Our home required a complete old roof teardown, replacement of over 33 sheets of plywood for roof deck repairs, a new roof, replacement of copper chimney flashings, replacing all gutters as well as some structural repairs to part of the roof. This was far more than a standard roofing job, to be sure. Pete Ciraulo come out to give us a fair quote and told us that we would probably be looking at a lot of added work and he would need to open up sections of the roof to assess the situation we had. He was always open, fair and transparent and never tried to sell anything not needed. He gave us an honest assessment and our trust in Pete was rewarded with outstanding workmanship and his very innovative and effective approaches to solving our structural roofing issues, including installing new structural steel beams that Pete designed and fabricated himself inside the closed roof sections. The finished product exceeded all of our expectations and was more than fair in the total price charged. The work was done professionally, on time and with great care and precision. Each night the entire job site was impeccably cleaned and left in spotless condition. All areas around the home were swept and rolled with a large magnet to collect any loose nails. The finished product is outstanding and greatly enhances the appearance and value of our home. Pete stands behind his finished product with a 10 year warranty on workmanship. We used Ciraulo & Sons to replace our asphalt-shingle roof in September and are so happy with the end result. Since completion we have had some heavy rain and my husband crawled into our attic space and found no issues...we've had problems in the past, hence the need to replace our 22 year roof. Peter came out quickly to give us an estimate and not only was his pricing the best, but his bid was the most detailed. Two other roofing companies did a virtual viewing (from Google images I imagine) and I think because of this they didn't give any details on where new vents were needed, etc. Best price, best service and greatest amount of detail. The crew discovered an issue once they ripped off the old shingles and Peter was up there quickly problem solving to find the best way to not only fix the problem, but keep costs down. I was so relieved he didn't just overlook the issue and slap down the new shingles. I checked around for pricing and his was the best around. it was coming to the end of the year and we had a whole in our roof and needed work done immediatel. They started immediately upon arrival. I was surprised how many guys showed up. They had my roof torn off and replaced within 2 days. It looks awesome. I could not even tell they where here. Several mold remediation companies told me that I had mold in my attic and that inadequate soffit ventilation was the most likely cause. I contacted Ciraulo & Sons Roofing to ask if they could check the soffit ventilation. Peter told me that the attic mold was likely mildew and was caused by too much moisture. He then gave me advice on how to keep the moisture for getting too high in the attic. He took time to provide very clear instructions and answered my questions.
