicule if you make a complaint, regardless of the complaint, just because they have been in business for several decades. And, if your child is bullied, there may be no recourse. It seems that both Tanya and Betty Jean were angrier at me for bringing up this situation than being accountable and responsible for not having a no-bullying policy in place. On a positive note, my granddaughter is now in a clean, well-established, well-structured, fun, and disciplined ballet school, and she is thriving. She is very happy and can enjoy her classes and classmates without any worries.

The staff is top-notch in helping you get in shape via personal training, answering any questions you may have, or suggesting which post-workout shake to consume based on your fitness needs. They are very friendly and courteous; always a plus in my opinion. There are a myriad of group classes to participate in, in addition to the individually tailored personal training sessions. Upstairs features some cardio equipment which overlooks the facility, including a movie-viewing room for those who wish to find some sort of escape while they sweat profusely all over the treadmill. There are machines and free-weights galore; ones you don't have to wait for providing you stay away during peak hours (5pm-7pm comes to mind). Need a post-workout shake? Saddle up to the shake bar and order away. Preparing for a vacation or are you just as pale as a jar of mayonnaise? Hit the on-site tanning booths. Gold's has a lot for those who are looking to get the most out of their time at the gym.
