Recently the dealership told me that I needed a front brake job and only had about 3 days on my current pads. Their estimate seemed excessive to me so I passed on the repair for now. Took it to Brake Solutions and they found all the brakes were in good shape and the front pads still had about 15,000 miles on them. Austin would not charge me. On top of that their estimate, if I would have needed the work, was more than half the price that the dealership quoted me. I'm now getting quotes from them for the other work the dealership felt I needed. Go see them. Friendly, honest, and reasonably priced. Thanks Brake Solutions!

They strongly urged me not to wait and said I should come back as soon as possible. Concerned for my safety, I even took time off work to have my brakes checked. Wanting a second opinion, I went to Brake Solutions. Even after knowing what the other shop had told me, they performed an honest inspection and informed me that my brakes still have an estimated 30,000 miles of life remaining. They could have easily sold me a brake job I didn't need, but instead they chose honesty and integrity. Their professionalism, transparency, and ethical business practices have earned my complete trust. I was especially grateful because I simply wasn't in a position to spend $1,000 on unnecessary repairs. In today's world, finding a shop that puts customers before profits is rare. Took my car here recently to get it looked at due to coolant and overheating problems. At first…read morethey told me it was the thermostat, so they replaced that and said " they bled the coolant system, and ran a block test". When I came to pick up my vehicle, I asked directly what the problem was and they said now it was a head gasket. I asked how they could tell because the car sat at the shop for two days !! First it's a thermostat, which didn't even need to be replaced then all of a sudden now it's a head gasket !! They never even drained the coolant system, and never refilled the coolant. I took it to O' Reilly Auto Parts to get a second look, had to use a whole container of coolant to fill up the radiator. The head mechanic is a liar and will take you for your money every time. When I asked about the diagnosis, he lacked complete punctuality and professionalism and told me that he wouldn't fix the car and told me to leave! He denied that it was never properly looked at or even fixed. They charged me $250 for a thermostat that didn't even need to be replaced and for tests that were never done. Beware of this place, don't go here !

This was not previously an issue. 3. Even though I didn't bring up any problems with my previous vehicle, they implied I was complaining about quality of previous work. I did no such thing, all I needed was routine service. Their attitude aggressive the whole way thru.
