I came in to get gas at 4:00AM. Cashier had a sign up that we had to use the self pay station. Self…read morepay station wouldn't take my cash. I needed to buy $20 of gas. He wouldn't help me and he said he couldn't take my cash because he didn't have change to give me. I said I have a $20 dollar bill for $20 dollars of gas. He still wouldn't help me with the self pay station or actually use the cash register to take my money. I just thought his customer service sucked. By the way, several pumps weren't working either.

It had a relatively friendly guy behind the counter. It's a convenience store with a ton of unhealthy food options that is within walking distance of a hotel. I made bank today in that I have an Easy Pay card that gives me a $0.10/gal discount and I have the $0.25/gal. discount for four more fill ups because of the welcome package for joining Circle K Inner Circle. That means I filled up for $2.36/gal.! Great deal. This is a large Circle K with lots of room, nice layout, and a self-service checkout. Many gas bays, too, so you won't have to wait. Convenient location. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Tucson-top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. No warning, no conversation, nothing. Just attitude and rudeness like he owned the place. When my boyfriend calmly asked why, Isaac kept repeating "because I said so." That is not how you treat customers, especially people who come in every day on long hauls. We both felt uncomfortable and disrespected, and the fact that nobody else stepped in to explain anything made it even worse. If this is how they handle guests, I'm honestly shocked the place is still running. Pilot needs to retrain their staff immediately because this was embarrassing, unprofessional, and completely unnecessary.

Then I even went through the self checkout and a kid named Isaiah who worked there was so rude. I couldn't believe he was even employed there. I simply asked if there were any boxes around prior to checking out at the self checkout and he said "you have to go over there to get them" and pointed somewhere but I was next so I didn't wanna hold the other person up so I just went. He could've gotten a box by the time I was done with my stuff for me. But maybe that's not his job which seem like most people's attitude in there "not my job". I have family members who have retired from Costco and currently work for Costco and never experiences. Maybe I'm just used to the nice people in Boise, Idaho. Not Tucson, Arizona.
