CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS and confirm your services!!!! I requested the winter specials that were offered online but instead I was given and charged for the "signature" services. The representative had placed my order incorrectly. So my great service turned very sour due to the cost that I was charged. I am not familiar with the services so I do not know the difference between the winter specials and "signature" services. I am very angry as this seems like a bait and switch. Instead of resolution, I was asked "did you enjoy the service?" What does that have to do with being overcharged? I was not given a receipt as the printer was "out of paper". I was emailed my receipt and discovered that I had been incorrectly charged. This is bad business and the second time this has happened to me at this place. I will not be back. read more

Nancy was my massage therapist at Cinzia. I have had massages all over the Western Hemisphere and Nancy is still be of my top 2 massages EVER! She was phenomenal! Science meets art meets spiritual experience! I just cannot say enough good things! For me - was not worth the Price. Also the facial was advertised as 55 minutes. My appointment was at 3pm, and when I was told that we were finished, the clock showed 3:45pm. 1) The steam room was not working (would of liked to use) 2) I couldn't get into the salt cave (would of liked to use) and the meditation room was very bright and echoey. Was hard to relaxed/meditate in this room. Also, another spa Client thought the meditation room was for socializing with his wife. Was very distracting. I did read about the automatic 20% gratuity, and didn't care until after my session. The $24.00 tip was too much for the service I received. The Gal checking me out was loud about what my Bill was, like I was at a Deli counter. It was no one business what I had done or telling the lobby my bill was $288.00. Their service includes a complimentary Mimosa but you can also at your expense order a Champaign service and select from the menu that offers several yummy dishes. My first time ever soending a full day at a spa and Cinzia absolutely blew my expectations out of the water!! We decided to splurge for my husbands birthday and it was the best decision ever. For a parents of multiple little ones to have a day out, it was an amazing treat. We are locals and felt like we were on vacation for a day! I had a 70 min body butter massage with Dusty, 50 min facial with Christy & 30 min Island Scalp Treatment with Nancy. All of the services and therapists were phenomenal, but to be honest, the scalp treatment was a last minute choice the morning of and looking back, it was my favorite part of the day. I cannot recommend that treatment enough!! In between, we enjoyed the steam rooms, jacuzzi & Himilayan Salt Suite. It was worth every penny for the amount of relaxation it brought to us. Booked a "package" including eye massage, eye mask, brow tint/wax, lash tint. Only received the brow tint/wax and lash tint (not sure why the other services were left out?) and they only had two tint options for the brows- medium brown and deep brown. As a redhead with naturally blonde eyebrows, I was concerned about the color- the medium brown turned out much darker than I would have liked. I was told they normally have a "blonde brown" but that "they didn't order it this time". Overall just very disappointed with the experience given the first visit 8 months ago I received exceptional service. read more

Great service and great facial! My negative is I also ordered lunch and they brought it out on a cafeteria cart . Very unappealing ! You do have to eat it on your lounge chair and had to put the salad bowl on the recliner surface so why not bring it out on an attractive tray to hold the lunch and provide a foundation for it. read more

In North Myrtle Beach on a family vacation and I needed some Mommy time to relax and not be rushed or have to take care of everyone else. Cinzia Spa did not disappoint! I got the perfect package plus a lot of extras. All of the services I had were very high standard. One of the best facials I have had in a very long time. My mani/peti was amazing and the massage was the perfect pressure and she concentrated on my problem areas. I really enjoyed the steam shower and the jacuzzi was also nice. What a find. Somehow, I just recently learned of Cinzia, despite being a regular visitor to the area -- but I'm glad I did, because it proved to be an exceptional spa. I went in for a massage, and was surprised by the complimentary use of the entire facility, including a steam room and jacuzzi. Also, said facility was clean, quiet, and comfortable, with a nice, big locker room and lovely decoration throughout. And, to top it all off, the massage itself was as exceptional as the rest of the place, with a skilled, attentive, and highly friendly therapist. The rest of the staff, too, were as upbeat, personable, and professional. Overall: a glowing experience, one I hope to repeat in the near future. BUYER BEWARE!!! THIS PLACE IS A SCAM!!! It is with great sadness that I even have to write this review. My older sister decided to treat my 71-year old mother to the Winter Spa experience (a facial and pedicure) at Cinzia Spa. The special is listed online. When she went to pick up our mother- my sister could not get a a receipt but instead was told that the printer was out of order. When they got back to their vacation timeshare it was only then when she discovered by looking at her credit card statement that she had instead been charged MUCH MORE money for 'signature special's'. When she called the manger Kristine or Christine- the manager's response was incredibly snarky and passive aggressive. Basically in so many words- my sister was told that she was going to have to eat the costs and there was nothing that would be done on the spa's end to right their wrong. Mind you, it was a significant amount more that was charged to her credit card with a mandatory 20% that was added on to the services. THIS PLACE IS A RIP OFF and a POOR EXCUSE for a reputable business establishment. It is OBVIOUS upon reading other reviews that this is a scam business that needs to be reported. Additionally the manager KRISTINE or CHRISTINE lacks integrity. I would strongly implore anyone who is even thinking about booking ANY service here, NOT to. This business needs to be reported to the Better Business Bureau in South Carolina and put out of business. I am not a disgruntled customer, I am a pro-active human being who believes that business should conduct their affairs with integrity- not be a den of thieves void of honor and conscience. read more

