    Baja Fish Taco
    Meltem O.

I've been here so many times and I'm actually shocked I never left a review before lol. Everything I've tried has been so good. I still haven't tried the pork tacos, but other than that I've had a bunch of different things and never had a bad meal or drink here. The guacamole is sooo good and the yuca fries are seriously addictive. My favorite tacos are the fish ones, especially the Baja fish taco. Also the vibe of this place is just happy It's colorful, fun, loud in a good way, and makes you want to dance when you walk in. I literally took photos of the tablecloths because they were so cute lol. Staff is always friendly and service is fast too. Easy 10/10 for me.

Very nicely decorated restaurant on the corner with indoor and outdoor seating. Easy neighborhood parking a few blocks away or a paid parking lot across the street. Was there for lunch on a Monday and was quickly seated around 2pm. I got the mahi mahi tostada, a very generous portion of nicely prepared fish over back beans, cabbage and guacamole. It was a lot of food for lunch. I brought home half of the fish. My friend had the chicken fajitas and also took home half of it. I wouldn't drive out of my way to eat there, but if you're in the area, it's a nice little place if you're craving Mexican.

You will always leave this place very satisfied. From the cocktails, especially the margaritas, to the delicious Mexican dishes and desserts, this place has it all. Fun atmosphere for any type of celebration or just to go out for a fun lunch or dinner with friends. Indoor and outdoor seating perfect to go in any weather. Festive and fun for the entire family .

Quick take: good place for after work I would say the food is good. We always have a good time here because of the company. Service here is friendly and attentive.

We had a large group and we were well taken care of. The happy hour menu was great. The food was delicious. With such a large group, I was impressed with how well everyone was taken care of. We only had one issue when a plate was taken away before the leftovers were boxed up. The issue was resolved quickly, though.

Came for a work lunch on a Tuesday afternoon and we were sat outside. It was nice because they have heaters. The only downside is if you sit at a high top, it's quite difficult to get in and out of your chair, and you can't fully scoot in. Ordering was very easy. The staff was very kind and accommodating. As for the food itself, it was delicious! Everything was flavorful and fresh.

Great place for a drink and food. Always the bar tenders are nice if you sit at the bar. Sometimes there is a wait time for larger parties, but worth the wait.

I've been coming to Milagros for years, and it never disappoints! If you're looking for a fun, lively environment with fast, friendly service and tasty Mexican food, Milagros has you covered. Every time I've come here, I start with the chips and salsa trio - the serving size is always generous (as evidenced by the bucket it comes in), and the salsas are all very good. Milagros also has a solid array of drinks, and I'll usually end up getting one of the several different margaritas or cocktails on menu (I'm partial to the El Jefe margarita and Smokey the Bandit). All the food options I've tried here have been very tasty as well! In particular, I have a fondness for their tacos (especially the quesabirria trio), enchiladas suizas, skillet fajitas, and carnitas nortenas. And the service has never been anything less than fast and friendly here, even when it's crowded. All in all, Milagros has remained a staple for me over the years. It's great for dining with a group of friends, catching a game, or just for anyone looking to dine on some tasty Mexican food in a casual restaurant with a fun, lively energy.

Vibe and service were quite nice, I can see how people would come here for happy hour. I also thought the Baja fish taco was pretty good but everything else ranged from mid (steak taco, enchiladas) to surprisingly bad. For example the quesadilla barely had any cheese?? And the bbq sauce they add ruined it for me.

Great service. I came in around 2:30 for department holiday party. The food was good. I ordered the jalapeño poppers. I will say they were delicious but I would have loved a bit more of a kick. They weren't spicy at all. Which I guess works for my non spicy lovers! The taquitos were good. Again personally I would love a spicier salsa, the salsa was too sweet for my liking. Overall great experience and I just loved the festive decor! It was so cute.

Great food and atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. I recommend you give them a try. I want to post current pics of the menu, but I need to write 85 characters, so I'll just ramble on, and on, and on.

Overcrowded. The atmosphere is exceptional. The food above average but yet a different concept compared to traditional Mexican food. If you come during the weekend be ready to wait at least half an hour. Avoid the yuca fries, they were meehh.

milagros is a solid mexican spot with more of a sit-down ambiance. it is nicely decorated inside and out with plenty of outdoor seating on the patio. the chips and salsa are very high quality. for the chicken tortilla soup, i was slightly disappointed that it was mostly tortilla and less chicken. the churros were also subpar. service was standard. glad i got to try milagros!

    Is Milagros cash-only?

No, they also accept credit card and Apple pay.

Does Milagros have happy hour specials and what are they- drinks, food, times?

They now have happy hour Monday-Friday 3-6PM as of 6/7/24

    Is the patio dog friendly?

Yes, it is. I always see dogs in the patio area. I also bring mine.

    Do they take reservations?

At the moment no. I'd keep checking back. They start again soon

What sorts or vegetarian/vegan options are there?

    They have a artichoke enchidas!

Any comments on Milagros or Donoteca Enoteca restaurants in Redwood City?

Milagros is pretty mediocre Tex Mex but it has a nice location and is good for groups. I haven't been to Donato Enoteca yet, but I'd definitely choose it over Milagros from what I've heard.

The experience was quick, smooth, and welcoming from start to finish. This was my first meal of the day, and I was hoping for something satisfying -- but I had no idea just how impressed I would be. Our food and beverages were ordered and served promptly. Even when a small mistake occurred, it was corrected immediately, graciously, and with a genuine smile, which speaks volumes about the care and professionalism of this team. Customer Service: 5 stars -- truly beyond expectations Cleanliness: 5 stars -- spotless and well cared for Quantity: 5 stars -- more than generous Quality: 5 stars -- honestly better than many 5-star restaurants my husband and I have tried Price: Very reasonable, especially considering the quantity and outstanding quality A special and heartfelt thank you to David, who I believe is the manager. He was attentive, observant, friendly, and incredibly hands-on -- moving seamlessly from station to station, supporting his team, and leading by example. David is the kind of leader who inspires, not commands. It would genuinely have been an honor to work under his supervision. He goes above and beyond, and it shows brightly in every detail. The fajitas were cooked perfectly, the drinks were delicious, and my husband absolutely loved his mole burrito. What stood out most was how this place made me feel. I didn't feel like just another customer -- I felt at home, and after the day I had, that meant more than words can express. We are already looking forward to our next visit. In a time when many establishments are losing their personal touch, La Corneta is creating real connections -- and that makes all the difference. 13 stars -- for our favorite number as a couple. With sincere gratitude, Thank you, David, and thank you to the entire La Corneta team.

It was very good, but the bottom of the shell gets really soggy so you can really just eat the top of the shell where it's still crispy. While photos of their SF location suggest some seeing, this OG location is pretty much pickup/delivery only: a fairly literal hole in the wall, located along a random quiet street. Most folks would probably opt to take home or eat at one of the "nearby" parks, but we've gotten in the habit of just eating in the car, which... not so great for something as messy as birria lol. I'll say that for most folks, this would probably easily be more a 4 star spot, while for us, it's more a 2 star since we're unlikely to come back. That's not to say the food was bad: on the contrary, the flavors were quite good, and the consomme was less salty than some of the others we've tried. But their food is HEAVY. Not just the birria itself, but also the burrito we got, and heavier than other places we've been for some reason, with the birria sitting in a pool of oil soon after we picked it up. This probably isn't a deterrent for most people though, so take this as you will. Accessibility: Not too relevant since this is really just a pickup spot, with the pickup window being at the usual height you'd find elsewhere.
