The host was friendly and eager to get us a table, but nothing available- 15 min wait. Two seats open at the bar so we moved quick! Makala was our bartender. She was fantastic; friendly and super knowledgeable. We shared a smash burger, relax haters we had a late lunch and wanted room for dessert. Smash burger with fries was fantastic. Seasoned perfectly and the sliced pickles were great. Turtle Cheesecake was , so good! Atmosphere was 10! Staff was 10! Food was 10! We visit this area 3-4 times a year, see you again in March!

She was very knowledgeable about the food menu and beverages and answered all of our questions. We decided on the Mahi tacos and Gouda smash burger. Both were delicious. I enjoyed the spicy margarita and my husband loved the mango beer. Our dog, Ellie also enjoyed her big bowl of water and a few bites of the burger. There is an outdoor area to eat and play corn hole. The inside has several tvs playing sports. We will definitely return and ask for Mia!

Tristan just took over as head brewmaster this spring and the quality of his work is evident in every sip. You will also find Tristan serving up the product of his labors most evenings. He is a wealth of beer knowledge. This is a must stop for hop heads with at least 4 IPAs/APAs on tap most of the time. A wide range of beers is available for all tastes. The Dos Pelicanos Mexican Lager tastes like the original Corona before its sales went up and quality went down. They also have seltzers and wine for non-beer drinkers. Food truck and special events calendar can be found in their social media accounts. Live music on weekends. Numerous TVs to keep up with your team sports action. Trivia 6:30 on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Music Bingo, fly fishing lure making, cigar rolling are scattered around the calendar. There is also a very casual run club that meets on Wednesdays at 5:30 and cools down with beer and trivia. Quick detour off Hwy 331 on the way to the beaches of South Walton. Stop by for a break in the traffic and get refreshed and stock up your beach beer inventory. They have cans and Growlers to go.

When mapping out breweries for the area, we came upon this hidden gem that we never seen on the map…read morebefore. It's located in Freeport FL just across the bridge from Destin. We definitely wanted to visit here since we thought it was a new brewery (more on that later). This place is actually in the backyard of a local High School. Kind of odd to be honest. There is a small patio on the side of the building. The front of the building was open beings it was a nice day outside. We decided to do a flight to try the beers. Out of all that we tried and sampled, my friend was a fan of the Cherry Limeade and Anchored Down was my favorite beer. After speaking with who we assumed is the owner, we learned this place has been open a few years. I even told the guy that we have came down here for the 3rd year in a row to Florida and never has this place popped up on the map or a whisper of this place was mentioned. He gave us a background on the place and the beers themselves. I also heard from another source that one of the brewers is from our Hometown of Louisville KY. We enjoyed our visit here quite a bit however it was quite a distance from where we were staying. I wish we had time to visit one more time but, maybe next time. It is definitely worth visiting.

My husband always loves trying new beers and the option to get a variety of options canned to-go is definitely a plus. The Beer: I have tried probably close to a dozen beers. They are always changing them out and they let you have flights of up to 8 beers. Their hazy's have always been solid. The food: Their pretzel may be the best one I have ever had. It's soft, doughy and comes with a tasty beer cheese. I want to eat it again right now. The last time I went I got a simple chicken strips and fries. Except it was not simple it was delicious. The strips were more chicken breasts that were barely seasoned barely breaded and simply delicious. I forgot I had a dipping sauce. The fries were perfect little crisp pillows of heaven. Get them with truffles for a slight upcharge. The atmosphere: Very cool. The outdoor patio in the back is perfect for those spring and fall days. The inside is decorated with various history fun facts and items. The brewery itself is in an old section of town that is being revitalized.
