Chicken and Shrimp , fry's and toast. not a good value. zaxbys shouldnt do shrimp.. Service was ok.. Ambiance Bland....

Normally when I go to Zaxby's, I go to the one in Statesville NC because of proximity to work. Enjoy their sandwiches and in particular, their Salads. We moved from Cornelius NC to Denver NC just under 2 1/2 years ago and there is a Zaxby's less than a mile from my house. Because it is so close, no special reason to make a special trip there. Nevertheless, during this time, I think I have been there 3 or 4 times. My wife is not a fan of the cuisine and I normally visit when she flies up to Pittsburgh to visit with her daughter and granddaughters. (Note: She's flying up on Monday so Zaxby's may be an option next week. During my visits, I've had their Spicy Chicken Sandwich which was very good. This was ordered through their drive thru and while very slow, was on pare with their Statesville location. Last time I went a couple of weeks ago, I had the Great 8 Boneless Chicken Wings with Tongue Torch Sauce. Very good but next time I think I will get a Sauce that is a bit milder. Thank goodness for the Ranch Dressing. Crinkle Fries as a side and unsweetened Iced Tea. Very good but the Tongue Torch Sauce will light you up. I like hot sauces but this one is near my limit for heat. The other time I had one of their salads which was good. For the Great 8 and the Salad, I dined in and service was very good. The sandwich was during the height of Covid and everyone was using the Drive Thru. All in all, pretty good friendly service with good food although my wife has different tastes. read more

It's a knock off of Cane's but still tasty. Can't get my Cane's fix so this is the next best thing. Didn't think I would like their sauce but it isn't too bad. The toast is a no for me. I personally hate coleslaw so that also gets a no. I do like the fries but I tend to just buy a bunch of the tendies and put them in my freezer, pop them in my air fryer when I'm wanting some good boneless fried chicken. read more

Wouldn't let me spend my cash money as thats all i had because my debit card was hacked and i ordered 3 meals. Wouldn't make exception. Then i went & spent it at gas station , chic filet (its better anyways & better service) (that's why their line is always linger & zaxby's pretty short cause no one is there)and Aldi's directly across the street , so if they don't want my money , i won't ever go back, period. I LOVE ZAXBYS! Its my go to . If I had to eat one food for the rest of my life, It would be zaxby chicken fingers with a side of ZAXSAUCE. If I could pour zaxby sauce into a glass and drink it, I definitely would. Zaxbys in denver is a wonderul establishment founded by the heavens The workers are kind and extra ZAXY! Which perfectly compliments their hot and yummy chicken. I recommend trying their toast too.. Its almost like the zax gods toasted it in a toaster made of gold and heaven and everything in between. If you're on the road traveling, I recommend going through the zaxbys drive through and hearing the wonderful, melodious sounds of the zaxby employees asking you which jaw dropping, extraordinary, charming meal you'd like to feast on. The fries are fried to perfection and seasoned with the perfect amount of flavor. Truly the best fries i've ever had the option to feast on. I've never seen a more beautiful building than the zaxby establishment. It almost brings tears to my eyes when I get the opportunity to feast on zaxby denver chicken! Hadn't been to a Zaxby's in quite some time, so when a I received a coopun in the mail to buy a large drink and get a free sandwich, I thought I would give them another try. Girls at the counter were friendly and my southern tlc chicken sandwich was served hot with lettuce. tomato and mayo. and was very good. With a large drink, tax and the coopun it was only $2.66 for lunch. What a deal! The coopun saved me $4.49 I also like that the ice at Zaxby's is petite cubes and not big chunks. While the food and service today was good, most Zalads, sandwich , and wing meals which include fries and a medium drink plus tax will set you back between $7-$9 so I think any future visits to Zaxby's will be only be when I have a coopun! read more

Friendliest Zaxby's out of all the Zaxby's in the Charlotte Metro area. Chalk it up to the friendly people of Denver, chalk it up to good customer service where they still smile at you and ask if you need anything--whatever the reason, we enjoy going here when we are in the area and pining for some good chicken fingers and wings. read more

Waited in the drive through for 45 minutes before even getting my order taken. Slower than Christmas. There were two employees sitting in a booth just chillin the entire time as well. I could have gone to Charlotte and back during the time. I was only 2 minutes from my house. SMH...I guess employees can do what they want cause they know that have trouble hiring. read more

Went through the drive through 30 minutes before close time. The gentleman that was in drive through was professional with his greeting and expedient were taking our order. Disappointing visit today, we drive a bit out of our way just for this location. Normally, we get excellent service and it's worth the trouble. Recently however, was a bit disappointing. The food was up to its normal standard, but the service in the drive-thur was downright rude. I sure hope this is not the new norm for this location. read more

Zaxbys was tapped to cater an event. Despite repeated assurances our platter would be ready at noon, we arrived promptly at 12:05 only to find our order had not yet been completed. Infact, it was not even started. This put quite the damper on our festivities (as you can imagine). This was bad; however, I must begrudgingly admit zaxbys recovered well from this set back and things went swimmingly thereafter. I can't say I've ever had a terrible experience at Zaxby's until today. To spend over $9 on what i received as "food" is disappointing. The chicken fingerz were hard... couldn't tell if they were old or undercooked. Ate two with no issues but the other two weren't edible. The fries were burnt and so hard that I couldn't even eat them. Hopefully this doesn't make me sick because if it does I may have to go get my money back! Won't be going back to this location for a meal. read more
