This time instead of exploring their packaged snack products I thought about how much room we have left in our car and flying it home so I decided against it. I did buy 3 of their small cup size Blue Bell dark chocolate ice cream- for all of us but the cashier gave only one spoon. It tasted so good I had hubs go get me a large size one since I didn't eat a normal lunch and it was past 5 pm. While I waited in the car with the grandpup. I wanted to find some Bucee items for Doc since she's been our road trip driver plus made all the arrangements for hotels, tickets to parks, dinner show, etc. We all got different things: hubs got small bags of jerky, Doc got her favorite brisket sandwich to share with her Frenchie, a sausage on a stick and 3 peach cobblers for each of us to try. I like the large amount of clean restroom stalls plus soap. The cone of warmed sugary pecans and cinnamon bites were a sweet snack- finally gone from the first Buc-ee's a week ago. Before leaving Doc had us take a selfie and a nice gentleman also took a couple for us too.

Possibly an unpopular opinion, but... my last visit here was less than satisfactory. We grabbed lunch on our way to Houston. Our lunch consisted of brisket sandwich, chicken tenders & fries, and the three meat sandwich. I'm pretty sure their meat is not a true cut of brisket. Its consistency is like mush, and not like muscle fibers. There was nothing lean brisket vs fatty brisket. The brisket had holes throughout, making it look even more like an ultra processed deli meat or even lab grown. I was disgusted, to say the least. They also have ZERO options for people conscious of the ingredient lists. We bought popcorn and the bag was open at the bottom. I opted the top and it was super stale. I realized it was open on the bottom and the store game me a hard time about exchanging it. It's pretty clear the sealing process failed for this bag. We won't be shopping here anymore, nor will we eat their food. But if you're visiting Texas and come across one, it's a fun stop to pass time.

My sister and I used the automated car wash behind this location. The name Brand of the convenience…read morestore is Jud's, and there is a sign on the car wash that indicates it is run by said business name. However, in the event of an issue or malfunction, the clerks, or on-site management, are powerless to assist a customer that paid for a car wash outside of the store (at the kiosk before entering said car wash). It also seems that in the event of a fail to complete the wash cycle malfunction, operators are quick to attribute the malfunction to the driver. The instructions, as posted, were followed and yet, the malfunction still occurred. We called the number as posted on the sign, and received a voicemail. The number, as it turns out, is to some sort of main office in Brenham, and the recording was of such poor quality, I have no idea for whom I left the voicemail. No call-back has been received as of the time of this post.

It is stocked with all things snack, sodas, beer, bottled water, chips, trail mixes of all flavors, Icees, etc. It also has a hot food counter - hot dogs, sausage, pastries and more. Of course, expect to pay convenience store prices. But hey, that's what they're here for - convenience. And they have gas pumps and a place for 18-wheelers to park out of the way. They have a plethora of clean restrooms with hot air dryers. They are located at I10 East and the cutoff road to Lockhart. Go there when in the area.

I was on day three of being really sick, and I had gotten very little sleep that night because of all the sinus pain. I was blindly following the GPS and came upon this gas station/convenience store out in the middle of nowhere and decided to pull in at the rear of the place and sleep for a while. I don't even know if the place was open; it was still dark when I got there. I woke up and it was daylight. I needed something to drink, so I pulled around to the front of the place, parked crookedly and shuffled in. I saw they had breakfast tacos and realized I was hungry, too. I picked two random ones, bought them and left. One was brisket, the other was some mixture of eggs, potatoes, beans, bacon, sausage, cheese and whatever else they could think of to throw into it. The brisket didn't look great, so I set it aside and took a bite of the stuffed one. It was really, really good. So, I tried the brisket. Now, I have to say, if I bought a brisket plate and this is what they brought me, I'm not sure how I'd feel about it. But, as a taco (basically, just meat in a flour tortilla), it was absolutely delicious. I will say they were a bit on the pricey side. The two tacos and a 20 oz bottle of Diet Dr. Pepper was over $16. But, both of those tacos rank up there with the best I've had.
