We had six adults and three babies (babies who obviously are not eating a multi-course tasting menu, they are drinking MILK) and they still tried to apply this policy to us. Not only was this never mentioned on the phone, but it felt completely unreasonable given the makeup of our group. Meanwhile, we were staring at an empty table that was big enough to fit our group. We were fully prepared to spend a significant amount of money there, and instead were turned away over a policy that should have been clearly communicated upfront. If you have strict rules like this, communicate them ahead of time, especially when people call to confirm. Don't tell guests you can accommodate them and then change everything when they arrive. The lack of transparency and flexibility made for a really disappointing experience. Would not recommend, especially for groups or anyone traveling with kids.
