You don't even need to be 18 to buy a lighter in California. The staff here move like they're in slow motion and act like they've never been trained. It's like walking into a break room at a retirement home where no one knows what's going on. I'm all for protecting kids from adult products--but that's not what this is. This is incompetence, plain and simple. To the owner: pay a little more and hire people who can think. Early morning, after school, evening drive are always packed due to its convenience to gas and go on the freeway down the road. Things that are good here are that the owners keep it clean. I often see a guy wiping down the pumps and taking out the trash. The squeegees have clean window cleanser in it and aren't all beat up. Pumps have little tv's to pass the 2 minutes you are pumping in case you need your attention filled constantly. The air machine works - yes you heard it right... air! Sometimes its the little things that matter. The snack shack is pretty standard, and the employees are friendly. Oh and another plus is if you have to go late at night it is very well lit. So despite the occasional line to pump this is a good station gas up at. Pro Tip - Don't forget your Ralph's Rewards to $ave on the cost for gas!

Then I was able to use my Ralphs Rewards for more money off!!! The car wash was a "magic wash" better than any of the ones I seen in other shells. But you have to drive onto a track. She showed her receipt, saying that she paid $60 and the change due was #40, but the cashier would not give her the change or look up the transaction. Hate - that it's already crowded PLUS a few pumps are broken (usually). Love - that it has Lotto, Redbox, and Blue Rhino propane. Hate - that some of the hooky things are broken and you have to stand there holding it the whole time. Love - that they added a Circle K. Hate - that the the only that changed was the name.

I was desperate, and brought 8 bucks worth of cash since I wasn't about to dive further into credit card debt. I was planning on getting a lemonade and another snack if I had the money but remembered that this is the only damn Circle K in the entire area that doesn't have lemonade. However, there was a wetzel's pretzels inside with lemonade. I ordered a small bag of mini-pretzels from the clearly disgruntled employee running it, and then all of a sudden, all my cash was GONE. No room for lemonade, they might've charged 2 dollars for that. in inflation times, this may seem like a reasonable price for pretzels. Think again. I could get a single cheeseburger with animal style fries at In-N-Out for the same price. I was in shock. Even worse, I can feel the pure fiery hatred radiating from the guy who works here. I bet he was upset that he was charging 8 bucks for a small bag of pretzels as well. As I write this, I still burn with hatred for my cash lost on those mediocre pretzels in these trying times. Nothing at a gas station should cost 8 dollars on its own. A wetzel's pretzels, therefore, does not belong inside this establishment.

High winds, major brush fires and thousands of displaced families and we can use any sign of solidarity and patriotism.
