Delicious pupusas and excellent service. They were very patient and even made us try a local corn drink. We'll be back

It's a food truck parked on the street near the corner of the shopping center nearby. Parking was pretty easy on the street or in the nearby shopping center. Don't expect an area to eat or tables unless you're gonna walk down to the shopping center or take it to go as most people do. The staff was very friendly and full of smiles, and I was able to order with my broken Spanish. Food: I wanted to try a variety of pupusas so got the Revueltas, spinach with cheese, and lorocco with cheese. All were very tasty and I would love to try the rest of the menu as well. My favorite by far is the pupusa Revueltas. This is as close to authentic Salvadoran you can get until you try the local cheeses in El Salvador.

I ordered 4, all different, plus 3 pastor tacos. After I placed the order, he told me it would be about 15 minutes, great sign since it meant they would be freshly made. The pupusas were all $4 each and simply delicious. Loved the flavor of them and the curtido. I sent out a whatsapp to the family to have them all drop by to try these. Far better than most places around here that I've tried.

Ok so I've wanted to try this spot for longer then I care to admit. Being vegetarian it can be hard…read moreto find options at spots who use mostly meat on the menu, so I kept it simple: bean and cheese pupusa for myself and chicken tamale for the wife. The service was nice and welcoming, the wait for the food real, lol. You are getting fresh cooked though, so it's like right out of your kitchen at home!! In terms of food quality, I was blown away, the pupusa was really great! Wife also stated the tamale was top notch. I do recommend this spot and will be back for more!!

The only option was shredded chicken which looked VERY dry and with no flavor. When you walk in its hard to distinguish where to order from considering your typical menu is NOT where it should be. The ladies are hard at work and it took some time to even notice someone wanting to order. She was rude to tell me thats it coming when the other worker asked to confirm my order number. I have to say the burrito took FOREVER to make. I also noticed they use the same spatula to stir different meats on the grill. A huge red flag if you do not eat beef!! ALSO the lady who took my order didnt wear gloves to grab the burrito off the grill. I don't know it this is normal but the menu doesnt show the prices of the items on the big board which can really throw you off on what you want vs what you can honestly afford. Not for me personal but to those who are being mindful of what to order. The previous reviews don't lie. Would I come back here again? Absolutely not!

Everything was ordered to go about 45 minutes prior to closing and took about 25 minutes to make. The price for the amount of food is decent. The Birria pupusa pizza is comforting so make time for a nap afterwards! Staff was nice and for a business that was closing in less than an hour, it was busy! All the tables seemed to have people in them. Staff were consistently running food to people's tables. Definitely one of the better pupusa options in the Bay Area and possibly my new favorite in the East Bay.

I was impressed with the quality and the amount of food that I got. My meal came with either a taco or a Pupusa I chose the bean and cheese pupusa. Also came with beans and rice. My coworkers ordered the classic bean and cheese pupusa and a meat option one as well. My other coworker ordered the pupusas as well. We all enjoyed what we ordered and despite being delivered everything arrived hot and delicious. We had mixed reviews on the horchata it isn't the traditional Mexican style I liked it but was a no from my two coworkers. Unfortunately, I took one star away because we didn't receive straws or utensils with our order. I am not sure it was the fault of the restaurant or our driver for not checking.

I usually order Pozole, but that dish is only during the winter time. So I ordered a cup of tortilla soup! The chicken was fresh and delicious, and the broth was so good I drank it all. The salsa trio is always my favorite appetizer because of the spicy mango salsa! I finish it every time. I also got the Plátanos cubanos, but I got the toppings on the side so I could enjoy their plantains by themselves. As an appetizer, snack, meal, or dessert, plantains are the best. I ordered a side of rice with my steak tacos too, and I have to say this rice is the most similar to the type my mom makes at home. Not too tomatoey, but perfectly moist and tasty. I opted out of getting a cocktail today, so I got a mocktail. I was craving agua de jamaica, which they didn't directly have, but this "zero proof" cocktail hit the spot ;) As for the steak tacos, the steak was a little too chewy for my liking, but that's because I usually get my steak well done (I know, don't judge). Thank you Milagros for always being the best spot for a comforting meal!

The biggest disappointment however was when I looked at my receipt. In addition to taxes and tipping, I was another charged 3.5% for "state mandate." I inquired and was told that since the restaurant has to provide medical insurance, their employees they charge customers for that now. It's just so shady that this is not disclosed ahead of time or at least no obvious and it's only if you look at your receipt, do you see you're being charged this additional fee. Word for the wise it is optional despite the mandatory language on the receipt, so I encourage everyone to refuse to pay. You are not the one employing the employees, the employer is.