The technician was knowledgeable and good. However not exceptional; nothing different from any other day spa. It was a pricey. I would have expected a little more for the price. Specials were booked for 4 of us for a special price. But price wasn't honored at check out. Girls at reception were not understanding at all about package pricing. If you book, make sure to take a screenshot of pricing and insist on email confirmation with pricing. I've since read other reviews where pricing was changed or services not provided that were stated in package. And adding an automatic gratuity is crazy. Gratuity is to be determined by receiver of services, not business or giver of services! When did this change?? The steam room wasn't working but it was stated on web site. My husband and I booked a 70 minute couples massage. Dusty was great and very professional, I highly recommend him! Jennifer on the other hand was awful. She performed my husbands massage but somehow managed to ruin my experience as well. SHE WOULD NOT SHUT UP! She took what I consider a relaxing experience and talked through the whole thing, she covered many topics with my husband, who was too polite to tell her to stop talking, such as "it's fucking hot outside" to her new found sobriety ("that shits just not good for you"). As if the talking and profanities just weren't enough she tried to end his massage 10 minutes early and Dusty reminded her that we still had more massage left. My husband probably would have been happy to end the service early, he said it was the worst massage of his life. He was so disappointed and has sworn off massages for a while. It's so upsetting because we came last year for a couples massage and he said it was the best of his life so he was excited for this years. For such a high end, expensive facility I really expected the staff to match the vibe but this was awful, we will definitely not be returning ever. read more

A weekend in NMB was planned with friends, made reservations by phone on February 9, 2022, arrived at the spa on February 26th to learn that our appointments didn't exist! Staff suggested i had perhaps called another spa so searched my call log to demonstrate a call was made there on February 9th. My friends and I loved Cinzia Spa on our first visit and had looked so forward to this day. The services we had booked were not available. My 30th birthday was 2 days ago and the ONLY thing I asked for was a nice massage. I was so excited to go yesterday but I got sick the night before and ended up in the ER until 5am yesterday morning. My husband called yesterday morning explaining the situation and asked if we could reschedule and they refused because of their cancellation policy. I could almost understand if I wanted to cancel completely but they wouldn't even allow us to reschedule. If I had the energy, I could've gone to the appointment anyway, spreading my germs from this random virus so I'm assuming they would be glad that I wanted to reschedule. This was a big gift for me, as we do not normally splurge on my birthday with it being right after Christmas. Now we are out $166 with nothing to show for it. I spent my birthday night in the ER and then had to deal with this ridiculousness. I know several people who go to Cinzia Spa and I will absolutely be sharing this situation with them so they know that if they book an appointment and have an emergency, the business will absolutely not care or take that into consideration. I love supporting small, local businesses but this one clearly does not take into account emergencies and sickness. It is VERY disappointing. read more

I called in advance for the body balance spa treatment. Me and a group of friends where in Myrtle Beach for 6 days. When they took my reservation they DID NOT ask for contact information BUT I asked them to send me an email confirmation for my service date which they did. I arrived there 30 minutes before my service and was told they had to cancel and didn't have a way to get in contact with me. To accommodate they offered a REDUCED service of only an hour service at a reduced cost when the service I originally requested was almost 3 hours and I would have to wait an additionalhour beforeI could be seen. I'd had a very bad month after burying my mother and this was supposed to be my one thing to treat myself. They seemed very unapologetic and I'm trying very hard not to believe if I was white things may have been handle very differently. I will never attempt to book anything with them ever again if I do come back to South Carolina. Horrible experience. read more

