We really enjoyed them, the meat was tender and slider not too thin. The bagel's were soft (steamed) and really good. When we walked in, it was fairly busy but the rush seemed to have passed--no line and most people already had their food. We chose to order to-go, but ended up waiting about 20 minutes. While waiting, another guest mentioned he had waited 45 minutes for his food. When we got home, I tried the PB&J (a recommendation from the owner on a past visit). It was okay, but I've liked other bagels more. My husband ordered the Nachos Maximus, (his usual) but unfortunately the sandwich was incorrect and came with an egg on top. He has an egg allergy, so he had to drive back (15 minutes each way) to get a replacement. The team remade it right away, but unfortunately there was no apology or apparent care for the mistake. Unfortunately, his bagel just ok and not as good as it has been in the past. I think the owner just adds the magic touch-a sprinkle of love! Overall, it was a disappointing visit compared to our past experiences--noticeably, the owner wasn't there this time. That said, we still highly recommend Sully's. Everyone has off days, and we'll continue to support them. Keeping my 5-star rating because this place truly deserves it.

I live in Florida and there are no cook outs, when ever I come to Georgia I specifically come to this cook out. It's right next to my grandparents and a grew up here. My grandpa would always get us a milkshake and burger. I had dinner already and I'm leaving back to Florida tomorrow so I asked my husband to stop for milkshakes. I got a Carmel milkshake, but it was stacked on top of a second cup, i thought it was an accident but no. Instead I lift up the first cup that had no bottom so they stuck it in another cup, and if you know cook out then you know their milkshakes are THICK like ice cream. I always have to use a spoon, and I was just finding chunk after chunk of styrofoam, I just kept pulling more and more out my mouth, had a few scared because there were some small pieces. But they really think it's ok to serve someone this? 08/22/2024 at 10:30 pm it's not like they close in 2 minutes they close at 3am. I wasn't going to turn around I noticed right when we got on the highway.

It was huge, had plenty of meat, and the flavor was good. It could have used more vinegar/oil/oregano but for the most part, the sandwich was tasty. The sandwich was well priced considering the amount of meat I received. The bad: the restaurant was gross inside. Looks like Jon Taffer and his cleaning crew need to pay them a visit. They seemed to be sufficiently staffed, so I'm not sure why there were neglected dirty dish rags by the soda fountain....yuck. Also, the gentleman working the counter could use a customer service skills course or two. He didn't greet me, say "hi how are you", nothing. He just looked at me for a while, and then asked if I was ready to order. I overheard him tell one of his coworkers later that he was depressed. I get that but dang...don't take it out on me! And I believe two of the other workers were having a tiff of some sort, because I overheard that too. They were also super slooooooooowwwwww getting orders fulfilled. I'll probably be back, because the sandwich was good. I just hope they can get their cleaning schedule together, because that was kind of a turnoff.

Brunch is serious business in Augusta and after one visit to The Brunch House of Augusta I…read morecompletely understand why this place stays packed. While in town for the weekend my husband and I wanted brunch somewhere unique to Augusta instead of another chain restaurant, and after scrolling Yelp and seeing all the glowing reviews we decided to give this Black owned, family operated spot a try. I noticed online that you can make a reservation for a $20 fee that gets deducted from your check. At first I was a little surprised, but after seeing how busy this place is, it makes total sense. We decided to roll the dice without a reservation anyway. When we arrived on a Saturday morning there were already several people waiting outside. There isn't really an indoor waiting area, so the hospitable hostess took my name and phone number and kindly asked us to wait outside. Later I noticed the sign explaining the process. She quoted us a 40-minute wait, but thankfully we were seated in about half that time. Inside, the restaurant is quaint and cozy with a classic diner feel complete with counter seating and booths. The ambiance is casual and welcoming. If you have a larger party, there are a couple of outdoor tables that appear to accommodate around six people, but personally I think this spot is best enjoyed with a smaller group. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and kept everything moving smoothly despite the busy brunch crowd. My husband ordered the chicken and waffles while I went with the Garden City breakfast bowl loaded with veggies and home fries plus a salmon croquette on the side. Every single thing tasted homemade and full of flavor. This is what Southern comfort food is supposed to taste like. My husband said the chicken was seasoned well and fried perfectly, and the waffle paired with it beautifully. My breakfast bowl reminded me of the kind of breakfast my grandma used to make, comforting, flavorful, and cooked with care. Portion sizes were just right,  enough to leave satisfied without feeling miserable afterward. Prices were also very reasonable for the quality of food and service we received. Stellar customer service, delicious food, and a welcoming atmosphere. If I ever find myself back in Augusta, this will absolutely be one of my repeat stops.
