We truly enjoyed coming in today. The restaurant is clean and vibrant, with great music. The young man who attended us was so patient and sweet, explaining any questions I had. Super friendly staff! Amazing fresh large char grilled burgers! Having some tempura green beans and maybe the salty fries can fill you up. And then you can just eat have of the huge burger. Can't wait to come back and try their other burgers. Oh and their onions are a must try! Inside is nice. You order your food. Delicious salad Everything is made fresh to order so be aware this isn't "fast" food like micky D. However on the day I went there were 5 people no drive thru customer and I was on the ONLY customer. It took 18 minutes for a grilled chicken salad. I'm sorry that timing is kinda ridiculous. This place isn't really packed why have so much staff just standing around talking to each other and no work being done. A Fresh, Flavorful Night at Habit Burger & Grill Last night, my wife and I had one of those unexpectedly great dining experiences at Habit Burger & Grill that just has to be shared. While the place is known for its burgers, we decided to mix things up--and we're so glad we did. I went with the Mango Miso Crunch Salad, and let me just say: wow. The combination of fresh greens, grilled chicken, sweet mango, and that zesty miso dressing was next-level. It was light but filling, crunchy yet juicy, and packed with flavor in every bite. Honestly, one of the best fast-casual salads I've ever had. We also shared the Tempura Avocado Wedges, and they were incredible--crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside, and paired with a dipping sauce that hit all the right notes. It's the kind of side dish that makes you wonder why more places haven't caught on to how good fried avocado can be. The staff was friendly, the vibe was relaxed, and sharing such a tasty meal with my wife made it even better. We'll definitely be back soon--and next time, I might even try to convince myself not to order the same salad again. But no promises. read more

I want to start by saying that the food itself is good. However, corporate leadership needs to take a serious look at customer service training at the Denver, NC location. I placed my order using the self-service kiosk and chose a family box, assuming it would make things easier. Unfortunately, it was quite the opposite. Despite the restaurant being nearly empty after 1:00 p.m., the order took a long time to come out. When we finally received the box, I immediately noticed that my husband's burger was incorrect. I brought the box back to the front counter, and instead of an apology or even a willingness to review the issue, the employee's first response was, "You placed the order wrong, and that one doesn't come with cheese." There was no attempt to listen, no courtesy, and no acknowledgment of the mistake. As I calmly explained what the burger was supposed to include, I was met with continued attitude while she wrote down the corrections. She then told me they needed to remake the entire box and took all of our food back, leaving us waiting another 10 minutes. When she returned, she brought only the burgers--which were still incorrect--and said the sides were coming. Another 10 minutes passed before the sides arrived, and they were also wrong. At that point, we were done. The food was incorrect, the wait was excessive, and not once during this entire interaction did we receive an apology or even basic courtesy. When the food was dropped off, nothing was said at all. It took a lot for me not to address the attitude directly, but I felt a review would be more appropriate. Customers should not be treated poorly for expecting to receive what they ordered. No one should be made to feel uncomfortable or dismissed when there is a legitimate issue. I sincerely hope corporate reviews this location closely. This is not the first time I've heard concerns about staff behavior here, and it does not reflect the standards one would expect from this brand. read more

Will have to give them time because they only opened yesterday and they have a lot of bugs to work out. Have been waiting for several months for the building to be completed and open and they finally opened on Thursday, I think. Wife had a dinner party with some of her friends, so she suggested I give them a try. Drove over a little after four and they were something like 4 cars ahead of me. Drove up to the intercom and placed an order for their standard Charburger Combo and opted for Barq's Root beer which I have not had in ages. Unfortunately, the drive through is exceptionally slow. Took 20 minutes to move up four car lengths. Intercom needs work as well because the voice that comes out is virtually unintelligible. Got to the window and paid and waited again. Not the most expensive burger I have ever ordered but I would be hard pressed to say that a single burger, fries and soft drink is a value at $13.36. They tout that these are Char Burgers which brings to mind the chared flavor you get over a backyard Charcoal Grill or the original Burger King and Burger Chef offerings. Noting like that at all. Don't get me wrong because the burger was good but did not live up to my expectation. Will give them a month or so and see if the delivery improves. read more

