THIS REVIEW IS A MUST READ because it has a happy ending! I started this review with 1 star, but, I…read moream ending it with 5 stars. Royal Carting owner, Emil Panichi and his two daughters, Elisa and Evelyn run the management office. Royal Carting donates to local hospitals and colleges, as well as hundreds of local non-profit organizations, including: American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, DARE, Abilities First, Downs Syndrome of the Hudson Valley, Children's Home of Poughkeepsie and DC ARC. Sometimes too many fundraisers make companies lose their way, they become too political. However, behind the scenes at their carting company they are charging $75.00 if a senior citizen needs a new garbage pail. I called up and asked them for a larger garbage pail, no problem, cool I thought, until, they picked up my old garbage pail #65 and they dropped off a larger garbage pail #95 that was filthy dirty, old, stained, smelt like rotten garbage, just disgusting! And, being an Italian like I am, I disinfected it to the best of my ability, but, it was just too far gone, too old, nothing can save this garbage pail. It belongs in a dumpster and laid to rest. I expected a new garbage pail. I expected better from Royal Carting Service Company. I had to call and tell them how I felt about this experience. I called the Royal Carting management office, but they said they only have old garbage pails that they disinfect and give to the customers. That's funny because the one they sent me was extremely disgusting and it smelt like rotten garbage. NO ONE DISINFECTED IT! I thought to myself, ok, everyone is entitled to a bad day, so somebody overlooked what they delivered! I believe in second chances, and I will continue to communicate my dissatisfaction to the management of the company. I was thinking to myself, wow, how do they get away with this with Covid 19, the Monkeypox, etc. Where is the Health Department, or maybe they donate to them too! Who knows, only God knows! AND just the thought of regular germs is a huge concern these days, never mind touching a strangers garbage pail. I thought wow, Royal Carting is exposing the people in Dutchess County to all kinds of Diseases with giving residents old replacement garbage pails. Personally, I keep my garbage pail clean, I put plastic liners in my garbage pails and I disinfect my pails if they get dirty. I respect my garbage men because they work hard! In the past, I have seen maggots in one of my neighbors garbage pails and I almost vomited! Please keep your garbage pails clean! At this point, I just want my old garbage pail back they took to replace it with this filth. I am going to try to enclose pictures of the garbage pail they left at my house. These pictures were taken after I scrubbed and disinfected the garbage pail. It's just disgusting, it belongs in a dumpster! When I called and complained they wanted me to pay $75.00 if I wanted a new one. LOL! Royal Carting's Motto is "Life is messy, we help clean it up!" I have a Motto too, "Action Speaks Louder Than Words!" If, Emil Panichi and his two daughters, Elisa and Evelyn, and their office managers Dawn and Christine think this is the way to treat people in Dutchess County, they should think again because they have lost their way down those dirt roads that paved the way for Emil in the beginning of building his empire Royal Carting Service Company, "Life is messy, we help clean it up!" From one Italian to another, this time, I cleaned up your mess Royal Carting! This review is not about the Garbage men, they work hard! I respect my Garbage men. This review is about the Royal Carting Company and their lack of respect for the community they serve. $75.00 for a clean new garbage pail that should be provided to their customers free. It's not good to become too political, you lose consciousness, what the right thing is to do and have the conviction to do it! I will conclude this review by thanking Emil Panichi and his two daughters, Elisa and Evelyn, and their office managers "Dawn" and Christine for sending me a new garbage pail today! I am extremely grateful to you! Danny, the delivery guy was very nice and helpful.
