Once again Taryn made sure to ease my concerns about causing the spill. Again, this particular location is always amazing but staff is 5star. I usually go to Harris Teeter but I know the Food Lion in Mooresville has them on sale so wanted to check this one out. They did indeed have Bings on sale, but only for one flavor, which I had never seen before. That being the case, I took my 12 Bings (three on sale if by flavor) and went to the register to inquire. Up until this point, I was a normal, logical, and respectful human being. Unfortunately, I'm not sure how long that lasted. I approached the cashier and put the Bing-filled handheld basket on the stationary conveyor belt and looked at the cashier but she was violently cross-eyed. No big deal but just not something I expected so I froze for a brief second. Maybe five seconds. "What?" she said. "What?" I replied as if me staring at her for five full seconds was normal and I didn't understand her question. "You're staring at me because I'm cross-eyed." "Me?" I pointed to myself. "No. I didn't even notice that." I was taught as a child that the only good lie was a white lie to protect someone's feelings. "Yes you were." "Okay, maybe, but I was just admiring how beautiful it is because, figuratively speaking, it's like being at the beach and the mountains at the same time. "The beach and the mountains, dude?" She just stared at me. I think. It wasn't going well and without saying a word, I picked up my basket and headed toward self-checkout. Along the way I mumbled to myself out loud: "Just tying to help the human race by not using self-checkout but whatever." So, if you saw a dude that looks like me mumbling to himself in the store, that was me. Or if you just saw a dude that looks like me, that was probably me anyway. As for the store, and aside from this embarrassing experience, the lady at the self-checkout area confirmed that only one flavor was on sale (odd), but it was a simple and easy checkout experience. However, I grabbed one of those $1 packets of vanilla wafers along the way and later learned they tasted like coffee-flavored cardboard. Avoid those! But now it motivates me to get the regular vanilla wafers because they are great. Maybe the store does this on purpose. If so, genius move. The staff here is hit and miss as are the prices. The vibe of this whole shopping center has gone downhill over the years due to Huntersville getting greedy and overbuilding everywhere. It's not about top-line growth; it's about quality of life. Your greed has backfired and you have failed miserably. Your legacies are destroyed forever. For a better shopping experience and great prices, go to Aldi across the street but Food Lion isn't bad, it just Food Lion. It's the supermarket equivalent to McDonalds. You just need to know what to expect.

To my knowledge, there are four of them, two in Cornelius and two in Huntersville although this one is on the edge of both Cornelius and Huntersville. Been going to them for years but this is probably the one least visited because of proximity to where I lived in Cornelius. Now that I have moved to Denver, I drive by it every day and have more reason to stop in. In the old days when I smoked, I would occasionally buy cigarettes here and an occasional lottery ticket. Most of the Cashion Stores are very friendly but for some reason, the folks here are not very friendly nor are they very helpful or organized. In the past couple of months, have stopped in several time for gas and the has not changed for any the better, Thankfully with gas, you normally pay at the pump so at least you can minimize contact. Only gas station in the immediate area so if you're low on gas, good idea to fill up otherwise drive a bit further and find someplace else.

I've been there before but it's been a while so wanted to see if it had changed. Got there a little after noon and they were closed despite the posted hours. On the way over, I had passed the East Lincoln Mini Mart which has a big sign out front, "Best Hot Dogs in Town". Stopped in and their kitchen was down so no Hot Dogs. One more place and that was Jay's in Denver but sign said, closed until 3pm. Ended up with roller Dogs at the Quik Trip Gas Station. Not the best but still not too bad. Repeated the same thing yesterday. City Lunch was closed despite the hours being 5:30am to 5:30pm. East Lincoln Mini Mart had their equipment back online, so I ordered two of them. No place to sit so I took them home since I only live about 10 minutes away. Building is not much to look at, but the Hot Dogs were incredible. The dogs were all beef and had great flavor and texture with a nice snap. Not normally a fan of slaw and I did not tell them "No Slaw". so they came with slaw. Something about North Carolina, everything comes with slaw. Nevertheless, the Hot Dogs even with the Slaw were delicious. Price was more than reasonable and a great value The sign boasting "Best Hotdog in Town" on the front of the building is accurate and the place lives up to the sign. Will definitely be back.

She walked in and took a couple of minutes, but she promptly found what she was looking for. It was behind glass but that is not an unusual anit-theft measure these days. Back to the front counter and only one station open (turned out that was the only Walgreens employee available) and there were two ahead of her. No problem but when she got to the counter and asked for someone to open the display to get what she wanted, she was informed that the person at the cashier was the only person who could open the cabinet for her. Finally she went back to the display and opened it for my wife. Originally my wife only wanted one there were two available and to avoid going through this again, she took both boxes. Back to the front and even though the cashier had walked her back to the merchandize, she was again second in the que. At this point just an aggravation but it the store had been busier; it could have been a disaster.