I forgot my sunglasses in a locker at closing time, 6pm, on friday. The next morning I drove back there at opening time, 9am. And no sunglasses. Someone swiped them. Someone will say "it's not fair to give them a 1-star review because YOU forgot your sunglasses.". Well, in COMPLETE seriousness, all I can say is, life isn't fair. Unfairness is all around. It's just part of existing. From coming away from what Arry said might have been the nicest venue and the nicest massage she might has ever gotten, and at an ultra high end residential and hotel resort, I am now left with a couples massage that cost me almost $600 (including the cost of my revo's.) And the facility is one of the absolute nicest I have ever patronized too. Very new as of this writing. The full body massage was very nice. The couples room is excellent. The lighting, the music, the heated bed. All top notch. The first massage where I was completely nude under the sheet! When I paid at the end though, they added a 20% gratuity/service charge that amounted to $48. I would have left a nice tip anyways, but I suppose they like applying their own tip/service charge. And when Arry made the reservation, they were kind enough to push it back 30min, to give us more time on the beach earlier that day. Good customer service. Apparently, there is cleaning staff going around prior to opening, and there are hotel guests and residents that can come and go into and out of the men's locker room, independent of the spa business. The lady that re-stocked the lockers with robes didn't see my sunglasses either. They were a very nice find for the thief: a very gently used pair of polarized revo's inside a revo leather wrapped hard case with the cleaning cloth inside. Oh well... I can only hope that the thief feels some torment like Trevor (Christian Bale) in The Machinist. But highly unlikely. read more

I have had no less than 40 professional massages in my life. And Ashley was by far the best masseuse I have ever experienced. I told her that my shoulder was bothering me, and that I stand all day and she spent lots of time focusing on my trouble areas without neglecting every other part of my body. Beautiful venue - so clean. Really enjoyed the music (classical). Great service. Service was great - they accommodated us coming in late on top of allowing me to push the appointment later. We enjoyed a duet massage and the room was very nice. I asked for hard pressure for my massage - and boy did I get some serious pressure. I tend to think the massage was a waste of time if I don't walk away feeling like it was a workout of some sort - so I was very pleased. However, the pressure was so hard that I walked away with scars and bruises - the caveat being I told the masseuse it was okay. Probably one of the best massages I've had in a very long time. I would most definitely have given this spa 5 stars - but there were two very big grievances that we experienced. Minus 1 star because of the automatic gratuity that was automatically added as a service charge. You've got to be kidding me. If you have a paying customer WILLING to pay $120/person for a massage - and then on top of that you automatically add gratuity because you don't trust the person to tip on their own... That doesn't make sense to me. I find it insulting. If that's the case, then I'd advise you to charge $145/person and say no gratuity necessary. A tip should be a tip - great service = great tip. We had cash tips ready to go, too! Second star lost because of issues with the spa's business partnership with the hotel/residential business. Assuming the clientele you have to such an establishment where clients are able and happy to pay $140+ an hour for a good massage in a beautiful venue with all the perks - then I think it should be fair that the staff working at the venue and the other guests at the venue would not feel the need to steal a pair of sunglasses. COME ON!!! I'd assume such clientele would have the decency to return it to the front desk, leave it as is, ... NOT steal it! We were the LAST clients in the place before they closed. We left voicemail and were the FIRST ones in the next day. So Cinzia has told us that it's because of other hotel/residential guests or perhaps the unknown towel changing staff that the glasses are no longer there. Ridiculous. Something's seriously wrong with your residential and hotel guests/staff between the hours of 6PM and 9AM then. It's too bad Cinzia has to put up with this absurdity - I loved my Cinzia experience. I really hope Cinzia can work out a better situation that protects their brand from the hotel/residential side. I love Cinzia. I would love to go back - but in the meantime triple check all of your belongings before walking out of the place. read more

Very expensive especially when you consider what you are getting. Manicure prices are for regular manicures, not gel or dip. Gratuity is required at a rate the spa sets, you are told how much you must tip at check out. There are better spas that are more reasonably priced in the Myrtle Beach area. I've been going to this spa for several years for special occasions. Today I experienced the Figian Ritual & express facial. The Figian was heaven! I'll never go back to just a regular massage!
