This is incompetence, plain and simple. To the owner: pay a little more and hire people who can think. I paid, then something told me to ask for the receipt. The second I asked for it, his demeanor changed and he seemed nervous. I looked at the receipt and noticed it showed 8 items sold, even though I only had 7 items total, including the bag. So where did item number 8 come from? And the worst part was what happened when I questioned it. Instead of simply correcting the charge and continuing the transaction, he told me, No, I'm just going to give you a refund, and then did not want to sell me anything at all. That made the entire interaction feel even more suspicious and uncomfortable. I came into the store to make a normal purchase. I did not cause a scene. I simply checked my receipt and questioned a charge for something I did not buy. It may have only been $1.29, but that is completely beside the point. If I had not asked for my receipt, I would have never noticed. How many customers tap their card, grab their things, and walk out without checking? I strongly recommend that anyone shopping at this location ASK FOR YOUR RECEIPT AND CHECK EVERY SINGLE ITEM before leaving. Early morning, after school, evening drive are always packed due to its convenience to gas and go on the freeway down the road. Things that are good here are that the owners keep it clean. I often see a guy wiping down the pumps and taking out the trash. The squeegees have clean window cleanser in it and aren't all beat up. Pumps have little tv's to pass the 2 minutes you are pumping in case you need your attention filled constantly. The air machine works - yes you heard it right... air! Sometimes its the little things that matter. The snack shack is pretty standard, and the employees are friendly. Oh and another plus is if you have to go late at night it is very well lit. So despite the occasional line to pump this is a good station gas up at. Pro Tip - Don't forget your Ralph's Rewards to $ave on the cost for gas!

I was desperate, and brought 8 bucks worth of cash since I wasn't about to dive further into credit card debt. I was planning on getting a lemonade and another snack if I had the money but remembered that this is the only damn Circle K in the entire area that doesn't have lemonade. However, there was a wetzel's pretzels inside with lemonade. I ordered a small bag of mini-pretzels from the clearly disgruntled employee running it, and then all of a sudden, all my cash was GONE. No room for lemonade, they might've charged 2 dollars for that. in inflation times, this may seem like a reasonable price for pretzels. Think again. I could get a single cheeseburger with animal style fries at In-N-Out for the same price. I was in shock. Even worse, I can feel the pure fiery hatred radiating from the guy who works here. It's great to be able to get multiple things done so close to home. This Circle K makes this Mobile gas station much more than just a place for gas.