I've been to this location of the habit a few times now, and one thing that has always been consistent, is the employees. The employees have always been so friendly and nice. I've most used the drive thru, which is very awkward once you make that turn to get to the window due to the median beside it. The food is overall pretty good. The fries are standard, nothing too special. The burgers are also decent, they've always been very fresh. I really enjoy their house made juices. Overall, this is a better than average burger place. It is pricier than typical fast food, but seems to be of higher quality. read more

Finally a food place in Denver that is not a fast food restaurant. Thank you. We love The Habit so were so excited to see it being built Great burgers and fries as well as their traditional tempura green beans. My husband misses the Ahin Tuna sandwich, but rumor has it they may add it soon. The burgers are always fresh and tasty and everything is to order Great staff. They are all working hard. I was surprised that they had a drive thru, but I guess everyone wants the ability to not get out of their car. We will definitely be back. Hoping that they will have the pastrami sandwich back as well. It is so nice to have something good from California. read more

Finally got an opportunity to try this place. After a quick trip to Lowe's with my mom we stopped in and right out of the gate we were greeted sincerely. We basically had a coupon and there was a mix up with it but they didn't make that our issue. Since we hadn't been there they explained what was included with our items of interest. There was even a little friendly banter. Important to me - the space was super clean. Our food looked pleasing to the eyes and tasted very very fresh. My mom had the Santa Barbara burger with onion rings and I had the Santa Barbara salad. The avocado was yum. I had the strawberry limeade which was also good but I don't like my drinks super sweet. I'll go back because I'd like to try all of the salads. And the onion rings were also yum. This place goes on the list. Perfect on. Saturday after a Lowe's trip. Growing up in California I've been to Habitat many times and love their burgers and onion rings. I've anxiously awaited the opening of the one in Denver so I stopped by yesterday, just a few days after they opened. Drive through line was slowish but not outrageous. Service was friendly. The burger was good but not quite yet takin like what I recall. I will give them more time to get into the swing of things and give them another try. I will note that, while the burgers aren't yet up to typical Habit standards they are far better than McDonalds, Burger King and Cook Out. read more

Trying to be a step up from Five Guys with a generic fast food format. If you want to order at the kiosk, you have to give up your cell phone number. That was a kiosk killer for me, so I ordered at the counter. Got a burger, which was nicely made, although they serve it with mayo instead of ketchup, which I didn't think would bother me, but it kinda did. Of course ketchup is available. I tried this place tonight with my wife. A double burger,regular burger,onion rings,tempura green beans,two sodas was over 30 dollars. I don't mind over paying for a meal if it's good. I seen it passing by so I decided to stop in. I was a little weary because I seen a drive thru thinking it's just another fast food joint. I was pleasantly surprised on how good my salad, burger and aqua Fresca was. It was very clean and the workers were nice and helpful. If there were more stars I would give them. I read the other reviews and I remain SHOCKED that SOME people have rated this place poorly. This burger grill is superior to any other that is in our area. Everything about this burger is delicious. EACH ORDER IS MADE FRESH, and it takes more than a fast-food minute to receive, worth it for fresh hot food. Nothing is setting for hours, and no stale food is handed to a customer. We have been a few times, and we have no complaints about the food or the service. Everything is clean including the bathroom. The assortment of beverages is numerous, and they make some of the juices and Ades fresh, the sweet and unsweetened tea are brewed fresh and are tasty. The have fountain Coke and Coke products also. The food is FRESH. The charburgers taste charred and the ingredients on the burger are a delicious combination; pickles, lettuce, tomato, grilled tasty onions and mayo. The food bar has banana peppers and other varieties, and mustard and ketchup. Delicious! People squawk about the price LOOK at your Macdonald receipt and others too because the price is about the same, the difference is FRESH FOOD. read more
